  1. Good morning DinarVets, and happy Wednesday! Also, happy continuation-of-November-3rd, where the voting happened and the counting continues. I know there are a lot of people who are on the edge of their seats today, waiting for the ballots to be counted and the winner of the United States presidential election to be decided. The unfortunate fact is... it's too close of a race to call yet, and we probably won't have a clear answer until at least the end of the day. More likely, the end of the week. No matter who wins, life will go on. Love your loved ones, let go of that which does not serve you well and good, and GO RV!!! The US political news is enough to keep me writing here for hours upon hours, if that was what I cared to do... ... it's not. I'm sure a lot of gossip and speculation surrounding the elections will be affecting the Dinar world. If Trump is going to stay in the White House, Iraq certainly has a good reason to count on support from the US in their revalue (increase) of their currency. If Trump will not be staying in the Oval Office, he could make one of his last plays a major push to help Iraq in any way they want. No matter what, President Trump still has an influence on foreign affairs, policy, and support for Iraq until at least January 19th 2021. And we know he won't be doing anything to hinder Iraq in an RV. That may be why we aren't seeing any actual news about Iraq's currency as it directly relates to the US presidential election... because no matter how this goes, they still have the support of the US and regardless of how things turn out, we have a few months where they are in a great position, with global support, and they can flip that switch with no substantial resistance from one of the most influential and powerful nations in the world - the USA. With all that said... my suggestion is simple. Hang tight, wait for the official RV announcement from DinarVets, get in VIP(!!!!), and GOOOO RRRRRVVVVVV!!!!!! The weekly Powerball Pool is here. - Adam P.S. It was mentioned recently that something I said may have held a hidden message... has anyone ever noticed the colors I use for "GO RV!"? And the order I put them in? 5,000 DV points for the first member to guess the significance. Hint - there are two parts to the explanation. P.P.S. I would personally enjoy some great commentary on how the markets are performing and how they will continue to react as time goes on this week. @Pitcher?

  3. Good Evening Dinar Vets, here's a few opinions & comments that might be of interest to you. Remember, no one really knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what they perceive to be happening in Iraq. RON *** Mnt Goat *** So once again, in less than a month, the flood gates opened pouring out VERY GOOD news? WOW! Iraq adopted the White Paper last month of October 2020 for Economic Reform. There is no need for a vote in parliament. It is done! All this news today points in only one direction – Iraq is setting themselves up for international trade and to use their dinar. They are going to make their dinar very valuable once again as in the past. Oh – don’t forget the WTO is meeting with Iraq delegation again in early November (...this month!). Remember they said they were going to “fast-track” Iraq into the WTO. WOW! ...Iraq is moving to completing the project to delete the zeros VERY SOON and this leads to the reinstatement of the IQD...If you like to dance you may start now because this news today is dance worthy… I am dancing now…lol... *** Mark *** Quiet in the banking world…but a lot of chatter from my different government contacts as they expect within 10 days from tomorrow we will finally have a reset...i am hoping this is accurate…we are all so ready for this this craziness to be over...the chatter is really solid…that no matter who wins today we will finally get the reset…my sources in Iraq are very upbeat that once we get through this circus and distractions that we will be good to go…again based on government sources…they are looking for the reset anytime during the next 10 days. *** Delta *** ...the U.S. they did devalue the Iraqi dinar and they are the one to bring it back again. Of course it has to be the right time and the right people in place...it's obvious to all of us right now, it's crystal clear, that all the action taken by the Central Bank of Iraq...they are about to come out with a rate now...my personal opinion...once the election is over...everything is going to break lose as far as the Iraqi dinar...

  5. I’ve never heard President Trump say do not count the votes. He said we just need to make sure the votes are proper. Johnny I have a very good friend who works in the National Trump Campaign. What he has told me is very very disturbing. This Race is not over until all the votes are counted including 600k in Arizona and many in Wisconsin and Nevada that were mysteriously not counted. In Philadelphia they are finding dead people have voted and over 100% of some precincts population have been counted. ( voting more than once) The discrepancies are so blatant and so wrong that a lawsuit has been filed this afternoon with the Supreme Court. It appears the Pennsylvania Election Commission broke the law in blocking a Republican watcher at the counting facility. This doesn’t surprise me. Let’s see what happens but I have a feeling Dems aren’t going to like the end results. Hating President Trump doesn’t give overzealous people the right to break the law.

