  1. The available data confirm that the critical situation of the Iraqi economy needs the intervention of the central bank to face the new conditions and this requires the new government to believe in the independence of the central bank and not to interfere in the appointment of its leadership and technical and professional cadres during its interim period. - Calling in notes because of corona virus - Activation of electronic banking system - Sterilization process to limit the effect of inflows and outflows of capital on the money supply. - Customs regulations $10,000 allowed in an out of the country but 1,000,000 iqd is forbidden. 2. 3-5-2020 Newshound Guru MilitiaMan ...The CBI has not adjusted the money supply since November 2019.. imo... The more they get off the street the cheaper it may be in the end for them.. May support value to go along with it. Therefore, again I will say this, "The longer it takes, the more money we make." imo. So, that is my take on what may be the case. 3-5-2020 Newshound Guru Pimpy ...what the heck is going on in the dinar community? People running around panicking about all kinds of stuff. I've heard so much weird crap today...[Guru] Jeff is the only person who's still sticking to his guns. Jeff is saying that this thing is gonna happen between the end of March and sometime beginning of April...That's the way I felt about it [too] and there's no reason for me to change my mind...sometime between the end of March and the beginning of April... 3-5-2020 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [A continuing concern for me with this investment is that there are trillions of dinar in circulation internationally, and for an RV or RI to occur, at any value above about $.01, would seem to bankrupt Iraq, irrespective of its oil and other resources. ...I hope I'm missing something in this equation.] ...The Iraqi Dinar is a fiat currency, just like the US dollar, and logical rules utilizing responsible financial principals simply do not apply. For this reason alone, it simply does not need to make financial sense to RV. ...Iraq doesn't need a 1:1 reserve:cash ratio to have a 1:1 parity with the US dollar, or any other ratio to the dollar. The only thing that matters is "will it sell" - and, it will. This was taken from another site that follows Adam's Opinions and posts snippets from them. Most would die from the health issues they already have there are a lot of sick sick people in this world. I wouldn't put it pass those crazy dems. Guess they could blame Trump for not DOING ENOUGH then impeach him for that. What a sad place America is coming to. Bet he thinks about the millions he would save if they died cost a lot less to bury a person then. Guess he wouldn't have to worry about where to take them off the street then. Wonder what vile names they will call Trump. What a glorious day it would be for the citizens of Iran or any oppressed country if their leaders died, I pray all people could live in a country like ours,Trump 2020. What happens when his second term is up then??? GOD have mercy on us then!! for now Moxie64

  6. 3-6-2020 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [Q? : My concern is the massive price drop per Barrel of Oil? and it’s effect on the whole RV process.] This is a great question... I don't think "massive" is the correct term. "Significant" - definitely, but it's not "massive". Nonetheless - I would only be concerned if OIL was suddenly no longer in demand. Any dips or peaks in the price of oil are temporary until the global demand for oil is eliminated. While OIL is a necessary product in the global economy, the price can fluctuate all it wants - Iraq still has a majority of it, and they will be able to bank on that. If the entire world switched to solar overnight, then it would be "game over". Until that happens, I am not too concerned about the price of oil. The CBI has been so vocal that they have Nassiri and Salih are speaking of the Independence of the CBI from the GOI. What the CBI has accomplished all the while the GOI has been in turmoil and filled with Iranian backed corruption. The CBI has pumped along by making sure they kept inflation low during economic and security shocks that were abound. My view...is that they CBI having been successful during crisis, is now prepared to finish the reforms, give the demonstrators purchase power and in doing so they will create jobs with the re construction efforts. The need for the CBI to now finish is greater than ever...So, in the end my view is the focus is on the CBI and in short order.

  9. I look at this, and also how China treats its citizens, and I am so thankful that Trump really cares about his people and takes care them - even those who are in trouble and/or stuck in other countries. It defies belief that so many Americans think he's a Nazi and ruining the country. Luckily, it looks like many people are now thinking for themselves instead of just believing the outright lies that the alt left and media bark out constantly. I hope and pray the poor Iranians, and Iraqis, can bring in some more leaders who likewise really care about their people.

