  4. This stunning composite view of a recent total lunar eclipse captures the stages of the amazing moon sight as viewed over the Capitol building in Austin, Texas. The composite image was created by skywatcher Mark Ezell during the total lunar eclipse of April 15, one of two total eclipses of the moon in 2014. Ezell captured the individual images of the moon between the hours of 1 a.m. CST and 4 a.m. CST. The beauty of the building provided inspiration to Ezell. "I liked how the circular windows in the foreground are similar to the moons. An interesting fact ... Austin's Capitol is taller than the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.," Ezell wrote in an email to Space.com. [Blood Moon Photos: Total Lunar Eclipse of April 15] http://www.space.com/25507-moon-turns-red-lunar-eclipse-time-lapse-video.html Ezell used a 70-200mm lens to photograph the moon during the eclipse, then photographed the Texas Capitol Building using a 24mm lens. The April 15 total lunar eclipse lasted about 3.5 hours, with the Earth's shadow slowing darkening the face of the so-called "Blood Moon" in a jaw-dropping sight for stargazers. 7. Posted Today, 11:53 AM Awesome Buti! "this process will be among the mechanisms and procedures that will be followed by the bank will be applied during the current week." Hello June 1! This will be fun, I agree this is pretty awesome. It's going to be interesting how this will affect the market rate and lessen the spread between the Market and CBI rate. There will be some impact on the banks who have been able to make money off the spread as the middle man. Hopefully we are seeing a a move toward article VIII and a free market economy.

  8. I will defer my first comments to what Rayzur has written. There are too many twists and turns that have no correlative bearing on the the meaning of the words. The entire premise is based on trying to force the passage to refer to Barack Obama, someone in the future as far as Jesus is concerned. When in reality the passage is referring to an entity in the time of Jesus. If the simplest hermeneutic had been done the "expert" would have recognize that this passage is referring to Satan's downfall because the demons were subject to the 70 disciples by the authority of Jesus' name. In English it is simply, "I was watching . . . " (first person, singular, imperfect, active, indicative). The imperfect verb is like the present tense, except it dwells on the course of an event instead of stating its occurrence. It draws the picture and helps you to see the course of the act. So Jesus is stating that he was watching Satan fall as the disciples authoritatively proclaimed His name and cast out demons. There is no thought to a future predictive event of another person being involved in being cast down. Therefore, no, Jesus did not give us the name of an antichrist, Barack Obama.

  9. I feel the need to be fair to my dentist, lest I sounded like I was chiding him.... To be fair, he takes off every 4 months or so and spends a couple weeks in very poor countries or countries devastated by disaster, doing free dental work on kids and their parents... He showed me pictures of his last venture to the PI following that hurricane and photos of this one kid he did a cleft pallet repair cause the kid asked if he could help him..... It was almost a tear jerker is was so touching..... So truthfully , I don't really care what he believes as far as the a/christ goes..(and he does believe that heart and soul)..... He is a man who walks the talk and I very much respect him and his work for which he asks nothing in return.... Had to clear that up.... Oh and I would love to meet a person fluent in ancient Aramaic and had a hard time following the video with out mapping... though it seemed like the guy jumped between Aramaic (ancient by definition), Greek (ancient by definition) and Hebrew.... and though jumping between the languages to make his point, it didn't seem like he traced out who would have been speaking what, at the time they would have apparently been speaking..... And instead the guy seemed to jump between them with this huge assumption he could do so (no) And there is this really equally huge assumption everyone would agree as to what was being spoken (not necessarily) .... And even more to the point.... what was spoken and then translated as it was put into writing at the time the particular passage was written..... Specifically, Jesus likely spoke Aramaic.... and when His Words were originally written, were they written first in Aramaic... (not likely) or were they first translated into Greek at the time they were written... And then what derivation of Greek.... Given that translation is at the core of this assertion... there are very serious issues to ignore....(and I probably didn't say that as clearly as I could have as I'm tired, so if it doesn't make sense, let me know)..

  10. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God; every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world. You are from God, little children (Christians), and have overcome them (those who have the spirit of the antichrist); because greater is He who is in you (the Holy Spirit) than he who is in the world (the spirit of the antichrist). They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God; he who knows God listens to us (apostles); he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. The spirit of the antichrist has been in the world since the incarnation of God in Christ. It is any person denying Jesus is the Christ (God) who has come in the flesh. To isolate this to one person is dangerous. To even think that "this spirit" is connected to one political group (aka democrat) is limiting and silly.

