Baghdad hosts the oil and gas conference next week

Next Saturday, Baghdad will host a two-day oil and gas conference in the Arab world.
The Secretary-General of the Federation of Arab Engineers, Dr. Adel Al-Hadithi, explained that “the conference is the first in the field of oil and gas held by the Federation of Arab Engineers in the modern era, since the last conference was held in Alexandria in 1945,” indicating that “researchers and specialists in this field from (Egypt) Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Qatar, and Libya will participate in the conference, in addition to the host country, Iraq. Al-Hadithi pointed out that “the conference will discuss, over two days and four sessions, topics (oil wealth in the Arab world, optimal investment of oil wealth, optimal exploitation of energy sources and environmental protection, and manufacturing of crude oil in the Arab world with the aim of maximizing its value).

They don’t care if they have an HCL or not.  There is money to be made and it’s better for them not to have an HCL.

Nope, spot on mate...this makes perfect sense. I can't explain it, other than: this is Iraq where anything and everything happens.

JonnyV im so sick of year after year explaining the oil of iraq is the cash cow of corruption im just tired . whats the lip service or law whatever you call laws anymore that Baghdad would always respond to the kurds that the oil belongs to the citizens of iraq not even laughable anymore .

The new completion date for the CBI building is March 1st 2024. Just in time for the new iraq?

 

I searched completion date on Google and this Facebook link popped up. I don't have Facebook so I copied what I could see in search results.
