  6. Excellent articles yota, we have known for years now that the Paris club forgave almost all the debt iraq owed to them ( im sure there is a reason ) which is open for anyone's interpretation.. imo its was those in leadership that simply did not lead that has brought them down this road where they are today (pre abadi days), i remember when the usa or the (occupiers) as Sadr would describe US troops were forced / told to leave iraq, the top brass of the US military described the corruption in Iraq from literally top to bottom in all areas of authority and so the party for the corrupt was under way and it wrecked them, only now are we reading news of arrest being made years later , Selah in the above articles imo was one of the good guys that stood in maliki's way and was imprisoned to allow clear running of the money train for the thieves the iqd is very much a currency of a country that has huge potential but with many challenges ahead, this is all about Iraq we are simply along for the ride and so we'll continue to watch the news to attempt to discern the facts .... all the best

  13. Hi Barbara. Of course we can disagree ideologically, as Americans. But, we can also, agree with like-minded ideologues... hence "taking sides". Just remember, that one side is going to be correct, while the other side will be wrong... as ideologies can be "proven" one way or the other, as they relate to a philosophical base of reasoning... and further, as they may validate or conflict, in their context of such. There is seldom, if ever, any equivalences in opposing ideologies... so a base premise must always be applied in order to discover the TRUTH. Often then, the correct side, is more quickly proven... Here, in the US... we have firm, reasoned philosophical documents, the Declaration and the Constitution... that default to Individual rights and protections, ahead of any Collective ones. You may be a Progressive, however you choose to define that... but, as any of your Collectivist views (if you subscribe to such) infringe or impose on an Individuals' rights and values, you will be deemed an enemy of the Constitution, to be defended against. Remember, the Collectivist mandate REQUIRES an Individual's participation... but an Individual, only requires his own. So then, Individualism, almost by definition... can NEVER impose upon another. Such an ideology is most often associated with Conservatism... of which I am a proud member. YOU, will never have anything to fear from ME! You have strong convictions about President Trump, but it is hard for anyone to genuinely comment about them without knowing your ideological reasoning. I know what a Democrat is from a political perspective. But not all Democrats are Progressives. Perhaps you could be a little more specific as to your Progressive definition... I, for one, would like to know whether your views support the Individual Default, or the Collectivist Perspective (Mandate). Thanks, in advance! Jax

  18. "Once upon a time there was a kingdom that embraced many cultures and countries within it...each had it's own interests which they were free to pursue. Some of the cultures were older and wiser and others were young and impetuous but with a good heart they learned fast the unwritten rules of the kingdom. The game was often rough and tumble and then some times more civil and calm but always there were those who were planning silently to manipulate the game to their own advantage....Gold was the coin of the realm, then it wasn't and then it was again...or was it? British pound sterling, the gold backed dollar , the petro-Dollar, the dinar, the euro and on and on ...Then one manipulator caused a war and devalued one currency and bought it up and replaced it with his own which was now much more valuable. Then he proceeded to run his kingdom into debt knowing that one day in the future he would rebuild the war torn country and revalue its currency beyond his own and pay off all the debt he had incurred living the high life ...Then others found out ...they discovered the plan he inherited from other manipulators from ages past and planned to stop it by returning to a currency that they themselves backed with Gold...Now a new king took the throne of the first country and devised a plan to yet capitalize on the plan from the previous corrupt leaders ... He would guide them into reinstating their former glory and value of their currency, pay off his countries debt, that he inherited, and then reestablish a gold standard of his own to back his countries currency surely this would work...or will it? Can he time it just right and implement it before the ancient wise kingdom of the east slips in their plan? Can the two coexist? Tune in tomorrow same bat time and same bat channel for more question and very few answers, but join us as we cheer our new King on to victory against overwhelming odds...You know it is the stuff of every good story!" https://www.moneymetals.com/news/2017/09/05/china-oil-gold-standard-001150 China Puts Oil on a Gold Standard by: Clint Siegner Money Metals News Service September 5th, 2017 5 Comments Print Share Facebook Twitter Google+ LinkedIn Email The Chinese are preparing to launch an oil futures contract denominated in yuan and redeemable in gold. That is very bad news for the petro-dollar and for U.S. hegemony in the oil trade. The ability to sell oil on Chinese exchanges for yuan will take the potency out of U.S. sanctions levied on nations such as Russia and Iran. The gold backing of those contracts figures to lure participants from around the globe – even those with strong ties to the U.S. This additional enticement will go a long way toward allaying concerns of those who may see the dollar as superior to the yuan in trade. The move is another sign of the Chinese commitment to ending the dollar’s reign as the world reserve currency. The oil contract, to be traded on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange, will be the China’s first futures contract which is open to international firms for trading. There is no official word on when the contract will launch, but testing has been underway since July. 21. The United States is ready to provide support to tribal crowd forces in Anbar province 09-09-2017 02:05 PM Readers Baghdad News - Arab Jerusalem The United States of America has shown its readiness to provide support to the Sunni "tribal crowd" forces in preparation for the liberation of areas in Anbar province from the Da'ash organization. A senior US military delegation held intensive meetings with Iraqi army commanders and Sunni tribal leaders at the Ain al-Assad Air Base in Anbar as part of preparations for the battle, a source told a news briefing. The source added that the US delegation headed the coalition forces to fight General John Allen, where he met with elders of the tribes of Baghdadi, Haditha and Hitt tribal leaders in the presence of Iraqi army leaders responsible for the western axis of Anbar. He said that Allen discussed the battle for liberation of the remaining cities west of Al-Anbar, but called on Al-Qaim, Rawa and Aana, who are aware of the potential of the tribal crowd, to show their willingness to support the role. "The interest of the United States in Anbar province has been continuous and continued for years to liberate the areas controlled by the state," said Hadid al-Ghurairi, the tribal leader in Haditha. He pointed out that «American support has played an important role in the failure of the fall of the modern city of the organization, despite the fall of many cities close to him in his grip». "This support is not limited to the Iraqi army and the police, but also includes the tribal mobilization provided by Washington with weapons. Salaries are paid to its fighters, because the Americans are keen to liberate Anbar from the terrorist organization and cut off its links with Syria," the source said. According to al-Ghurairi, "the American advisers concentrated their presence in Anbar more than their presence in Mosul and Salah al-Din," noting that "the transfer of fighters from the organization to Lebanon near the Iraqi border was aimed at targeting US forces in Anbar." "There is another reason for the race between the United States and Iran to control Anbar, the existence of a gas field Okaz near Qaim, which contains huge amounts of gas." "The United States understands that the battlefield in Anbar is wide and vast, and requires large numbers of fighters to start the battle and control the vast desert stretching into Syrian territory," he said, adding that "regular government forces in the region are inadequate alone and must be supported by the crowd forces Tribal, ready to participate in the battle to liberate its province, when providing the necessary supplies of weapons and wheels and salaries ».

