  1. I'm not sure what section this would be in but I hope those of you who have seen me here seldom, will understand that I seek knowledge and truth. I had posted a similar post and can't locate it. I have been watching this for over three years now. To some of you that is a short time. This is what I have noticed. Over the course of time the "gurus" have announced the end or RV / RD is near... No, I mean very near! Yet, you can always wait and the time passes and there is a new date set or new reason to believe. My logic dictates that this will be a lucrative investment. Iraq is in a position for growth and potential in spectacular form, but when? We won't know until that time and they are never going to reveal it, period! So here is my other take. The news from gurus is based on spun notions to keep the momentum going. Why? I bet many are dealers. Our frenzy and hopes of-course will be shared and those we share with will share and so on... No bank teller or friend knows a thing. They didn't ring true 3 years ago, they won't today or tomorrow. Eventually Okie will be right... His odds are so bad but one thing he has is time... Eventually it will hit. Then he will say see I told you. Just check out his past record. No, in fact check them all out. There are those of us who challenge one another on terms or rates etc. that is healthy in my book. We discuss politics and ideas and articles and try to decode what is being said. I personally have learned a lot and had fun here with all of that. I respect those who use logic and reality and what they find and express. Yet, for me these gurus are mostly playing us for profit. If I am wrong I am humbled and apologize, but I doubt I am. The change in currency is logically needed and would be an amazing event mostly for Iraq and the Middle East. I certainly wait for this incredible news. Currency dealer gurus who post false hope should be ashamed and I have no empathy or good will for them... I feel selling under false pretense is stealing. All IMHO. Ready for your comments and even (-)... If you disagree. Please keep it real and peace. Sincerely.

  2. After the release from Ch 7, we witnessed an amazing flood of news articles coming out of Iraq about everything under the sun!! Ranging from the Sanctions themselves being lifted, to the lifting of the zeros and all that they have planned to do with the economy!!! That was all great although to date...we have not seen any true movement. I have been watching, and is it just me...or has the news really slowed down?!! Dont get me wrong, we are seeing a few articles here and there...but nothing really of much substance!! To me...this is exciting!! I always suspect that when we see things slow down...and all of the hype stops...then we should really begin to pay attention...because something GOOD is about to take place!! Maybe its nothing, but after a bombardment of such informative news..full of rates, plans, laws that were to be passed, etc... For things to come to such a sudden slow down really caught my attention!!! I remain convinced that our "SUDDENLY" is about to manifest itself!! I know its Ramadan, and there are many different views concerning whether or not we will see a major increase prior to the end of the Holiday, or will they wait for the Holiday to complete....and then go for broke? Thats the reason for this thread, I just wanted to get an idea of what each of you believe, or think about all of this. I know that we all ultimatley desire the same outcome...and as I have stated many times, I have absolutley no doubt whatsoever we will receive exactly what we want....actually MORE! So, while there isnt a whole load of news coming at us right now, take a minute if you like and share your thoughts...truly where you believe things are at. Try to do your best to leave emotions out of the equasion, and using the knowledge you have gained from reading, hearing, watching, etc...give your best theory about this crazy ride that we are all in together!!! Thanks in advance for your input!! I look forward to reading, and learning from each and every one of your responses!! Remember, stand in faith...KNOW that we are on course to receive the greatest blessing we could have ever even imagined!!! God Bless each of you..and your families!! Tony.

  6. Please everyone. According to snopes, this is a political satire site and does not report true facts. In other words, this did not happen. http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/microchip.asp Update: A 28 July 2013 article about implanted microchips being "given a test run on the proud and patriotic citizens of Hanna, Wyoming" was mistaken by many readers for a genuine news story. However, that article was just a bit of political satire from the National Report, a web site that publishes outrageous fictional stories such as "IRS Plans to Target Leprechauns Next," "Boy Scouts Announce Boobs Merit Badge," and "New CDC Study Indicates Pets of *** Couples Worse at Sports, Better at Fashion Than Pets of Straight Couples." This administration and health care law is bad enough on its own - we don't need to make stuff up!