  11. Our economy, the government of voluntary absence and the independence of the central bank 05/03/2020 Banking advisor Samir Al-Nassery The central banks in the world are independent financial and sovereign institutions in the implementation of their tasks and monetary policies and outline their strategy to achieve their goals in supporting the national economy and promoting economic stability in a way that achieves the welfare of society. After 2003, the Central Bank of Iraq, in accordance with its Law 56 of 2004, followed in the footsteps of international banks, especially after the country passed the economic and financial crisis and security turmoil in 2014 for known reasons. His role was clear in supporting the national economy and achieving economic resilience and on the occasion of the statement of the Prime Minister of the resigned government to the President of the Republic and the House of Representatives and his declaration that he is going to voluntary absence and will not exercise his constitutional and legal powers due to the political reality that the country is going through now and the attractiveness of choosing a prime minister New to the new interim government after the Prime Minister-designate apologized. Going to voluntary absence and not forming a new government means that the 2020 budget will delay its approval and that its economic effects will harm the national economy and consequently will harm citizens and construction and investment will stop and it is expected that the planned deficit will rise to the limits of more than 50 trillion dinars with expectations of global oil prices falling to less than 50 dollars a barrel until the third quarter of this year due to the consequences of the Corona virus and slow growth in the global economy and this is certainly in the case of continued economic conditions in Iraq will lead to economic stagnation and then recession after several months and then we will return to square one Which it is suffering experienced by Iraq in 2015. And considering the essential role played by the central bank at the time when it addressed the economic and security shocks and supported the national economy and helped it withstand good governance and sound policies and applications of monetary policy with daily procedures and mechanisms. As the Central Bank of Iraq administration, its work team, and its cadres proved that they had a prominent role in promoting economic resilience and taking a steady step towards economic stability through wise and rational efforts and measures in the applications of monetary policy and development policies of the Central Bank in the difficult economic phase of Iraq, they were able to draw a clear roadmap for the goals And aspirations to achieve economic stability and stimulate economic growth through important achievements they achieved during the past five years, the most important of which is to maintain inflation by no more than 2% and a good level of adequacy of foreign reserves within Acceptable rates according to international standards, maintaining the stability of the exchange rate, stimulating the banking sector in an organizational, supervisory and supervisory manner, facing the current political crisis and conditions of popular mobility, and ensuring that the Iraqi banking sector is solid and able to withstand shocks compared to neighboring countries that have gone through the same conditions. 👉The available data confirm that the critical situation of the Iraqi economy needs the intervention of the central bank to face the new conditions and this requires the new government to believe in the independence of the central bank and not to interfere in the appointment of its leadership and technical and professional cadres during its interim period 👈 and until early elections and the coming of a new parliament and government come because the current administration It proved successful in the most difficult of circumstances and saved the national economy from collapse when the Minister of Finance announced in 2015 that the government would not be able to secure the salaries of employees and retirees. Because the focus is on the independence of the central bank and its distance from tensions and Political interests are the solution to overcoming economic crises and achieving economic stability.👈