  11. Interesting opinion piece, from just another guy on the street, who unfortunately does not pay much attention to many fact based sources of information..... However kuddos to him for taking the time to share his somewhat isolated perspective, and take the time and energy to post a YouTube video..... My dentist... and I am dead serious swear this is true... my dentist and his religion believes the Roman Catholic Church is the Anti-Christ.... They use a lot of the book of Daniel which I think is also involved with this assertion by an entire body of this religion..... I haven't yet shared my opinion about using the Old Testament in such not intended Old Testament ways..... Course he gets to talk a lot while I listen, as I'm the captive audience in the dental chair..... Everyone has an opinion, some are just easier to dismiss as whacko paddy... .... Thanks JCS for interesting discussion .

  13. Man, I got negged for being ironic! Oh, well. Let me say it straight. Radical Islamic teaching believes that the way to win an argument, get their point across, or make converts is by way of violence. It is not a religion of peace. Violence is a way of life for most Islamic states. Civil war, even if it comes will be a normal transition of life in Iraq. If there is not a civil war (oxymoron) there will still be conflict and violence. But this will not postpone the rv, it will happen.

( I also thought whoever her PR/manager person was at the time, they should have been drop kicked)... Of course I also immediately thought for a split second, when the hellll did we start treating extra terrestials ..... forgetting that "aliens" was a term used long long ago for illegal immigrants, and its something you never hear (except maybe for an occasional Sarahism)....Her water-boarding baptism was my favorite for this year... .. There was another thread wherein it was reported that 100 lawmakers called for this guy's resignation... and if any one of those 100, any one of them, was one of the people voting down the VA budgetary needs required to treat the numbers and kinds of injuries presented by vets today..... then that person(s) should shamefully decline to run for another term.... and I will be there to help them with that decision.

  16. GOLD PRICES retreated to yesterday's new 4-month lows Friday lunchtime in London, trading in a tight range above $1251 per ounce as world stock markets eased back from new highs. Hitting a series record on MSCI data Friday morning, world equities were heading for a 1% monthly gain. Gold prices were meantime heading for their worst drop since December's fall back to June 2013's three-and-a-half year lows, down more than 3% for May. "Investors are behaving as if the world is utterly boring," writes Financial Times' columnist and editor Gillian Tett, noting today's pre-crisis levels in stockmarket and currency volatility. "One possible explanation is that the economic outlook has turned benign...A second, less benign possible reason [is] markets have been so distorted by heavy government interference since 2008 that investors are frozen." "Investors showed little concern with [Thursday's US] GDP data," says Commerzbank's commodity desk, and "that sentiment did not bode well for the gold price." "A waning concern about the situation in the Ukraine also helped push the gold price lower," it believes. The US Pentagon today said Russia has pulled "a majority" of its troops back from the Ukraine border, leaving 7 battalions with "several thousands" of troops. "The stockmarket will hold at current levels until the ECB meeting next week," Bloomberg quotes UniCredit strategist Christian Stocker, looking ahead to the European Central Bank's widely-expected cut to Euro interest rates and QE-style asset purchases. "Should the ECB disappoint the market, then I expect a negative reaction." The Euro currency steadied above 4-month lows to the Dollar on Friday, while Eurozone government bond yields ticked higher from record lows. US Treasuries also trimmed their best monthly price-rise since January. "Treasuries are gaining because of reduced concern on inflation," reckons one London director of fixed income. "We expect further Bund outperformance vs. Treasuries," says a detailed report from Societe Generale's Cross Asset Research group, targeting higher German bond prices with the 10-year yield spread over comparable US debt rising to 1.5 percentage points from 1.1 at present. Over in Asia on Friday, Shanghai gold prices held at a small premium to London quotes as the Yuan rallied from this week's 1-month lows near the weakest level since March 2013. Trading volumes on the Shanghai Gold Exchange were again strong, although half the level of Wednesday's 11-week high. Indian premiums meantime "halved this week" over London gold prices, Reuters reports, as buyers awaited further easing of the No.1 consumer nation's import curbs from the new BJP government led by Narendra Modi. Dropping to $30-40 per ounce, India's gold price premium has now fallen 80% from last autumn's record highs.