  7. As an independant I think it would be good to just address this from a neutral perspective. It's true that in general liberals are more educated than conservatives, but if you consider all of the data you'll find out that while on the higher end there are more people with graduate degrees who vote Democrat than Republican, on the lower end of the spectrum Democrats are also less educated. In other words more of the less educated conservatives have a high school diploma or some college than the less educated liberals. That means that NASCAR fan Billy Bob is more likely to finish high school than hip hop fan Tyrone. More business majors vote Republican. More liberal arts majors vote Democrat. More accountants, physicians, dentists, business managers, scientists ...etc. vote Republican while more artists, professors, lawyers, social workers, journalists, authors ... etc. vote Democrat. Both sides can point to studies that promote their agenda and make their perspective appear superior, but there is little hard, neutral data to go on. You can find great intellectuals on both sides as well as a few idiots. Both sides have a base driven by those in the clergy. Both sides have their share of millionaires although more people who earn over $100,000/yr are Republicans according to a CNN exit poll. I think it's best to just debate politics on the issues and leave the mud slinging and insults out of it. Neither side can realistically claim the moral or intellectual high ground. When you engage in these type of discussions you tend to overlook the fact that both sides are selling us out.

  8. I question that last part...to adopt an exchange rate to previous years! What does this part mean? We know that in the past they have had an exchange rate of around $3.33. They really confuse me at times!! First its $1.16.....then we have seen statements in other article that clearly state returning to $3.33. Ive said it before...and I'll say it again...SMOKE SMOKE SMOKE!!! They have the plan in hand...and in one sentence they say that the citizens need to be educated..which is smart, but is it true? Are they truly going to educate the citizens beforehand? Kuwait didnt!! They simply put signs on the front of the bank explaining the what was going on, and also showing serial numbers of notes that were no good...but other than that they just allowed the people to come in and exchange 1 to 1. I tend to ignore most of this nosense! It is a ploy to make us think they are gonna do nothing until 2016 (at least in this article it is..in others we have seen different dates) , when in reality...it coming..and its coming quickly! I dont believe for a second that they will put it off (and I also dont think that other players are going to allow it either)..especially with elections coming. Would M as well as the others that stand in a position to gain additional time in office want to put off something that would ultimatley make the people a whole lot more inclined to vote for them? I dont think so, but this is my opinion. Im not an Iraqi..and no matter how hard I may try, I dont know how to think like an Iraqi citizen. I like the fact that we are actually seeing numbers now. And in a lot of cases...they arent the small numbers that many are speculating that we will see. I think that it shows that those of us who are looking for an RI or greater as opposed to an RV, are not that far off base! Time will tell..and while we wait, its great to have our group here...to share ideas, stories, etc! One thing Im grateful for is that when all is said and done...not only will we have made a very nice profit...but we have learned a great deal, and made a lot of new friends!! Dont forget paitence either...that is one thing that a whole lot of folks dont have..but after many years on this ride...we will all deserve a diploma showing we have graduated with a masters degree in Paitence!!! LOL!!! For all of those who are suffering financially...I pray that this comes quickly!! And I truly believe what I posted above...IT WILL!!! Be Blessed!

  9. If Iraq was attacking another country they would go back into chapter 7. What I see this is a spill over from Syria, Egypt, Libya and so forth. If Maliki had not been playing his games, and completed the goi, built the electricity plants needed, worked on the restructure of Iraq it seems to me Iraq would be much harder to infiltrate with these rebel groups. A people who sees their country as prosperous and full of hope is not likely to fall into the hands of these terrorist groups. More than likely they would fight to keep the walls of Iraq standing. Too many young Iraqi's are unemployed, too much time on their hands and anger simmering in their hearts. Their only hope lies in the leaders. Stop the bickering amongst themselves and start shoveling out some hope for the people.