  32. Breaking Laws ... you talking about your hero Obummer? Because I have no idea which law you seem to think Trump has broken. And there you go deflecting your anger back at someone pointing out facts that fly in the face of your your anti-Trump bias again ... As you may have noticed (or perhaps you really are that zombified by the lame stream media that you can't see facts when they are presented to you), the left are the whiners and snowflakes ... You're trying to make people believe that they can't lose their country? As long as the Rhinos and Democrats keep blocking Trump at every turn, or the CIA removes him a la JFK then that is a very real premise because as the Media is telling you - you have to stop free speech because it's a hate crime ... and then they'll need to take away your guns and other freedoms and then ... boom!! you're in a FEMA camp wondering how you got there, and why is the government controlling every aspect of your life!

  33. Top ISIS weapons experts killed in US Coalition airstrikes in Syria September 08 2017 12:48 AM Top ISIS weapons experts killed in US Coalition airstrikes in Syria US-led coalition fighting ISIS in Iraq and Syria said it killed two senior leaders who oversaw weapons research and drone operations for the terror group in airstrikes on Monday, CNN reported on Thursday. Abu Anas al-Shami, an ISIS weapons research leader who headed up efforts to procure explosives for the group as well as plans to use bombs in external terror attack plots, was killed in a coalition airstrike as he rode a motorcycle near Mayadin, Syria, coalition spokesman Col. Ryan Dillon told reporters at the Pentagon Thursday. "He also oversaw the building of improvised explosives to rig corpses, vehicles and buildings to try and help ISIS cling to strongholds they are losing in Iraq and Syria," Dillon said. A separate airstrike in the same region killed Junaid ur Rehman, a senior ISIS drone pilot and engineer who was working to enhance ISIS's ability to weaponize drones and conduct aerial surveillance in Iraq and Syria as well as to plot external terror attacks. Coalition officials have long voiced concern over ISIS's interest in employing drone technology on the battlefield. "We are destroying their launch points, we are killing their engineers, we are dismantling their manufacturing facilities and their users," Dillon told reporters. "We are ripping apart their ability to use drones and to further get better" at perfecting their drone technology. The strikes follow an announcement last month that coalition airstrikes had killed 12 senior ISIS leaders, many of whom were involved in planning attacks against western targets, or facilitating the movement of foreign fighters into Iraq and Syria. All of these recent strikes against ISIS targets have mostly been located along the Middle Euphrates River Valley in Syria, where many of the group's senior leaders have moved to since military operations against their former stronghold in Raqqa began earlier this year. http://www.thebaghdadpost.com/en/story/16655/Top-ISIS-weapons-experts-killed-in-US-Coalition-airstrikes-in-Syria
