Spokesman for the Iraqi Joint Operations Command Brigadier General Yahia Rasool on Thursday denied reports circulated by news agencies on ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's delivering a farewell speech to his militants urging them either to blow up themselves or escape after ISIS defeat in Mosul battles.

The Iraqi commander  termed such reports as "camouflage" to influence the morale of the militants who are suffering successive defeats in the embattled city of Mosul.

In statements to the press, Brigadier General Rasool said Baghdadi is currently being chased by the Iraqi intelligence and if any information on his whereabouts were confirmed, a special operation will be launched to seize him.

Whether Baghdadi escaped from Iraq or not, Rasool said, the terrorist group has already been defeated in Iraq and the Iraqi are continuing their advance to retake the city and chase out the remnants of the militants out of the city which has been under their control since June 2014.

He asserted that operations are going on according to the outlined schemes, taking into consideration safeguarding the lives of civilians along with reducing the losses as much as possible.

Military plans outlined by the Iraqi Army has placed the Iraqi citizen on top of priorities, he added.

Iraqi Joint Troops have also future plans to uproot the organization from western Mosul and other surrounding areas under the control of the terrorists in al-Huweija and Euphrates upstream after the end of current battle to liberate the western bank of Mosul, the Iraqi commander noted.

On February 19th, the Iraqi Army launched a massive operation to retake the western side of Mosul. Iraqi Army is backed by US-led coalition forces which have provided an aerial coverage for the Iraqi joint troops.

The source asserted that "Shura al-Mujahedeen" council leaders have all escaped from Nineveh and Tal Afar to Syrian territories, pointing out that ISIS leaders who are close to al-Baghdadi are moving at the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

Al-Baghdadi also ordered the shutdown of "Diwan al-Muhajreen w al-Jund" (the office for soldiers and immigrants) and made his foreign followers to choose either to escape and return to their countries or blow up themselves against the Iraqi troops to win what he claimed as a heavenly reward of as many as 72 Hoor Al-iyan (women of paradise), the source added.

The source revealed that al-Baghdadi ordered to withdraw "prince" title from ISIS leaders in the left bank of Mosul after their defeat from the advancing Iraqi security Forces.

Baghdadi's speech came in the wake of advancement of Iraqi troops on main axes of Mosul city, the last stronghold of ISIS in Iraq which has been under the control of the terrorist group since June 2014.

If they really want to blow themselves up, I am sure the Trump administration can set aside money in the budget to buy all the explosives they need.  As long as they have proper supervision when putting the explosive vests together.

Why Orientalists Ross said of the sermon "farewell" al-Baghdadi in Mosul?

Why Orientalists Ross said of the sermon "farewell" al-Baghdadi in Mosul?

Twilight News / newspaper "Moskovsky Komsomolets" touched upon "his farewell address," attributed to al-Baghdadi; noting that a third country will house the gunmen in the event of their departure from Syria and Iraq.

And broadcast television channel issued a statement attributed to the Iraqi leader "Daesh" Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, calling on his supporters to cease hostilities. To date, there is nothing to confirm the validity of this statement. Does this mean that the war in Syria and Iraq is over? The newspaper went to the Russian orientalists and asked them to explain what is behind this appeal.

- Al-Baghdadi has admitted defeat in his appeal regulation in the recent fighting, and called on his supporters to retreat towards the mountains.

Andrei Serenko said that it was premature to confirm the validity of this statement, because it does not have "Daesh" site in the network "Twitter". However, there are people who are connected directly to "Caliph", but does not have any positions to confirm or deny this statement. And it is not excluded that this is one of the elements of psychological warfare on the Edit Mosul battles. Regulation has proven combat capabilities and vast experience in the fight battles and being able to resist the Iraqi forces and Kurdish units that attack Mosul. This resistance can be broken this way.

The Orientalist Kirill confirms confidence in the validity of this statement. He says that "the greatest battles in Palmyra, according to our expectations will be freed today or tomorrow. And" Daesh "incur heavy losses not only here, but what is going on in Palmyra is a clear indication.

- It is too early to talk about the end of the war

Serenko adds that supporters of the "Caliphate" will resort to the mountains actually, this does not mean the end of their project. We can fight the battles in Iraq and Syria Mountains. Here it must be said that "al-Qaeda" is pro-president to eliminate "Daesh" and other terrorist groups. This is one of the elements of the struggle to win the young blood and new powers. "And that" the elimination of "Daesh" in the hands of the coalition is very convenient for "al-Qaeda". "

This view is supported Kirill, is likely to "go militants regulation to the mountains, to the lack of another option they have, where there will have enough time to muster their forces and decide what Saamlonh later, because the future plans vague, has chosen a new area."

- I have repeatedly announced, "jihadists" in their appeals to their target Russia. Now, at this stage, their activity could turn into supporters of the war, does Russia will become a target for terrorists?

Serenko answer that "counter-terrorism system works wonderfully for us, so I do not think the occurrence of terrorist activity and widespread in our country. But we must remember that in addition to the organization of cells, there are people who sympathize with them, and share their ideology. These are the most dangerous elements, and these particular become terrorists alone . they do not receive remittances do not come into contact with representatives of the "Daesh", so the discovery of their activity is difficult. well, you can not say that al-Baghdadi, the statement indicates that "Daesh" will leave the Middle East. "

And "may form" Daesh "during the years of its existence a large number of branches in the world, including Libya, Indonesia and the Philippines. We must remember that if he left the organization Syria, there is a replacement. And is currently being repeated events in Iraq in Indonesia and the Philippines, where he attacked and state institutions, police stations . the experience of combat and earn people and recruit them and methods of their attacks and the dissemination of propaganda not evaluated well although it has proved its effectiveness during these years. so it is very likely the emergence of successor organization. "

This is were the fighting is going to get tough. Once you are surrounded you really only have 3 options., fight, surrender, or make yourself a human bomb. It still can be quick for most of their supplies will be ate up pretty quick by the pressure being put on them. The key is getting every single one and not letting any slip out of the noose.    They need to be captured and made an example of.

MOSUL — Iraqi forces claimed they have captured the Islamic State (IS) leader Abubakir al-Baghdadi's cousin who is also a high-ranking member of the group.

He was captured on Friday in Josaq district in west Mosul where the Iraqi troops are closing in on IS after having liberated the eastern half of the city.

The Iraqi Joint Operations Command recently stated that the intelligence service units are monitoring Baghdadi's movements in Mosul where he is trapped without any means of escape.

Over the past two days, another top commander of the group was captured and seven others killed by the US-led coalition airstrikes on Friday.

According to Iraqi and US military officials, most of the IS leaders close to Baghdadi have been eliminated which proves to be a major blow to the leadership of the extremist group.