  14. Battle For Iraq's Premiership: Iran-Backed Shi'ite Factions Seek To Marginalize Al-Sistani, Obstruct Appointment of Pro-U.S. Intelligence Chief Al-Kadhemi As PM, And Try To Reinstate Pro-Iran Abdul Mahdi March 3, 2020 Afraid that their grip on Iraq is loosening, the Iran-backed factions and politicians are attempting to marginalize all the powers in Iraq that could counterbalance Iran – including Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani – in order to secure a prime ministerial candidate who is loyal to Iran at any cost. Over the past few weeks, the Shi'ite militias have escalated the tone of their threats, warning their Sunni and Kurdish MPs that there will be serious consequences if they do not approve their prime ministerial nominee, Prime Minister-Designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi. The tone of these threats escalated following Allawi's failure to secure parliamentary approval for his cabinet, which gave Iraq's pro-U.S. president, Barham Saleh, the constitutional authority to push for his preferred candidate. This candidate, intelligence chief Mustafa Al-Khademi, views the Shi'ite militias as "outlaws." The recent episode of the Iraqi political impasse highlights once more the desperate attempt of the Iran-backed politicians and factions to outmaneuver President Barham Saleh' efforts to form a government not influenced by Iran, with the support of the Kurds, Sunnis and some independent Shiites. Exploiting Political Vacuum To Assign Pro-Iran PM On March 2, 2020, Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi announced his resignation after failing the previous day to obtain parliamentary approval for his cabinet. At the same time, the tenure of Adel Abdul Mahdi, who was caretaker prime minister after resigning because Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani had called for a new government, expired on March 2, as per the Iraqi constitution. To avoid a political vacuum, the constitution empowers President Braham Salih to act as head of the caretaker government and to name a new nominee for the premiership within 15 days. According to local reports, President Saleh is favoring Iraqi intelligence chief Mustafa Al-Kadhemi for the post. Al-Khadhemi is viewed by the Iran-backed militias as a U.S. ally who supports the restriction of weapons to state security agencies. To prevent President Saleh from nominating an anti-Iran candidate, Abdul Mahdi proposed, in a statement issued March 2, the appointment of one of his deputies, or of a minister, to head the caretaker cabinet. He further urged the parliament to call for an early election on December 4.[1] Earlier, in January 2020, Abdul Mahdi, then caretaker prime minister, had sought to reinstate himself as prime minister with the support of pro-Iran lawmakers, by demanding an end to the U.S. military presence. This attempt, however, failed.[2] Adel Abdul Mahdi's March 2 statement In support of Abdul Mahdi's move, the military spokesman of the Iran-backed Hizbullah Brigades, Abu Ali Al-Askari, tweeted on March 2 that Abdul Mahdi should remain in office and that Grand Ayatollah Ali Al-Sistani should backtrack from his earlier position that had led to Abdul Mahdi's resignation. Such a request is rarely made of a religious authority as significant as Al-Sistani – unless it is specifically aimed at undermining his status. Al-Askari's tweet stated: "It is better to stick with the resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdel-Mahdi and restore him to his natural place [so that he can] overcome what has not [yet] been overcome. The main obstacle preventing him [Mahdi] from reassuming his full responsibilities is Al-Murj'ayia's [Al-Sistani] advice, which was [the reason] behind his resignation. If this barrier is lifted, he will continue to carry out his mandate and fulfil his duties."[3] Al-Askari's March 2 tweet Al-Askari further accused Al-Kadhemi of helping the U.S. carry out the air strike that killed IRGC Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani and PMU deputy commander Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. He said that the Hizbullah Brigades would view an Al-Khademi nomination as "a declaration of war against the Iraqi people that will set ablaze what remains of Iraq's stability." Al-Kadhemi Fights Back Responding to Al-Askari's accusation, the Iraqi Intelligence Service issued a statement, on March 3, calling the Hizbullah Brigades an "outlaw" group that "threatens the civil peace" and seeks to "damage the reputation of Iraqi intelligence service chief Mustafa Al-Kadhemi." Iraqi intelligence chief Mustafa Al-Kadhemi (Source: Nrttv.com) The statement further stressed: "The Iraqi National Intelligence Service has the right to legally prosecute all those who exploit the freedom of opinion to promote false accusations that harm Iraq." It added that the service's responsibilities "are neither subject to political whims nor affected by false accusations."[4] [1] Twitter.com/abualiaalaskry, March 2, 2020. 