Remember, no one really  knows what will happen, or when. They're simply stating their opinions based on what  they perceive to be happening in Iraq. :twothumbs:RON

*** Jeff ***...the rate's gonna do nothing but keep going [up]...it's up to you if you want to rush to exchange it.  I'm not.  I will not be rushing to exchange my currency.  I'm gonna take my sweet time.  There's no reason to rush this.  It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...

*** Frank26 *** Article: "The International Monetary reveals the conditions or granting loans and confirms its support for the white paper and changing the exchange rate"  Do you see the power in what I'm showing you?  I hope you do...the white papers I've told you a billion and a one times contains the new exchange rate...

“Mr 100% factual” is forgetting there will probably be a timeframe of a few days to weeks for us to exchange our higher denoms. This has been the case with other countries every time they bring out a different class of money. At some point they consider the older class null and void so they can move on.

But there was an article I distinctly remember reading where it said the notes would coexist for 10 years.

Sounds like moree hype to me. Getting us Dinarians excited and expecting an RV like tomorrow. I wouldn't get too excited with this hype. My advice is Ron's advice...................

if the notes would coexist for 10 years, is it about exchanging old dinars for new lower denoms in country of iraq only right? what about out of iraq, is there a timeframe for dinar investors to exchange dinar for dollars? is it also 10 years exchange period? for example, let's say if the cbi rv the iqd at 1:1 in march 2021, do you think the cbi will give 10 years exchange period ( until march 2031 ) with the same rate 1:1?

I remember that. It was like 2 years for the citizens and like 10 years for the nations or something like that. But that was several years ago, no telling what kind of time table they will put on us. I seem to remember Russia had only about 1 or 2 weeks to replace their currency a few years ago. We won’t know how long we have until it happens and they let us know. I would think when Iraq starts dealing with both currencies, using 1, 5,10 dinar notes as well as 5,000, 10,000, 25,000 notes it would be a headache and they would want to put a time frame on the larger notes.. we will see.

Exactly.     All governments will have a long exchange period.  They stand to make money off of you and they trade it in for oil or hold on to it as a foreign reserve currency.  The shorter exchange time frame is most likely in country.

Similar but definitely different time period.  We had our foot on the Germans throats in Bretton Woods NH when this was all agreed upon after the war.  They had no choice, we were the victors!!!

I remember I read an article years ago that said they did a 10:1 exchange 10 old for one new! They also exchange cash in bank and loans over as well at different rates!

Thanks RV My Dinar: That was a great find in my opinion . Interesting, I had heard somewhere that the DM RV'd around 1960, some 15 years after the war ended . I stand corrected .