  11. Stryker WebTV Announcement … I and the Stryker Force Team are proud to announce that Stryker WebTV now has a new member that will be reporting news and information from just 23 miles outside Kuwaiti City. His name is SSO_Scoopy and I have spent about two hours this morning with him via Instant Messaging and Skype making sure we are on the same page. “Real Facts about Iraq and the Iraqi Dinar” He will report real facts as best that he can, he has two translators that help him understand the mindset of the Kuwaiti people themselves. Through local media in Kuwait and surrounding countries he will help us understand Maliki, Maliki’s government and other news they get from just across the Kuwaiti border. This will give us all a much better understanding of what Kuwaitis and other Iraqi bordering countries and their people think about Iraq, the Iraqi politicians and the Iraq people themselves. He has worked in Kuwait as a contractor for over 7 years now and he, like myself, is only after the facts. So Kool-Aid drinkers should just stay away because we are not going to report anything except the truth, good or bad. This is not about hyping the dinar but about real facts from real people in the Middle East. He has already given me a better understanding of what it is like, at a much closer viewpoint than we have here in the states. Why Maliki has the tanks that Iraq bought from the US but also why Maliki can’t use these tanks to their full potential, he will share more of that with you if he wants too. All I can say right now is that I have a much better understanding why Maliki is cooperating more now than he was a few months back. We are going to be doing a series of tests this week to make sure we can pull this off with the best stream that my technology can handle. He will be joining me on my live broadcast by the way of Skype so everyone can see him and hear him from over 7500 miles away from the States. Will you hear dates and rates, NO, if that is what you want there is no need in watching our pod cast. But if you are tired of that hype, false information and the guru rollercoaster that is associated with that type of ride, by all means, join us for the real facts. If all goes well this week then he will join me this Saturday August 3rd for a very Special Webcast of Stryker WebTV and you never know, we could just get one done before then. We are real excited in expanding the Stryker WebTV news by adding even more reporting from right there in Iraq as well, so please stay tuned as Stryker WebTV strives for the best. Have a great day.

  12. This has nothing to do with national security they are using this as an excuse. This has been coming for years and it has been voted down thrown out and remained in the dark shadows for over 15 years. Just ask your self why does the govt need to track you and know everything about you. It goes way beyond anything they can use as an excuse. This is wrong, this has a dark intentions in it. People better beware.

  13. CNN. Broadcasting A Brand New Thread On Monday July 29th - As Opposed To The Half Dozen Old Threads That SandStorm Kicked Up In The Rumor Section Earlier Today ! ALAN: Ok, well first off I had no idea that what I described was refered to as a LOP.. I dont even know what it stands for.. But I guess i gave the definition and didnt realize it... I have been in this for about 2 years but only really in the past few months started educating myself and the LOP hasent been in my vocabulary.. 14. If you want to use a scientific study , research who is conducting it,(where they got thier education/political leanings) and thier backers.(who's paying for said study ,because they will influence the outcome) Just because some one has colledge education , dosn't make them intelligent. It just means they can parrot some lib prof. who teaches what they believe, not what is always true. They learn some one elses truth. I can sight a study that colledge grads know less about civics (goverment) than the average high school grad. by 50%. (princeton topped out at 38% the average high school grad got a 81%) So by that I can conclude that most people with colledge degrees that vote democrat , are indoctronated zombies.(some are even dead) And racial tollerance is not somthing exibited by the left (NAACP, la Raza , CAIR ,Robert Byrd etc.) Libs are always quick to point fingers but will never take responsibility for thier actions. (its soceitys fault) Conservatives are more about what works and smaller goverment , not behavior control and goverment programs.