29. Democrats seemed to hate Attorney General William Barr from day one. Perhaps it has something to do with his long record as an effective lawman — and his tireless devotion to the president. After refuting rumors that he is planning to step down after a slight tussle with the president over his tweets, it appears Barr is expanding his look into the DOJ’s antics into its handling of the Russia probe. Attorney Andrew Weissmann, who was considered to be the “pitbull” on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigative team, revealed in a recent interview that Barr has opened a new investigation. While speaking with NBC host Chuck Todd, Weissmann seemed very worried about the new investigation initiated by Barr involving U.S. Attorney in St. Louis Jeff Jensen investigating fired FBI officials James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok. Barr assigned an outside prosecutor to review the abusive case against General Michael Flynn. Barr also assigned a handful of prosecutors to review other cases in the U.S. Attorney’s office in DC. This apparently has Weissmann and other D.C. swamp creatures on edge. “All they did was swapped out a loser case for starting an investigation that is going to be of Comey, McCabe, Pete Strzok,” Weissmann told Todd. Weissmann’s comments are very interesting. After Barr assigns prosecutors outside of the D.C. swamp to review the case against Flynn, the man known by many of Mueller’s “pitbull” is trying to sound the alarm. According to Weissmann, these attorney generals are actually investigating men like McCabe, Comey, and Strzok — which has many cheering. Trump fired Comey in May 2017 when he was serving as the FBI director after his handling of the Russia investigation and decision not to prosecute Hillarious Clinton for her email scandal. The DOJ announced Friday that fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe will not be charged after the department’s inspector general said he lied to investigators about leaks to the media. Federal prosecutors were looking into McCabe possibly illegally leaking sensitive information to the media. Disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok was a key figure in the Russia investigation, and his anti-Trump bias was more than obvious. Strzok served as the No. 2 counterintelligence analyst at the FBI before being fired last year and let go from Mueller’s team after an internal probe found that he had sent hundreds of anti-Trump text messages to Lisa Page, a former lawyer at the FBI lawyer with whom he was having an affair. Strzok also sent countless salacious text messages smearing Trump, his supporters, and making a bevy of controversial comments implying he could take action to stop Trump from taking office. He called Trump supporters a bunch of ignorant hillbillies; spoke about an “insurance policy” in the case that Trump won the election; mentioned a “secret society” to unseat a duly elected president, and implied that he and others at the bureau would never let Trump be president. These three figures played a critical role in the Russia investigation into Trump, and Barr is getting to the bottom of it. And it appears the swamp is freaking out. https://conservativebrief.com/ag-barr-starting-new-probe-into-comey-mccabe-strzok-says-former-doj-official-andrew-weissman-20382/

  34. We had a nice little rally going and then it turned. This is why. Oil taking another hit https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Oil-Nosedives-As-OPEC-Fails-To-Strike-A-Deal.html Oil Nosedives As OPEC Fails To Strike A Deal By Tsvetana Paraskova - Mar 06, 2020, 9:39 AM CST Oil prices tumbled on Friday as OPEC and its Russia-led non-OPEC allies failed to agree on deeper cuts, Bloomberg and Reuters report. OPEC failed to agree on a deal, two OPEC sources told Reuters, while Bloomberg’s Jessica Summers tweetedthat “OPEC talks with allies end without a deal.” The OPEC Secretariat moments later Tweeted that the formal OPEC meeting had just begun, confusing markets as to what had actually transpired. At 9:20 a.m. EST on Friday, both WTI Crude and Brent Crude prices were tumbling by more than 7 percent, after the coronavirus outbreak unraveled the OPEC+ coalition that had tried to support and stabilize oil prices since the beginning of 2017. On Friday, Russia continued to refuse to back any deeper cuts from the OPEC+ coalition, as proposed by OPEC on Thursday. Yesterday, OPEC ministers met and recommended that the OPEC+ partners extend the current cuts through the end of 2020 and deepen those cuts by 1.5 million bpd in Q2 in response to the slump in demand due to the coronavirus outbreak. Later on Thursday, OPEC ministers met again and decided that the 1.5 million bpd additional cut should not be only for Q2 but for the rest of 2020 as well. Russia has taken this arm twisting not too well, and as its Energy Minister Alexander Novak returned to Vienna on Friday, he began bilateral consultations with several non-OPEC partners and with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman. The bilateral talks extended in the afternoon, and the OPEC+ meeting which was scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Vienna time was delayed with hours. Now it looks like the two most powerful producers at the table, Saudi Arabia for OPEC and Russia for non-OPEC, didn’t want to budge from their respective positions. Russia refused to cut deeper, while OPEC was signaling that it won’t cut without Russia on board. The ‘no-deal’ outcome of the meeting was the least likely scenario the market and analysts had expected, and oil prices tumbled to their lowest levels since mid-2017 as reports emerged that there will not be a deal this time around.