  25. Sorry, I guess you missed my point and I apologize if I didn't provide enough verbiage so that you could understand, too. If you're following the tenor of the current argument, many feel that this all falls on the current administration. It's doesn't. Hence my comments about there being nothing new here and my admonition that these folks need to "get over yourselves." This type of single-payer system has been the bane of the peace-time military and VA systems with all their bureaucracy that chews up way too many dollars before the first patient is ever seen. Been there. Done that. Played that game. Didn't save the tee shirt but I still have both styles of dress blues and dress whites in a closet somewhere. But this is an example of socialized medicine that the general public has never seen and they're appalled. And the general public needs to be appalled. Right now we're moving down the path to having socialized medicine. Look at other countries where they do have socialized medicine. Are there not waiting lines? In Russia? In the UK? In continental Europe? Then why in 2010 did Danny Williams, the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador (I'm guessing we'd refer to that position as Governor) decide to come to the United States for heart surgery. Now maybe they didn't or don't have the specialty care that he needed in St. Johns. So why not go to Toronto or Ottawa - surely it's available there? But no, he's an elite that could afford to so he went to the U.S. where he could get what he wanted and when he wanted it. I didn't choose one political party over another in my earlier post except to say that this wasn't caused by the "evil Demoncrats." I imagine I should have laid more blame at the feet of both parties who have failed to manage the system correctly. There's more than enough blame to go around including some for voters like you and me. But to just throw money at the issue and expect it to get better? I expect more than that. Now understand who the veterans are. They're former military people. Surprise! Bet you didn't know that! These are people we entrust to do whatever it takes to protect our constitution; to protect our country; to protect our way of life. These folks, by and large, do not complain about the "system" that awful much. It erodes morale. They know that. So our vets have quietly suffered for decades under a system that doesn't work as well as it should. And everybody thinks things are hunky-dory until we really see what the system is all about. And the stuff that's being exposed now is nothing new! Welcome to my world. By the way, somebody hit you with a red dot for your response. I fixed that. Also, just you know, while I tend to be conservative, once upon a time I might have been called a "yellow-dog," then it was "blue-dog," but I've really only ever seen myself as an independent. Now I'm not registered as an independent because if I was registered anything, I wouldn't see myself as an independent. Have a good weekend.

Billy was only a few miles from me when he was KIA in VietNam. I wish that I could have been by his side, when the time came for him to go and meet our maker. Billy, you may be gone from my eyes but not from my heart. I love you Brother. RIP until we can be together once again. Fortunately enough people had figured it out, that when Obama asked the US people, (legislators) they said helllll no on the Syria strike... read, takeover (Syria likewise has no central bank)....Noting that the US people were starting to wake up... the current administration apparently decided not to ask the people the next time, and simply went into Ukraine to stop those waskly wabbits, from being big ole meanies to their people.... Its amazing just how many evil bad, heads of state seem to emerge, over time mind you, and consistent with a US time frame to take them on next...And throughout all of it... the "government", doesn't even bother to change its story in justifying their actions...

  28. And Then the Fight Started... My wife sat down on the couch next to me as I was flipping channels. She asked, 'What's on TV?' I said, 'Dust.' And then the fight started... * My wife and I are watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire while we were in bed. I turned to her and said, "Do you want to have sex?" "No," she answered. I then said, "Is that your final answer?" She didn't even look at me this time, simply saying, "Yes." So I said, "Then I'd like to phone a friend." And then the fight started... * Saturday morning I got up early, quietly dressed, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, and slipped quietly into the garage. I hooked the boat up to the truck and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour. The wind was blowing 50 mph, so I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio and discovered that the weather would be bad all day. I went back into the house, quietly undressed and slipped back into bed. I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible..." My loving wife of 10 years replied, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?" And then the fight started... * I rear-ended a car this morning. So, there we were alongside the road and slowly the other driver got out of his car. You know how sometimes you just get soooo stressed and little things just seem funny? Yeah, well I couldn't believe it....he was a DWARF! He stormed over to my car, looked up at me, and shouted, "I AM NOT HAPPY!" So, I looked down at him and said, "Well, then which one are you?" And then the fight started... * My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary. She said, 'I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.' I bought her a scale. And then the fight started... * When I got home last night, my wife demanded that I take her someplace expensive... so I took her to a gas station. And then the fight started... * After retiring, I went to the Social Security office to apply for Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later. The woman said, 'Unbutton your shirt.' So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, 'That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me' and she processed my Social Security application. When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office. She said, 'You should have dropped your pants. You Might have gotten disability, too.' And then the fight started... * My wife and I were sitting at a table at my high school reunion, and I kept staring at a drunken lady swigging her drink as she sat alone at a nearby table. My wife asked, 'Do you know her?' 'Yes,' I sighed, 'She's my old girlfriend. I understand she took to drinking right after we split up those many years ago, and I hear she hasn't been sober since.' 'My God!' says my wife, 'who would think a person could go on celebrating that long?' And then the fight started... * I took my wife to a restaurant. The waiter, for some reason , took my order first. "I'll have the strip steak, medium rare, please." He said, "Aren't you worried about the mad cow?" "Nah, she can order for herself." And then the fight started... * A woman is standing nude, looking in the bedroom mirror. She is not happy with what she sees and says to her husband, 'I feel horrible; I look old, fat and ugly. I really need you to pay me a compliment.' The husband replies, 'Your eyesight's damn near perfect.' And then the fight started....

