Zimbabwe is also a member of the WTO, with a currency worth squat. I'm not sure member status means RV,  but sure seems another piece of the puzzle ...

I had to translate it in Bing to double check - as you can see the wording is different

If I read this correct. I have 4 excellent laying chickens for sale (Girdie, Scarlet, Headie, Nugget). A flatbed truck (Dodge). Jeep (Its for fun) A carpet cleaning business, (NOT FUN). A 3 bedroom home nestled in the Cumberland Mountains. I might want to keep my home though. Depends on hunting and fishing season.

There's still more work to be done before full fledged membership happens.  However, any significant progress in this area is a confidence marker for whomever is making the final decision to go "international".  NOT required for the RI / RV.

Another article states that Iraq is years from being a full member of the WTO. Biggest problem is they export 0, nothing...Lucky for us becoming a member of the WTO has 0 to do with the RV....Great reading though.
