This came during the minister's visit to the exhibition "Made in Iraq" organized by the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair, with the participation of the public and private sectors. Al-Najm added that what we saw today in the pavilions of the participating companies gives us a clear picture of the existence of capabilities and good infrastructure for the national industry. He pointed out that the Ministry of Planning is working to provide appropriate conditions to develop the available capabilities, especially with regard to supporting the private sector, by raising the level of competition with its public sector counterpart, and taking more measures to protect the local product. The minister inspected the exhibition and looked at the products of the participating companies, listening to detailed explanations about the nature of these companies' work, their production levels, and the conditions and obstacles they face.
