Luigi1
The IQD bills are torn, worn out, tapped together, frayed, dog eared and falling appart. To make matters worse...the banks are calling USD off of the streets. Iraqi consumers do not have any currency to spend. What should GOI and CBI do about it? Luigi1
Move in more car bombs That is exactly what is going on right now. The citizens are ripping the country appart. Buy mine. I have a few new ones. A little more than 1170 to the dollar though. Right now crisp uncirculated IQD must be worth their weight in gold. 1

Luigi1
Luigi.....did you think about what your stating before posting it? Dont you think its pretty far fetched that there is no currency on the streets?? Go to Iraq Business News archives last Monday or Tuesday. There have been several articles on this in passed. It was reported after The bank pulled the USD off of the streets Iraqis were complaining of a dire shortage of IQD and what was available was falling appart. It is a catch 22. UN told Iraq it must use its own currency or face possible C7 sanctions come Jan. They remove USD to comply yet have nothing to replace it with. That is the dilema. how i wish what you you saying is true Luigi Rumored by some Gurus...the small denoms have been seen along with the coins.

The mom and pop small shops were protesting for some time of the inability to make change with their customers. They even resorted to ripping a 10K in half to make change for a 5K. This has been in Iraq news more than once in recent days. I hope this ismtrue. It will force CBI to take fastermaction.