It came to be recognized as being the bastion of freedom, the home of liberty, and the land of opportunity. Immigrants from all parts of the globe immigrated to the U.S.A. in order to realize the American Dream. Its core was the understanding that all people are entitled to the fruits of their labor and that the government has no authority to confiscate the property (earnings) of its people without their consent. The reason for its immediate growth is the fact that it was built on Biblical principles. Its growth and success was based on faith and belief that the Almighty Creator, and not a government, is our Provider. Its foundation was the implementation of sound money to be used with honest weights and measures in a Free Market economic system. Unfortunately, in its second hundred years, certain powerful forces gained control of the government and took measures to extend that control to the monetary system and all other aspects of our lives, and promoted the false concept that people should expect their government to take care of them, thereby making the people subservient to the government. Efforts were put forth to usurp power and authority from the people and the states and give it to the Federal government. So too, confiscatory taxes were enacted that served to slow down and stifle the economy and cause an increasingly greater number of its people to become dependent upon it. The land of opportunity was slowly but steadily transformed into the land of entitlements. We have now come to the point as a nation whereby the private sector is no longer capable of supporting the public sector. Government debt has grown astronomically to levels which render it incapable of ever satisfying them. Yet to placate its creditor masters, the government is striving to increase taxes even more even though that measure will further discourage economic growth and exacerbate our national debt crisis. Simultaneously, in order to control the potentially hostile masses and under the banner of national security rights, liberties have been denied through egregious legislation by a legislative body that had no authority. Then worse of all, the government is getting increasingly hostile to its people. Americans have come to realize that their elected officials no longer care what they have to say or the officials are not moved by our complaints. Background to Current Situation Congress enacted the Act of 1871, which President Ulysses S. Grant signed into law. This Act created the corporate UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (all capital letters) with which to govern Washington DC. This new corporate entity then enticed the states to likewise incorporate. Michigan, a Free and Independent state, as an example, became the corporate State of Michigan. Next, they took steps to turn the sovereign people of the states into citizens of this imposter government. Having done so, our nation ceased to be a Biblical Constitutional Republic. Since then, elected officials have been serving their international employers rather than the people who elected them. We the People, however, are of the understanding and belief that we live in and are being governed by the united States Republic. This is demonstrated by the Pledge of Allegiance that is regularly recited as follows: "We pledge allegiance to the flag of the united States of America and to the Republic for which it stands . . .” [Emphasis added] We do not pledge allegiance to the “corporation for which it stands”, but rather to the Republic. The fact of the matter is that we did not expatriate ourselves from the Republic in order to join the corporate, de facto government. Rather, the government has been using unlawful tactics to draw “We The People” under their control. The tactics are centered on the use of Marriage Licenses, Birth Certificates, Drivers Licenses, Bank Accounts, and Social Security as a result of the 14thAmendment. All contain adhesion contracts. Having acquired any or all of these adhesions we unknowingly give the government authority over us. For example, marriage licenses make the government a third party to marriages and give it ownership of the children produced by the unions. They also make users liable for the Income Tax that otherwise would pertain to only the people of Washington DC. Then, furthermore, they give the states the right to demand licenses to travel and operate businesses. All of these things have served to systematically deprive We the people of our natural rights and subject us to power- mongering governmental authorities. Again, “We The People” did not leave nor did we ever attempt to leave or expatriate ourselves from the Constitutional Republic. To our surprise and dismay we find that it was hijacked from us by elected officials who converted it to a corporation owned by foreigners. Now that we are aware of the truth, it is our right and our duty to restore our land to its lawful status. To do this we do not have to resort to revolution, riot, or military coup. Instead, the strategy is to accomplish the objective by relying exclusively on the truth and the pen. Assuming Power Again, America was restored not by revolution, riot, or military coup, but rather by conveying the truth to the people via word of mouth and the pen. We are not enemies of the corporate government and we are taking no actions to bring it down. In fact, we understand the difficulties it faces and pray for the Lord to bless all who hold office. However, like everyone else, we see that the corporate government is all but officially bankrupt and insolvent. As such, it is losing influence throughout the world as well as the confidence of its citizens. With the other countries no longer wanting to acquire more of its debt, the corporate government is increasingly becoming incapable of meeting its financial obligations. When that happens, the dollar will rapidly drop in value and we are seeing this with China, Russia and other countries dropping the dollar. With our government prepared and in place, we will be there to assist in the transition, not only will chaos throughout the country will be averted, and a period of renewed prosperity will begin almost instantly. The only thing that can stop “We The People” from fully re-inhabiting our constitutional republic is the lack of courage and conviction to take back what is rightfully ours. 21. ididitfirst, I know the beginning of this thread may have been confusing to some readers. In 2011, we/DV was so lucky to have IQDheadlines who could interpret these articles. I brought forth a comment he made toward this particular deletion of the three zeros article, from this thread. : http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/96953-proofdelete-zeros-will-take-only-two-years/#ixzz2aR8YK2p1. I wish he were still with us and could interpret more for us, but I'm sure he got tired of the bashing (read the origonal thread). Anyway, the End game for all os us, is a test of faith, and knowledge. Now on the lighter side, as much time as I have spent studying these articles, I should be reading and speaking Arabic fluently by now. Truly the point of bringing this article forward was to bring forth the knowledge that not everything we read is as the Google or Bing interpret.

