I was proud to see I had so many Positive Rating like what I had to post made sense to some......I be done with the BS from the Left Here and the Forum.....Frank 26 has more control of his Forum than this place.....Here....There is no Control and BS runs Rampant and goes Un Checked....Oh Well, Delete me as I see nothing good coming from this group the way it is run.

Maybe you just need to take a break and regroup.  If it's getting to you that much maybe some time away will be a good thing.  I stop watching the news sometimes for awhile to decompress.

I for one @Karstenwish you would reconsider. Actually, as far as I know all of the moderators are very conservative in nature. And DARE I say I'd bet good money as to Adams political stance. Which for a Harvard graduate is quite surprising. Guess everyone can't be from Liberty University

And if anyone doesn't know my Constitutional Conservative opinion then they haven't been paying attention. However, one of the STAUNCHEST political planks of the Conservative party is the 1st amendment. The right to free speech, even in the face of extreme stupidity, is the corner stone of our Republic.

Everyone here is held to the higher standard of being respectfull in stating their opinions. Sometimes in the heat of debate respect is forgotten, and that is when we Moderators need your help by reporting any post that goes beyond free speech into something unacceptable.

So please reconsider, because I for one GREATLY VALUE your inputs here.

Always your friend

Scotty

@Karsten,

The LEFTISTs, MARXISTs are truly emboldened in America, in the geo-poltical, and even on this Forum. But never fear, the 'silent majority' is quickly waking up to the insanity that has taken over The Democrat Party and the LEFTIST controlled cities and states across this great country.

I have stated this many times and I still believe it to be true, that we should be thankful that the LEFTISTs, MARXISTs, are coming out in the open and not hiding their true intentions and feelings anymore. Now, they clearly are stating where they want to take this country and for most Americans, it is not a place they want to go.

Hi Karsten 🙂

Just a few thoughts for what it is worth, and a few things I have learned in life...

Let's look at your concerns from a different angle...

Let's say your post was from one of those who you label as "liberal haters, demonic this or that, liberal socialist commie..." and the list goes on and on...you get my point.

They were complaining about having to deal with the hatred and views of "conservative" <enter label here>, that they did not appreciate how the board was being "run" by those type of people, that the opinions and views of those labeled people were offensive, and they wanted to leave because they were accused as being "in charge" of the board.

What would you say to them? I can pretty much predict the reaction, not necessarily saying YOU would say the following...we see it here frequently. Terms like "poor snowflake", or "go find your safe place little commie"...etc.

How does any of that nonsense help others to grow and learn from each other?

I would say 99% of the people on this forum actually DO love their country, just as much you do...is not THAT the most important thing? Some of those folks support NO political party...yet they love their country and are patriots, just like YOU.

Do you associate a dissenting view or opinion or belief that does not agree with you as a threat? How so?

Everyone has an opinion, and IF a person TRULY supports "free speech", then you allow dissenting opinions, views, beliefs, thoughts just as much as you desire everyone to simply always agree with you.

IF you support "free speech" you would never attack or demonize those that speak their mind...it is OK to tell them you disagree...but why not let it at that? Anything beyond that is pounding your chest demanding to be "right", and in the process tearing apart another person who simply does not agree with your views, but tearing them apart and making accusations is somehow supposed to make YOUR opinion more valuable?

Last time I checked, Adam still runs this board, and he has chosen to allow dissenting opinions for the most part, which shows he supports freedom of speech. He may not agree with it, but unless it crosses a line that he has drawn, live and let live, speak and let speak, right?

My advice is simple...learn to allow others to challenge your thoughts...sometimes the best lessons I have learned in life is taking the time to LISTEN to opposing views, because within it I found a pearl of wisdom and it helped me LEARN. I may have wanted to just react and pounce on them, I may have wanted to tear their opinion apart because it was not what I wanted to hear...BUT, I chose to listen.

How can choosing to listen and learn, then offer your side of a discussion cause YOU any harm? If you want a place to speak your mind only, without ANY opposing views, I suggest starting your own forum where NO opposing views are allowed.

Personally, I would find that a truly boring place, where all one did was seek out validation for their own thoughts and views, beliefs, etc.

I learn from many people here when it comes to political discussion. I will not participate in the labeling, name calling and demonizing because it is only someone demanding you agree with them, and I do not play that game.