  7. Ok, I’ve made my first trade and it was in Biib, a Biotech for a nice gain. Today we have the Healthcare and Technology sectors leading and doing very well. I think they are doing well because it was low hanging fruit. Both sectors were beat up pretty good last week and needed a little relief rally. Once we know who wins the White House and Senate we will hopefully have more clarity on investing. When I sit down at my desk to trade I have to be 100% non prejudiced. As a Day Trader you have to block out all the noise and trust what the charts are telling you. I am a 100% Technical Trader when I’m Day Trading, so I try to just react and trade my disciplines. To be a Long Term Investor of the Stock Market you have to consider EVERYTHING. Who will be President and the ramifications of that will determine how I will invest going forward. I’ve been sitting in Cash for over a year waiting for clarity from the CV, who wins the WH, to see if there would be a Blue Wave and a move to Socialism and far Left disruptive policies. I probably won’t put any new money for a Long Term Investment until late Dec or Jan. I’m pretty conservative and I’m at a point in my life where I can wait for what I think are the best conditions to succeed. So you all now I was and still am hoping for a Trump Victory. If Biden wins I don’t think it will be the end of the world as long as the Reps keep the Senate. I am a businessman and I am PRO business. With a Rep Senate tax hikes are off the table. It also puts Socialism, Green New Deal, fracking and other far Left Policies on hold. That should all be good for business and the Stock Market going forward. We are still in a Pandemic and if Biden locks down the economy many businesses will be permanently closed. I’m hoping if Biden is elected he will reach across the table and get a Stimulus Package done with McConnell and get his Dem Govenors and Mayors to open up their States. For the next next week or until a winner is established expect Volatility in the Markets as they digest what a Trump or Biden victory will mean. The markets sold off pretty hard leading up to the Election so the last few days of going up is just a relief rally in my mind. If we get a Stimulus Package, an Infrastructure Bill passed, a Vacine for The CV in the next month, it won’t matter who wins the Presidency. With those things the economy and the Stock Market will go higher. We’ll see what happens, the best advice I give to my kids is try to stay positive and always look for opportunities. The USA is still a great Country and it will get through this Pandemic and proper, especially if we get an RV Stimulus. Who is going to buy a new Vehicle or home when this investment pops?

  13. as far as election goes it's very distressing that they stopped the count in Pennsylvania and took the uncounted ballots away to a different facility and ruled that the ballots don't have to have signatures and those that do the signatures that don't match should still be counted. Thievery in the works by one way or another Biden will win this election or they will burn this nation down. 20. Oil-dependent Iraq must ‘diversify rapidly’ as challenges stifle young population Iraqi protesters on Al-Jumhuriya Bridge in the capital Baghdad on October 25, 2020. (AFP) Dina Ibrahim, Al Arabiya EnglishWednesday 04 November 2020 Text size A A A Earlier in the 20th century, Iraq was an agriculture-dependent new country with only a fledgling oil sector. Zooming forward to 2020, Iraq is now highly dependent on oil as its principal income, with the government the largest employer and the agriculture sector in crisis. But the country’s oil and gas sector itself isn’t even highly developed. In a July article by the New York Times, the US paper dubbed Iraq as a “rare country,” since it imports gas despite burning natural gas from oil wells into the air rather than using it. This wasted and uncultivated gas could power up to 3 million homes and help revive manufacturing once again in a country that still has an ailing public electricity infrastructure. For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app. Iraq’s agriculture is also suffering, not only has it been impacted by climate change but it has been undermined by cheaper foreign products, especially from sanction-hit Iran, making much produce unprofitable. The country is not providing enough jobs for its growing population, where female labor force participation is “very low,” explained Frank R. Gunter, author of “The Political Economy of Iraq: Restoring Balance in a Post-Conflict Society.” “Every year, about 900,000 or up to million Iraqis become old enough to work,” said Gunter, who is also a professor of economics at Lehigh University. Gunter said that in Baghdad “on most street corners at about 10 a.m. there are groups of young men just standing there talking, smoking cigarettes.” He said the country needs to create about 325,000 jobs a year. Gunter also pointed out that