  22. This is my opinion, first Christianity is not a religion, it is a faith based belief in Jesus Christ. Religions have thrown more caused more brutal wars in the history of this world than any more form of battle. Each side believing that God will see them through and they will fight until the end if necessary. Now I have seen many posts on here that borderline opinions of misunderstandings and with each new batch of new people those misunderstandings keep growing. Non believers have a right and a choice to not believe in God or Jesus or Christianity therefore it seems as the world pushes on each day, people are changing their attitudes toward one another is changing. Why is it that a person who is a Christian can live beside someone who is a non believer in peace but a non believer wants to wants to stomp all over one who goes to church, one who is there to help when needed, one who loves and shares the goodness of God to one who wants to hear it but stops if they don't. Why is it that a non believer which is basically an Atheist by title can't live and let live. Take a look at Santanio Texas, the whole city council down there is trying to make it where a person that is faith based can't work for the city govt or anything to do with contraction with the city. Now really is this right. Isn't this forcefully overstepping your boundaries a bit. Satan the father of all lies is pushing this world to condemn as many as he can before time draws to a close and it is doing just that. Man is quickly hastening his eternal destiny by his actions. Is it getting to the point where a non Christian and a Christian can't live side by side without being condemned, looks like it. These are the end times my friend, and I might add I am not worried because I know whom I have believed will take care of my destiny. Narrow is the way to heaven and broad is the gate that leads to destruction and many will go there in. It is a person's own decisions that will decide his eternal fate. Maybe you don't like being preached to, it burns your mind because deep down inside you know there is something not right. Maybe you like your choices and feel comfortable with them for now anyway, but one day that right is going to be taken away from you and all of us.....ALL of us is going to stand before Jesus and give an account of our lives. Maybe you didn't know that, or maybe you didn't know that four mouths will be sealed shut, no excuses will be offered by us. He will be the one that will thunder his voice at you and decide where you are going to spend your eternity. A lot of people believe that there is no life after death here....but you are sadly mistaken, that's where the sweet life begins at least for the ones who is going to heaven. Really is whish all who reads this would take a second to think about this and ask God if all is well with him. Your eternal happiness will depend on it. I know I have offended some on here by these words, but I say this take it up with God because I am doing what he wants me to do.

  23. I believe a very important difference between Liberals and Conservatives is the way that they care for others. Hillarious Clinton was the one I believe that coined the phrase, "It takes a village to raise a child". That seems to be a prevalant opinion in the liberal ranks. The Liberal mindset is to let the government provide the finances to support those less fortunate. I believe most conservatives would rather help out their fellow citizens from their own personal finaces than to have a government program do it. That is why conservative minded people tend to donate more money to charity. Even the liberal leadership shows a perfect example of how tight they are with their own personal money, but are happy to spend taxpayer monies no problem. Hame, you seem to be a pretty big supporter of institutions of higher learning and thats just fine, but that doesn't make you or any other person who has a higher education degree a better person than anyone else. I absolutely hate the attitude of people who think that they are more superior than others just because they went to college. Get over yourself! You stil put your big boy pants on just like everyone else. This whole back and forth about your a stupid conservative etc....Well your a stupid liberal etc....is immature and childish. Even with the smart man words with multiple syllables you still show yourself immature.