  31. I believe we are in the final stretch of this adventure of ours and here’s why. Obama releases all Iraqi’s assets back to the Central Bank of Iraq, not the GOI, see Executive Order Amendment: link Obama’s quote thru the EO: the accounts, assets, investments, and other property owned by, belonging to, or held by, in the name of, on behalf of, or otherwise for, the Central Bank of Iraq This means that the CBI can use these assets, properties, etc… to back their currency since they are in charge of the Monetary System of Iraq. The Central Bank of Iraq’s head man Abdul Basset Turki says that all measures will be in place by middle of the year and he will not hesitate to implement to delete the zeros project as long as the situation politically and economically is right for the country , see his quotes and links for complete statements: Quote: "The central bank will proceed without hesitation to apply the project raise zeros from the local currency in case settled political and economic situation of the country." link Quote: the project to delete the zeros of the central bank governor said that the new measures will be there by the middle of this year, the bank raised about the new currency and the deletion of zeros. link The delete zero project started July 1, 2011 when Dr. Shabibi, the then governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, announced that the CBI had all the tools to start the project. More dollarization was implemented to remove dinars from circulation. It has been postponed two times since then but now I believe we are heading to the final stretch. The RV will come out of nowhere, just like Obama signing the new Executive Order releasing the real wealth back into the control of the Central Bank did. It is time to start preparing folks, make sure you are ready! Can there be another delay, sure but signs show that Iraq is ready to move forward and I believe the factual signs that are in front of us today. Stryker

  33. Published on May 29, 2014Palin: Obama Shows 'Lack of Understanding' of Debt of Gratitude to Military. (Fox News Insider) Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin joined Sean Hannity from the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans, La. to speak out on the ongoing VA scandal. "I think there's a lack of understanding on our commander-in-chief's part about what the mission of the military is, and why it is that we owe a debt of gratitude that's manifested in benefits paid to those who've already earned them," Palin said. Palin ripped President Obama's speech to West Point cadets this week, calling it "weak," and went on to say that she doesn't think Obama believes in American exceptionalism. It's not that we are weak as a country, but we are so unreliable now, under Obama," Palin said. "My concern is the effect that his doctrine, his policies, his attitude, has on those who are volunteering to serve this country -- to those whom we owe a debt of gratitude." When asked by Hannity if the VA is a "death panel" for America's veterans, Palin responded: "Isn't it ironic that those who were willing to sacrifice all, to put their life on the line to allow the freedom of choices in health care and economic decisions and everything else -- our soldiers, our airmen, our Marines -- they're the ones getting screwed by the VA." "Our commander-in-chief is in charge of this ultimately," Palin said. See the full interview above.

  36. Okay.... I'll admit it..... So maybe this is like the (many) jokes I don't get.... And maybe I missed something really important... BUT, I don't get it.......I mean I hear how excited the guy is, and its cool when someone discovers something and gets excited... but I honestly don't get it... I don't know how to mirror.... but if I did and mirrored like the Mona Lisa, would there be interesting shapes... If I mirrored a family picture, would my kids show up with images that could be faces, and my mother-in-law with an image that might look like a goat with horns? I don't get the significance of doing this and the result when you do.... Is it that no other picture when mirrored results in images that appear to be heads or people or halos etc etc? And apart from that .... Da Vinci was a brilliant man.... but its not like he knew Jesus.... or that the group sat for him while painted this portrait and therein Da Vinci was at the Last Supper and captured all this secret magical mysterious stuff for us...I just can't see for myself making any faith based decisions based upon a painting a really smart guy pulled out of his brain to represent the Last Supper, or the really cool shapes emerging from mirroring it centuries later .... What significance am I missing? Honestly, I don't get it..... Nelg, looks like we're on the same page, I must have started and been still writing my response before your last post.... So am glad I am not the only one to perhaps miss the significance...?.