Iraq faces the further problem of paying back debts that date back to 2006. Without addressing these issues, unrest is likely to continue. A boom in population combined with a lack of proper employment opportunities, especially for recent graduates, has been one of the root causes of protests that began in October last year. The incessant call by the protesters for a more reliable, sovereign Iraq and the need to revive local manufacturing in a corruption-free country, had led to hundreds of young lives lost and at least 15,000 wounded. Iraq is revamping business regulations Despite Iraq’s obvious problems, politicians have not proposed a clear economic roadmap for the country. The country’s finance minister Ali Allawi told The Associated Press in early October that there is a growing political will for drastic reforms that are especially needed as the global oil industry has been rocked by coronavirus. However, the government has made some minor steps to reforming its business environment. A man wearing a protective face mask at Nahr Bin Umar oil field, Iraq. (File photo: Reuters) So far, Iraq is in the process of revamping its business regulations to march away from its inherited bureaucratic socialism, tracing back to the Ba’ath party from 1968 to 2003. “Iraq is in process of rewriting its business regulations. But that’s a 10-year process. They don’t have 10 years, you have one year,” explained Gunter. The professor said Iraq could easily copy the UAE’s blueprint to move ahead instead of this prolonged process amid the dire need to bring more diversification. “What they [Iraqis] need is to diversify, and diversify rapidly away from oil,” added Gunter, who was the senior civilian economics adviser for Multi-National Corps – Iraq at Camp Victory, Iraq (July 2008 – July 2009). Read more: Volunteers want Christians return to Mosul Iraq reopens Tahrir square, epicenter of anti-government protests in Baghdad With the days of $100 per oil barrel long gone, the black crude sector itself “doesn’t employ a lot of people, maybe about 3 percent of the labor force,” Gunter explained. Old socialism suppressing entrepreneurship The legacy of the Napoleonic code legal system in Iraq is stifling young Iraqis from unleash their entrepreneurial powers. In countries like the United States, where they exercise common law, regulations allow “everything” except for what the “law forbids.” For instance, the proposal of a new computer app would require the entrepreneurs to find out if there are any laws that would deem it forbidden. However, with the socialist Napoleonic code, “Everything is forbidden except what the law allows.” What does that mean for Iraq? “In Iraq, you are illegal until you can get a law passed saying that your app can now be sold,” Gunter said. “Well, you probably pay bribes to get the approval from an official,” he added, exacerbating the corruption problem. In his book, Gunter describes how 40 percent of small businesses’ revenues and “not profits’’ go wasted to bribes. In contrast, anyone can open a new business online in about an hour, with a meagre amount of money. “To do the equivalent in Iraq, it’s going to take over a month, it’s going to cost you thousands of dollars. They may not give you permission. For example, [if] you want to establish a business, you have to have a lawyer on retainer, you have to have an accountant on retainer,” the professor said. Failure to diversify Salim Hamra, an Iraqi immigrant based in Toronto and a graduate from the UAE-based Iraqi Public Policy Leadership Program (IPPLP), an initiative led by Iraqis in the diaspora in hopes of creating leaders, believes there are many reasons why Iraq has “failed to diversify.” Iraqi protesters gather on Al-Jumhuriya Bridge in the capital Baghdad on October 25, 2020. (AFP) “I can’t pinpoint one specific issue,” Hamra said. “Iraq’s private sector hasn’t changed in decades. It’s still mainly family-run and private businesses for the most part, the government tried to encourage and support new businesses through its investment law.” Iraq’s “investment law is written well, not great, but well,” Hamra added. Read more: Iraq Kurdish ex-governor wanted for corruption dies in US At least three killed, 51 injured in southern Iraq blast targeting pipeline “The issue with the law is how it’s implemented in practice, and that seems to be the issue with many things in Iraq, how things are in practice,” Hamra said. “The investment law is supposed to encourage private investors to invest in Iraq by giving land for lease, for example. However, the people who run this program act like it’s a bid for government contracts. “They sit there and meet investors with [a] ‘What do you have to offer me’ mentality, instead of ‘Here is what Iraq has to offer.’” Even when trying to create more accountability through a succinct tax system, there is an issue. “We have tax laws but most people don’t meet the minimum income bracket, so no one pays taxes. We