  26. Nice posting. I hope your right. Iraq has a long way to go but, they do have wealth underground to make things happen. Providing they are able to organize themselves, reduce the level of violence and corruption - its a go. A reval would help to improve their infrastructure by providing a working currency to move projects and investments.

  30. This is nice..Thanks! Sounds like CBI doesn't much like the report concerning their finances and their ability (or maturity if you will) to handle and maintain money in these accounts. A call for them to be even more transparent!! How many times have we heard others asking for the same thing?!? "Show us your money, Mr. Gov of CBI...what does Iraq truly have left? How much have you boys "lost" (cough, cough) during the last year or two? LOL!! We know good and well who has their hand in the cookie jar over there! The sad thing is..nobody know how many? And what about that 10 tons of gold? Where did it magically appear from? And the wonder why foreign investors are beating the door down to give them their money!!! I believe this puts a look of shame on the face of all involved, and therefore can be a fantastic thing for us and the Iraqi people! With their mentality, who knows what they might do to prove that they are in control of the economy!! JMHO! God Bless each of you!

  31. This is just more evidence of something going on in the monetary system in Iraq. Now, ALL branches of Rasheed and Rafidian banks will be in the currency exchange business. Excellent! This will not only push out the street vendors, it will obviously facilitate the "deleting the 3 zeros" project.

We've heard the words that this would be the best Ramadan ever, etc. Maliki and company seem to be scrambling and grasping at any straws they can so he can retain his power. That appears by all accounts to be on it's way out ( I hope so anyway) So that brings me to the point of this post. How many of you out there are getting a nice warm fuzzy feeling about things coming to a head in August? Come on..spill it...you know you want to say something.