I think the most important "key" to social media is to encourage everyone to THINK for themselves. We better learn to do that, or someone else will think for you and that never works out.

So take a break, relax, realize that the world is full of opinions and opposing views to your own...can you stand for what you believe in WITHOUT allowing others opinions to affect you so negatively? Can you choose to listen rather than rebuke?

We should desire discussion...civil debate...why? So we can ALL learn something from each other, have some humility about us to admit we may not have all the answers.

I think you are intelligent enough to understand how the game of politics is played, or any other divisive subject. How do we learn if we do not allow anything OR anyone to challenge our beliefs or views, or opinions???

We don't, we just desire to be constantly validated...we only want to read or hear what WE want to hear, nothing outside of that, and anyone that challenges that is torn apart.

Maybe have more of an open mind, instead of reacting, it is OK to learn to listen, respect the opposing sides views...then it is OK to agree to disagree without dividing others.

All the best to you, no matter what you choose. I personally think your opinions are worth reading, I may not agree with them, but I do not feel the need to attack others because I disagree with them.

Have a great day!

Very well written Jim.  Thank you for taking the time to articulate a reasonable, civil response.

I too too have had many knee jerk posts aimed at Liberals who post on this site.  I will never ever understand the liberal mind and their agenda but I will defend their right to speak their mind.  Censorship is UnAmerican and maybe Twitter, Google, and a few other Big Tech players should be reminded or maybe read your post.

I am a broken person in many ways, due to life experiences, and it is only out of that brokenness I speak as to what I have learned and how so many things out there serve one purpose...that is to divide. Divide our minds, hearts and distract us in every way. It simply is NO way to live the life we have been given. I have got to experience many wonderful things in life, but those things that taught me real lessons are those things that hurt the most.

I can only speak for myself, the things I have learned along the way in this bizarre life, and how those things have helped me to realize many years ago that so many things I once thought I understood or knew, I really did not. In fact, I knew literally NOTHING. I only knew what someone else told me how to feel and think.

There was a time many years ago, I could barely tolerate opposing views or really ANY challenge to my views, beliefs, etc. Until one day, too many things about what I thought I knew no longer made sense. it can be traumatic to face reality and realize how little we truly "know".

I learned to have an open mind, because having a closed mind did nothing for me except make me at times an angry intolerable person,  and that was just not who I am down deep. When I changed to such a degree I learned it was time to take a different path.

I allowed too many things to influence my mind that gradually had turned me into nothing but an echo of someone else's thoughts, beliefs, and I realized I had no original thought if I continued to allow that. I learned I had to think for myself, because allowing others to do that for me was no longer an option.

I learned to LIVE again, rather than existing under my comfortable canopy of various beliefs, ideologies, etc.

I now thank those that challenged me, those that disagreed with me, those that actually told me the truth about myself long ago, but I was too hard headed to admit to much of what they were trying to tell me.

Sometimes, the most fearful thing to do is change your mind...but it can be one of the most liberating steps you can take. When I changed my mind about how I perceive others, how I treated others, and how I decided to treat others as I desired to be treated, I suddenly broadened my understanding, and I learned so much, and I learn something new every day.

I still have whole lot of work to do on ME...because if we are ever going to be a united nation again, we better learn to start with ourselves FIRST, rather than pointing fingers at others to try and do little more than protect our preconceived notions about life.

You guys have a great day! 😃

Each of us have our beliefs, they are a sum of our experiences.  Unfortunately, we cannot trade places with the people who disagee with us, to see their perspective.   We can only guess what their experiences are.

I do know the Bible says in, Ephesians 6:12
"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual [forces] of wickedness in the heavenly [places.]"

It is Satan that is putting us against one another.   A woman was talking to me today about issues she was having with difficult people in her life.  The conversation brought to mind, something I told someone else on this Forum several months ago.  I asked her if she had been praying for those "difficult" people and she said no.  I suggested that she should.

The reason is if you are praying and you enter into the Throne Room of God when you are praying, you will experience God's Love, and it is very difficult if not impossible not to develop a love for those you are praying for.  I urge all of us to pray in this way for those we have disagreements/misunderstandings with.

Remember where you are when you are praying, you are in the Presence of the Most High God, who loves all of us the same.  Jesus died on the cross for ALL of us, so ALL of us are invaluable in God's eyes because He paid the price and purchased us with His Blood.  You are ALL in my prayers.  God Bless!