  36. Corona Virus Crush the Iranian leadership ... Denial and stupidity is the reason - 3 Hours Ago The "Washington Post" newspaper published a report for its reporters in Iran Cunningham and Dalton showed about the impact of the outbreak of the emerging Corona virus on the Iranian leadership, which was crushed under its control after data revealed that the virus spread more widely than the government. He said that the virus that had spread across Iran was a "flagrant blow" to the prominent Iranian leadership and government, and had infected a number of parliamentarians and 15 former and current officials, which was recognized by the government itself. Among the injured were the vice president, the vice minister of health, and an advisor to the judiciary. The virus struck the heart of power in Iran, killing a senior adviser, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution. After Iran became the second largest outpost of the virus in the world, Health Ministry spokesman Kianosh Jahanpur said on Wednesday that the death toll across the country had reached 92, and more than 3,000 had been infected. However, data obtained from a group of hospitals in Tehran suggest that the epidemic has spread on a broader basis than what the government has recognized. A number of hospitals in the capital, Tehran, reported 80 deaths from the Coruna virus, over a six-day period until Wednesday. Medical centers say that these numbers represent a small part of the number of injured in the capital. The data, which provided demographic information and explanations of the cases, showed that there is a 17% increase in deaths between Tuesday and Wednesday. The newspaper said that the information gathered from the hospitals and provided to her by the Iranian activist residing in Britain, Nariman Gharib, criticizing the government response to the spread of the epidemic and fears that the information will be hidden from public opinion. Based on information from Tehran, Ashley Tweet, an infectious disease researcher at the Dalla Lana Center for Public Health at the University of Toronto estimated that the new wave of the disease has reached 28,000 cases, adding that the numbers may increase. She said that the nurses with whom the newspaper contacted by phone in Tehran and Mashhad, in the northeast of the country, are constantly increasing cases, without the inclusion of prominent officials who have contracted the disease, including the infection that was diagnosed based on a tomography. The nurses and the five nurses with whom the newspaper contacted and confirmed their anonymity said that nurses in hospitals were prevented from wearing real masks so as not to cause panic among patients and that there was a lack of gloves, masks and other medical materials necessary to prevent the virus. The nurses described the shortage of nurses and medical staff who are being transported between hospitals to cope with the crisis. Aside from the effort by the Iranian authorities to reduce the risk of disease spread and refuse to quarantine, in the early days of the emergence of cases, it minimized it and encouraged citizens to participate in parliamentary elections and not to stop visiting religious scenes. According to Iranian officials, the first case appeared in Qom after a businessman made a trip to China. The case was announced on February 19, days before the elections. But the government asked citizens to participate in it, increase the number of voters, and enhance the credibility of the Iranian leadership. After the raid that killed General Qassem Soleimani in January, the government was criticized for its cover-up over the Revolutionary Guards shooting down a Ukrainian passenger plane, the same security forces that had beaten and suppressed demonstrators protesting a lack of basic materials and high fuel prices. Kamyar Alaei, a public health expert at Oxford University, said that Iranian officials did not want to "discourage residents from participating" and "reduce the seriousness of the disease, mislead people and give incorrect information to the health system." The result, he says, is that medical professionals "were not ready and a number of doctors, nurses, and nurses were injured because of their exposure to the virus." He added: "There was a clear mismanagement and the presentation of political interests on health concerns, which led to the spread of the epidemic." The Iranian health system is suffering from a bad situation due to the US economic sanctions that have limited the Iranian government's ability to purchase humanitarian supplies. International banks afraid of US sanctions usually refuse to make contracts with Iranian financial institutions even if the purchases relate to medicines and medical supplies. The World Health Organization this week sent a team of experts and shipments of medicines and medical equipment to screen 100,000 Iranian citizens. The authorities moved to contain the disease by closing theaters and cinemas, preventing visits to religious scenes