  42. How gold prices got here, plus a roadmap for QE tapering ahead... THE VALUE of gold has fluctuated wildly over the past few years. After rallying for 12 straight years, the yellow metal has tumbled as much as 38% from its all-time high of $1923 per ounce reached in August 2011. Gold prices officially fell into the quagmire of a bear market on April 12th, and even central bankers were caught off guard. Central banks were net buyers of 535 tonnes of gold last year – the most they've ever accumulated in any single year. Today, the central banks are among the biggest losers as gold prices fall, holding 31,700 tonnes as a group, or roughly 19% of all the gold ever mined. No one has more to lose from gold's slump than miners in South Africa, where the break-even costs are the highest in the world. Anything below $1400 per ounce is a red flag for South African gold miners. Costs are steeper than competitors abroad because of the extra labor that's needed to dig deeper into its aging mines. Globally, gold-mining companies are moving to include capital expenditure in their per-ounce cost figures. Sibanye, South Africa's second-largest gold miner by output, has total costs including production and capex of $1334 per ounce. Costs at Harmony, the country's third-largest producer, are $1487 per ounce. AngloGold, the country's largest gold miner, was the only South African bullion producer whose costs in the nation of $1204 an ounce were below the current spot gold price. Even the world's biggest gold miner – Barrick Gold (ABX.TO) – is at risk of defaulting on its longer-term debt obligations if the price of the yellow metal falls significantly lower. Shares in Barrick have lost about $40 billion in market value since April 2011. After gold prices fell below $1400 per ounce in April '13, the yield to maturity on Barrick's 6.35% note due in Oct 2036, soared to as high as 7.85%. The cost to insure $10 million of ABX's debt in the credit default swap market jumped to as high as $344,000 on July 5th. Moody's and S&P rate Barrick's debt at Baa2 and BBB respectively, but its long-term debt trades in-line with junk bonds. The problem plaguing Barrick is that three acquisitions in the last five years for a total cost of $8.4 billion increased its debt load to $16 billion today, the most among gold miners worldwide. In April, ABX said it expects "all-in sustaining costs" including output and capex costs to be between $950 and $1050 per ounce. But after ABX burned through $1.2 billion of cash in the 12-months through March, it could be forced to slash its $800 million annual dividend in order to preserve cash on hand, if gold falls much further. Asked about the price of gold, which is down about 23% this year, the chief of the Federal Reserve, Ben Bernanke also admitted on July 17th that he doesn't understand the yellow metal. "No one really understands gold prices," Bernanke told the Senate Banking Committee, adding he doesn't get it either. Calling it "an unusual asset," the Fed chief said that investors hold gold for "disaster insurance" and as an inflation hedge. He expressed surprise about the latter, noting "movements in gold don't predict inflation very well." Bernanke took some solace in the recent sharp decline in gold prices, though, suggesting they could reflect diminishing concerns over really bad outcomes. Gold has a multi-faceted personality, but nowadays, its behavior is mostly influenced by the direction of 10-year US Treasury notes. Spooked by the increasing likelihood that the Bernanke Fed will begin to "taper" down its $85 billion per month of liquidity injections into the money markets, the price of gold has nosedived, alongside what appears to be the early stages of a bursting of the US T-Note bubble. Lower T-note prices – and higher interest rates – are sending a clear signal to the marketplace that the Fed is seriously entertaining the idea of winding down in radical "quantitative easing" QE, money printing scheme. The top central bankers and finance chiefs from the Group-of-20 nations, huddled in Moscow on July 19th, heard behind closed doors that the Fed intends to down-size its purchases of bonds, probably starting in September. "Unconventional monetary policies that were decided by the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, and the Bank of Japan have consequences on capital flows. The unwinding of these policies needs to be phased outcarefully," said IMF managing director Christine Lagarde. "The current turbulence in global financial markets could continue and deepen," the IMF chief warned at July's G20 meeting in Moscow. "Growth could be lower than projected due to a protracted period of stagnation in the Euro area, and risks of a longer slowdown in Emerging markets have increased. The eventual exit from low rates and unconventional monetary policy in advanced economies could pose challenges for emerging economies, especially if it proceeds too fast or is not well communicated." However, it wasBank of Japan chief Haruhiko Kuroda who let the cat out of the bag, with the most explicit signal yet of the Fed's next move on QE. "An eventual tapering of monetary stimulus by the Federal Reserve would be natural and appropriate," he said on July 19th. The partial unwinding of the Fed's radical QE scheme has been telegraphed to the marketplace during the past two months through a series of leaks and hints to the media. The most influential and powerful voice comes from the Bank for International Settlements. On June 23rd, the BIS said that G7 central banks should not allow fears of disrupting markets to delay the timely withdrawal of cheap money. The BIS anticipated that signaling anexit might cause market disruptions but warned that the risks fromdelaying was likely to rise over time. "Central banks will need to strike the right balance between the risks of