I am not sure if you will read my response while I certainly hope you do.

Please understand the "useful" "idiots" has been around for sometime while there are notable defectors who are ardent Constitutionalists opposing the enemies within. Here is an example:

The context of defection was a landslide defeat of the candidate Ronald Reagan supported after defecting the Democrat Party for altogether compelling reasons. Twenty years later, Ronald Reagan had an even greater landslide victory over the Democratic contender.

All the more reason to stay in the fight.

You are NOT alone, Karsten, in any stretch of the measure and are REALLY the victor in what You and a significant amount of others here at DinarVets stand for aligned with The Constitution Of The United States Of America TO INCLUDE The Ratified Bill Of Rights.

The Never Trumpers, Anti Trumpers and Trolls do and stay stupid things in the hopes that the decent folks will shut up and stand down.

Ain't happening.

Besides hacking off The Never Trumpers, Anti Trumpers and Trolls is a lot of fun since THEY don't even read THEIR OWN stupid statements.

Proverbs 25:26 New International Version (NIV)

26 Like a muddied spring or a polluted well
are the righteous who give way to the wicked.

Ecclesiastes 10:12-13 New International Version (NIV)

12 Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips.
13 At the beginning their words are folly;
at the end they are wicked madness—

Maybe consider The Never Trumpers, Anti Trumpers and Trolls as cheap (free) entertainment. There are enough good folks here and elsewhere to put an end to THEIR nonsense should it get too far.

By the way, I am in FAVOR of CHAZ/CHOP Zones provided they are fenced in and ANYONE  CAN NOT get out UNLESS THEY individually swear to renounce the likewise CHAZ/CHOP Zone philosophies AND VOW TO LIVE PEACEFULLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY UNDER RULE OF LAW UNDER PENALTY OF SUCH FOR NON COMPLIANCE. Let THEE CHAZers/CHOPers "self" "neutralize".

Problem Solved.

EVEN MORE "entertainment":

Obama, Hillarious, Saul Alinsky and Their Useful Idiots Paperback – February 11, 2015

by Will Clark  (Author)

America, the greatest country that's ever existed to recognize and protect humanity and to encourage freedom and opportunity, is now in grave danger to maintain those wonderful gifts for mankind. Our wonderful nation is now under attack by fierce zealots who can t tolerate the ideas, opportunities, and freedom of aspirations America allows and supports. We are now on a dangerous precipice. One of these three assaults is from direct confrontation by radical Islamic Jihadists who proclaim, promise, and boast they will destroy us and our way of life; especially our Christian way of life. Their whole being is to control the world and they don t keep their intentions or their goals secret. It's a blatant military and terrorist attack. America is the Great Satan they must destroy to fulfill their religious and zealous mission. The other two assaults are not direct or open. They are subtle and insidious, and are guided by deception. And, presently no one is combating their insidious and sneaky encroachment on our accepted American way of life. The leaders and encroachers have been free to spout their evil and their harmful designs without resistance. One encroachment is from the Muslim Brotherhood. They even have a written plan to replace American freedoms with their dogmatic religion through a process they call Settlement. With the support of Barack Obama and others within our government they are far advanced in accomplishing that plan. The other assault is from a socialist-communist agenda outlined by Saul Alinsky; and is being accomplished through his Rules for Radicals program. Barack Obama was once a teacher of the Alinsky principles. In her early years, Hillarious Clinton also corresponded with Alinsky and praised his radical programs. This book defines all these assaults. It also defines those who are used in these attacks on America; Useful Idiots, Useful Innocents, and Useful Fools.

Fortunately, THESE Useful Idiots AND Useful Fools are being turned back as we speak AND view events. Sure, seeming staying power.

Until.........................................

AFTER November 3, 2020. THEY can be idiots for a little while longer AFTER that THEN REALITY WILL TAKE IT"S COURSE AND WIPE THEM OUT!!!

If nothing else, perhaps the ever widening division being sowed by this administration, and the snowball effect it has created will encourage more voters, Left and Right, to step up and cast their vote....a greater percentage of the masses practicing their civic duty is always a good thing.

You mean the Democratic Party.  If the Democratic Party decided tomorrow morning to work with President Trump to fix this country, President Trump would welcome them.
