yota691
A source for {Euphrates News}: the region gave the central bank a huge amount Editorial Date: 2017/8/28 19:51 • 2596 times read (Baghdad: Al-Furat News) revealed a source familiar with the release of the authorities of the Kurdistan region for a huge amount in favor of the Central Bank of Iraq. The source told the agency {Euphrates News} that "the central bank received money reserved in Iraqi banks in Erbil," noting "to transfer part of the amount as a down payment to the bank." He added that "the amount received about one trillion dinars out of five trillion dinars," referring to "negotiations between the authorities of the region and the bank to hand over the rest of the amount." magawatt
I agree with Floridian. The Kurds wouldn't give all those dinars to Bagdad just for safe keeping.

"safe keeping".....definitely an oxymoron when used with anything Iraq related.....LOL

Interesting observation....a note "exchange" would have to take place rather than just issuing LDs which would defeat the note removal process........here's hoping. 1

Laid Back
This could be part of the money owed from Kurdistan to the federal government from the oil sales. The central bank received money reserved in Iraqi banks in Erbil," noting "to transfer part of the amount as a down payment to the bank." He added that "the amount received about one trillion dinars out of five trillion dinars," referring to "negotiations between the authorities of the region and the bank to hand over the rest of the amount." I believe they're getting Oil sales accounts in order before the enactment of the HCL Go HCL Go RV Go $1:1 1 1

skeetdog
Thanks Yota...This article is vague at best...The way I interpret this is the combination of 'navira' and 'LB' assertions...There's been a lot a smoke-n-mirrors in the oil that the Kurds have sold independent of Bagdad...If you dance to the music...eventually you'll got to pay the 'Fiddler'....Then there's the need to reduce the "000" notes count and what better way than to exchange them for the LD notes...jmho
navira45
Pokerplayer, one of dv members talked about the delegations coming from kurdistan to bring with negotiations to baghdad. One of these negotiations is to rv the dinar at certain rate but the oil was down at the time...so the deal was off. Kurdistan has been making deals off of the oil without baghdads pernission beacuse they need money to support kurdistan. These money from oil sales has been held in kurdistan...in hopes that baghdad is giving them what they want...and now we see this. Rv is here guys. Pray that iam right. navira45
Skeetdog, talk about lowering note counts. Yes you are correct. These notes are collected and destroyed..replace them with lower notes. The larger note counts to be collected are coming from the oil sales. Reducing note counts...rv is here. Pray some more.