exiting prematurely and the risksassociated with delaying exit further. The longer the current accommodative conditions persist, the bigger the exit challenges become." Former Fed chief Alan Greenspan used to be famous for keeping his listeners in the dark about the central bank's future plans. "I guess I should warn you. If I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said," he used to say. So it was shocking to hear Mr Greenspan tell the viewers of CNBC on June 7th, in crystal clear terms, that the Fed must begin to taper its QE scheme, even if the US economy is not ready for it. "The sooner we come to grips with this excessive level of assets on the balance sheet of the Federal Reserve – that everybody agrees is excessive – the better," he said in a Squawk Box interview. "There is a general presumption that we can wait indefinitely and make judgments on when we're going to move. I'm not sure the market will allow us to do that. But if the Fed moves too quickly in reining in its accommodative policies, it could shock the market, which is already dealing with a very large element of uncertainty. I'm not sure the markets will allow an easy exit. Gradual is adequate, but we've got to get moving." As for the Fed's Zero Interest Rate Policy (ZIRP), Greenspan said it's buoying stock prices, but the markets need to be prepared for a faster-than-expected rise in long-term interest rates. "Bond prices have got to fall. Long-term rates have got to rise. The problem, which is going to confront us, is we haven't a clue as to how rapidly that's going to happen. And we must be prepared for a much more rapid rise than is now contemplated in the general economic outlook. "We're still well below the interest rate level we normally ought to be at this stage. The consequence of that is that when the bond market begins to move we may not be able to control it as well as we'd like to. And that has a lot of ramifications with respect to all sorts of markets." Greenspan's comments knocked the gold market $30 per ounce lower on June 7th to $1383 per ounce, but bigger carnage began two weeks later, on June 20th, when Fed chief Bernanke hinted at a timetable for unwinding QE3. The upward surge in US Treasury yields isn't the only factor that's undermining gold prices. Long-term interest rates in Britain, Canada, and Hong Kong have increased by +1% or more in lockstep. Corporate and sovereign bond yields in the emerging nations of Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa have surged between 125 basis points and 250 bps higher in recent weeks. This synchronized increase in bond yields across the globe has caused many investors to lose faith in gold as a store of value. As investors dumped ETFs that are backed by gold bullion, fund managers were forced to sell 13.6 million ounces since April 1st. That represents about $58 billion in market value. Some investors switched tactics, by plowing the proceeds into stock market indexes, with the best performers in Britain, Germany, Japan, and the US. Now, according to the Wall Street Journal's Jon Hilsenrath on May 10th, "Fed officials say they plan to reduce the amount of bonds they buy in careful and potentially halting steps, varying their purchases as their confidence about the job market and inflation evolves." "I don't want to go from wild turkey to cold turkey," Dallas Fed chief Richard Fisher told the WSJ. Withdrawing the QE3 stimulus would be combined with promises by the Fed to keep the fed funds rate locked at near zero percent into 2015. "Jawboning" techniques would also be utilized to influence trader psychology at key price levels on the T-bond charts. Still, US T-note yields have already built in expectations of a $20 billion cutback in the Fed's QE3 scheme at the upcoming Sept 18th meeting. Until then, 10-year Treasury bond yields could gyrate within a tight range between 2.45% and 2.75%. Likewise, British Gilt and Canadian government bond yields are expected to continue to track the US T-note yield, although their rates are priced about 25 bps less. If the recent past is any guide to the near term future, gold prices would still be hounded by fear of yet another jolt in T-note yields into a higher plane of equilibrium, up to between 3% and 3.50%. In order to knock the gold price towards $1250 per ounce, it might require a second round of tapering of QE3 to $45 billion per month. Given the shrinkage in the US budget deficit, expected at $660 billion this fiscal year, the Fed has the leeway to reduce the size of its monthly purchases of T-bonds. If correct, the Global Money Trends newsletter suspects that Fed chief Bernanke would move to taper down the QE injections to $65 billion per month in September, and to $45bn at the next meeting in December. At the behest of the BIS, the Fed might downsize QE3 to $45 billion, even if it becomes increasingly apparent that the US economy is sliding into a mild recession. Still, the next Fed chief would be appointed in January 2014 by liberal Democrats, who are QE lovers. Therefore, the next Fed chief might placate his/her political masters by stonewalling any attempt to taper QE3 to less than $45 billion in 2014, especially if it becomes increasingly apparent that the US-economy is sliding into a full blown recession. As for gold prices, the key question is; did the recent slide to $1200 per ounce fully price-in the scenario of a complete tapering of QE3 to zero by mid-2014? If yes, then such bearish ideas were overblown. In that case, gold has found its bear market bottom at $1200 per ounce, where it could start to build a sustainable base of support and begin a recovery rally in fits and starts, in the months ahead.

So, whether a 25K or 50 dinar note - it would be designated as 1 ' unit ' They are looking to reduce the physical dinar paper supply from 4 billion notes to 1 billion