and calling on residents to avoid public gatherings and stay in homes. However, the harsh health measures came too late to prevent the virus from spreading to almost every province in the country. Experts say that the close ties between Qom, the spiritual center and political leadership in Tehran contributed to the spread of the epidemic among officials and clerics travel regularly between Qom and the capital, and some officials were injured in government meetings and even in parliament. Disease experts pointed to peace by shaking hands and kissing contributing to the spread of the disease. Iranian leaders may have thought they would not be infected and have failed to warn citizens, Allai says. "I think the state of denial and stupidity, along with kissing three times among men, has affected a large number of political officials in Iran," commented David Wiesman of the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Toronto. According to hospital figures, five former and subsequent officials, including two vice presidents, two counselors and a former ambassador, have been admitted to the Masih Danashvari Hospital, which is part of the Lung and Tuberculosis Research Institute. Among them were Muhammad Mir Mohammadi, the prominent advisor to the Supreme Leader and Hadi Khrushshahi, the former ambassador to the Vatican and registered as having died. On Tuesday, the Iranian press reported the death of an adviser to Ibrahim Raisi, a former presidential candidate and head of the judiciary. She said Ahmed Tweserkani was being treated at a Revolutionary Guard hospital. Arab Jerusalem link

Mmmm, the Donald has a lot of support and a lot of it is because the Dems are acting like a bunch of ***********s. Americans know what’s up and they know who is fighting for them. It’s going to be very ugly come November for Dems.

  41. Ok folks another bad day in the market but this is exactly what a market does when conditions change. Today traders got spooked by the 10 year treasury yield that dipped under 1. For savvy traders that was a tell that the market may be in for some tough days ahead. Once a few big Funds sell they all jump in and follow. Truth is an algo probably picked up on the 10 year premarket and it got ugly in a hurry. The thing that makes trading the market so difficult is the changing conditions, super fast algo reading programs and so many people invested in ETF’s. When the news and market conditions change the pricing needs to change. Yes, in times of crisis like we are in now market conditions change quickly. This week we have had a proliferation of many new CV cases, a Fed rate cut, and a change in the Democratic Nomination players. One was very good news but 2 were not so good. The market has to figure it out and it does that by the wild swings as the weak hands (fearful) folks sell and their shares are bought by folks who have a longer time horizon of holding the investment. I’ve seen this process played out numerous times in the last 20 plus years. I wish I had bought more Google in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2018. Strong hands will buy those great companies ON SALE during these kind of sell offs. I almost bought a handful off my buy list yesterday but chickened out and went with 2 gold plays.. For me I just don’t think we have found a trade-able bottom. When I see it I can assure you I will load up like a big boy. Here is what I see and some real hard lines for you to watch in the coming days. 1. Tomorrow watch for a dip to 2977ish and hopefully a bounce to close over the 200 ema 2. Keep watching the 2855-56 support line. This was last Friday’s low and current support in this down turn 3. Keep watching for the 50 ema to see if it crosses the 100 ema first and then the 200 ema. This could take a few days or even weeks if the news settles down some. 4. If the 2855 support gets breached next support will be 2725 and then 2625 ish. 5. If we get past all those supports the news will NOT be good and next support is 2346, the Dec 2018 lows. That will be a 1000 plus haircut off the S&P recent highs and a 30% drop. This is all very basic and if you want a more in depth explanation of the market using Technical Analyisis go to Twitter, there are 100’s of geniuses ready to confuse you after they make you pay 1000’s of dollars Trust me I don’t only use TA. I’m reading, listening, and talking to other traders to get my views. Bottom line watch those support lines above, know we are n a volatile environment with news changing by the minute, it’s not the end of the world, the market is orderly and looking for a bottom, but WATCH THE NEWS. The Market runs on fear and greed and there is a lot of fear with this CV. Get those buy lists ready. News isn’t always bad so prepare now while you have the opportunity.

  42. Your scenario for the Dems ignore the fact that Trump has proven he did not do anything wrong. Bidens on the other hand have recordings and a paper trail that say otherwise. You are joking about Biden being a threat, right?