  37. Da Vinci never had a computer to superimpose any material. But I wouldn't put anything past Da Vinci in putting satanic symbols in his paintings. Not much of a Christian in his lifestyle. He might have been doing that to have a laugh at the Catholic Churches expense. I put "hidden" images in my paintings as well. It's not that it couldn't be done, it's done all the time. I think the there are many images that could be seen if you used a mirror on some paintings. They may not be intended, but you can really make some weird images by moving the mirror around on a painting. But did Da Vinci do it on purpose? Personally, I don't think so. I think it was just something contrived by the guy in the video. But here is my question for you. What is the reason for pointing this out? I just don't see the point. Is there one?

  43. Interesting.... I know we've talked this one to death through different threads with some from the intelligence community right here on DV weighing in on the whole issue..... Course those threads with those folks usually ended with concerns about saying too much..... though there did seem to be clear consensus among those with actual intelligence experience... So apart from that, there's another angle on this I don't know that anyone has looked at....as topic... Meaning questioning the whole process of questioning..... It seems to me, there are some key factors we "forget" in the analysis... at least from my perspective from within this world... I don't know that "they" will ever be able to drill down precisely as to what went down at that time, in those moments, as they happened in real time... . I think there is some stuff "they" are ignoring in asking the current questions... so thought I'd toss out some things for consideration.... This is, (in my recollection), the first covert operation that has been "tried" in the public forum... Why? People forget that the internet and the real time access to information, is not at all that old... Its become so much a part of our lives, we forget that a decade ago, it was just gearing up and blossoming into this explosion of information......We used to rely on newsprint or various media to eventually give us the scoop, when they figured it out and spun it in a way that made sense to them... With this event, it was the first time that the public had access to info almost as soon as the government did, and thereafter the public came to its own conclusions, with the limited though fairly real time info they had..... I don't recall an event prior to this one in which the public had pieces of a covert operation, and so much so, that the government was now in a place of having to manage the presentation of that information while almost at the same time, managing the actual unfolding of the covert event....I don't believe the government was prepared for this.... The US is running a covert operation, it blows up, the public gets details of the blow up almost as quickly as the government infrastructure (GI) managing it gets the information.... and now the GI has to manage the event, the information out in the public arena, and the after effects of both..... and was I believe completely unprepared to have to reconcile both in a plausible way.... I don't know that ever before was there a public expectation that they should be debriefed about the intimate details of a covert US operation....... I don't know how many of the people asking questions have ever been in an actual command center, managing a real event as it was happening.... I can only imagine the cluster that transpired during this one.... Its always a cluster to some extent and you have to know and anticipate that... nothing specific to this.... Its just an amazing amount of juggling massive bits of information, which you have to determine if real or not, right there on the spot and then make a decision of response, over and over and over again to the details you are getting, the moment you are getting them... Even deciding not to respond is a decision... You can't slow it down, it goes down at its own pace, and you're playing the telephone game in getting information hoping to catch up so you can get ahead...... And I'm no way saying I have been there on that scale... but I have been there, and people died, and sometimes more were killed than we lost in Benghazi...... I watched a friend executed at point blank, and there was nothing we could do to stop it even as it was happening, and we were right there...And we could not stop it.... In a tight situation... in covert, personal, face to face when it goes sideways, the fog of war hits warp drive on steroids. I can't even imagine, what it would be like to have the public getting the same kinds of info real time, or having to debrief the public afterward, regarding the response to an event...... Especially within hours of the event.... It sometimes takes weeks to get all the pieces assembled in order to really understand what happened... To think there would be the expectation that somehow info could be assembled with any kind of credibility such that a statement could be made within hours.... is ludacris.... And frankly, its my personal opinion that any senator who demanded that is either jack azzzz stupid, or jack azzzz posturing for his/her personal gain... Further and objectively speaking, I don't think the administration even realized the potential train wreck in the "sharing as we go " kind of approach... In many ways, its too bad someone didn't say, we're doing the analysis right now, and we will share that with you the moment we have it assembled in a meaningful briefing.... [NO that is not buying time to cover,... it is responsibly sorting the massive amount of variables/info coming in at once, at the same time, in massive chunks, and the many