need an efficient tax system to properly diversify our economy,” Hamra added. Militia groups challenging economy There are also militia groups, many backed and funded by Tehran, who are challenging the government’s effectiveness in implementing any needed reforms. “It is fair to point out that the current government has started with some initiatives to liberate the Iraqi economy from corruption and the dominance of the faction’s weapon, but so far the scene does not call for optimism at all,” said Ali Riyadh, an author of two poetry books and a protester who helped with media outreach to get the demonstrators’ voice heard abroad last year. Anger and pessimism prevail in Iraq. On Sunday, Nov. 1, protesters marched in the capital Baghdad and several southern cities to renew demands for an end to corruption by Iraq‘s political establishment. For Gunter, there is hope, especially when he recalled meeting a young man at a Baghdad tech startup incubator who ditched his government job to be an entrepreneur, one of many potential Iraqi youths eager to change a struggling country. 28. The Trade Bank Of Iraq TBI Takes A Step That Puts Banking Back On Years Of Business Last updated Nov 4, 2020 Al-Mustaqila .. In a strange step that takes banking in Iraq years back, the new director of the Iraqi Trade Bank, TBI, issued a directive not to use e-mail for the purpose of conducting bank transfer transactions and adopting express mail (DHL) exclusively. More than one dealer with the bank expressed their resentment over this step, which they described as unnecessary, and the feasibility of it is not known, especially as it impedes the financial transfer process for several days. For their part, banking experts expressed their surprise at the decision, which they described as taking us years back, indicating that banks in neighboring countries have reached the stage of completing all transactions via mobile phone applications at a time when Iraqi bank administrations act in a way that is not commensurate with customer service, which is the basis for dealing Banker. And questioned dealers with the bank the reasons for this step, which appears to be a support process for one of the courier companies operating in Iraq, calling for investigating the reasons behind this step. And they indicated that the process of sending requests via express mail requires 3-5 days, not to mention the days required by the process of transferring money to the bank branch, at a time when the matter via e-mail only requires a few hours, but it seems that the management of financial institutions intends to disrupt the work of citizens, which It reduces the confidence of dealers in Iraqi banks. Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi had issued an order appointing Salem Chalabi as director of the Iraqi Trade Bank, as part of a move to replace many officials in the financial centers, a matter that met with objections from many political blocs. It is noteworthy that scientific research confirms the importance of investing in banking services based on modern technology, and that the future of the bank does not depend only on customer service through branches distributed in various regions, but on the modern technological environment where the customer is accustomed to using various technical means in the banking world such as automatic teller machines. Talking bank, cellular bank, internet banks, point of sale and electronic money transfer tools have become the main channels for customer service.

The dog said, "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten years and I'll give you back the other ten?" And God saw it was good. On the second day, God created the monkey and said, "Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give you a twenty-year life span." The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like the dog did?" And God, again saw it was good. On the third day, God created the cow and said, "You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family. For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years." The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?" And God agreed it was good. On the fourth day, God created humans and said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. For this, I'll give you twenty years." But the human said, "Only twenty years? Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes eighty, okay?" "Okay," said God, "You asked for it." So that is why for our first twenty years, we eat, sleep, play and enjoy ourselves. For the next forty years, we slave in the sun to support our family. For the next ten years, we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren. And for the last ten years, we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone. Life has now been explained to you. There is no need to thank me for this valuable information. I'm doing it as a public service. If you are looking for me I will be on the front porch..