responses moment to moment, and breaking that out, in a way you can actually talk about it] You simply can not slam dunk talk off the cuff in this type of thing ...... Its not television, things are not neatly laid out in chronological order, or logical order, or any order.....Its not like in the movies... , there aren't huge computer boards spitting out accurate information, there is not some glorified computer giant screen coordinating all the info and funneling it down into one concise statement ... nor is information standing politely in line waiting to be heard and then analyzed..... And in the case of Benghazi, I can't even fathom the number of agencies, thousands of mile apart, each with their own data points spewing in, accurate or not... that had to be coordinated... enough to even be analyzed... , ... and that's just the US players... There was a whole other layer of international players and the information that had to be relayed and received from them..... AND while it was happening... WHO anticipated that the public would have the expectation they should be debriefed about a US covert operation.... such that the administration would have the presence of mind to record information for public release.... The administration had to be about responding, not figuring out how they were going to discuss their response in this new expectation they do so... . In the commentary of the public, there were actually people who believed that the US gov't was watching this event live as it was happening... There were people who believe that one layer of concise data points of information was relayed, somehow verified as accurate, and then ignored....or that every agency involved had the exact same data points or there was only one set of data points, or one stream of information and on and on.....Some seemed to believe that the US gov't had a playbook with all the plays spelled out, including the intentions and motivations of all players in every country and every faction of that country therein..... Still others didn't understand what act of war on sovereign soil meant. Other people seem to forget that Libya is a sovereign nation. Embassies in sovereign nations when not protected by the US military, (o rah Marines), are protected by that country... Outposts even more so.... So if a Libyan outpost here in the US comes under attack, the US (those US peeps hired) will go in and protect the Libyan outpost on US soil... I can't imagine anyone thinking it even remotely okay that the Libyan gov't and joint military of Libya, should cross US sovereign borders with a military response and bomb the snot out of US soil in protecting their Libyan staff members... No permission requested, considered or joint effort, just a unilateral Libyan decision to deploy Libyan soldiers onto US soil, to wage armed conflict in defending their Embassy outpost.... The diplomatic and international consequence of doing so would be astronomical.... Every government of every country with players in the game, understood long ago, that good men serving their country, would give their lives in fulfilling the unspoken missions of that country.... It is a rule of engagement.... IF the US should decide to break that rule, and openly transgress sovereign soil engaging warfare to support an unspoken mission, .... wow, I can't even imagine the international consequence.... People seem to forget this... . . . I know there must be at least one other military person here who knows about one or several people dying in the line of duty, on behalf of the US, and their death was reported as having occurred some place else, doing something else, other than what they were actually doing... Thanks to the internet, this method of covering covert operations may no longer be an option.... If the new expectation of the gov't is that all covert ops henceforth be debriefed with the US public, that will be a game changer... and Benghazi represents the game board upon which those rules of engagement changed..... With regard to the specific content of this post.... I believe without a doubt that there was someone in some agency who believed the movie may have engendered this event.... and they had enough clout as a person or agency to put this forward as a possibility.... It was likely quickly discarded straight away.... but somewhere did take on life...I can tell you in my own experience, some of the theories I've heard to explain events as they were unfolding until we could a handle on the reality, were so flippin bizarre, they came straight out of the Twilight Zone.... so much so, sometimes I thought the person posing them was off planet.. . and some of the bizarre were followed as real possibilities... (by people other than me in charge) ... I can't even imagine how I would have explained either the thinking.... or the responsive action because of that thinking, had there been some demand from the public for an explanation.... Because this was new territory (having to debrief the public about a covert operation), I don't believe the administration understood well enough the implications to anticipate the need for an explanation.... (if they were actuality that sophisticated, they would have played it differently)... Specifically, I don't think they had the sophisticated understanding necessary to anticipate and therefor invent or cover by putting out a fake email, about a fake reason for the event.. On this specific issue, I think Issa is off base...... And, is it just me, or does anyone else wish that congress would get this worked up about denying access to information for things like the TPP... that isn't supposed to be a covert operation.... so why is congress okay with letting this one slide, in order to focus upon something that actually is supposed to be covert?!?!..
