  1. Hooray hooray, the 17th of May! As the title implies - this is just a random post, because I felt like sharing some thoughts. Enjoy! Real Estate, Crypto, Dinar Social media sites aren’t a big part of my life these days, but reading what the public has to say about real estate, crypto, and a few other things is a good way to keep your finger on the pulse. Something jumped out at me early this morning as I was perusing the comments of the peanut gallery… you’ll see why I use that term in a second One person mentioned bitcoin, and another responded “Oh, I missed that ship”. I can understand why they would say that – BTC was around $29,000 when I looked at it yesterday. That’s a long way from the ATH (all time high) of over $68,000! But here is something I would almost guarantee… that same person probably said “I missed that ship” when BTC dropped from $1238 in 2013. Then they said the same thing after the next cycle, and the next "crash". And they said the same thing in 2018… And now they said it again today, and that mentality… that logic… is why they will always miss the crypto ship and every other ship that isn’t a guaranteed win. While many of us have and will make boatloads of money in the crypto space, that person (those people) will just keep on "missing the ship". Should you buy Bitcoin or any other Crypto right now? I can’t tell you that. Personally, I’ll continue to keep it on my radar (and yes, I am buying a little more today), but I can’t tell you what YOU should do. Real estate – another comment in another group was from someone who states: I’m not going to get into a long discussion about why this isn’t 2008, how lending regulations are completely different than the last huge crash, how inflation and irresponsible government spending and building regulations and population growth and housing shortage and… I could go on for a while, but I’ll just say this: In 2018, at a pretty key point in our current real estate market, I had many real estate investor friends tell me “this isn’t the time to keep buying real estate… a crash is coming.” They said the same thing though 2019… then through 2020… then through 2021… and they are still saying it today. My guess is they will continue to say it through 2022, and 2023, and at least partway through 2024. I’ll revise my current outlook on these things, based on what happens today, tomorrow, and beyond. Am I telling anyone here to invest in Real Estate, or Crypto, or Dinar? NOPE. I don’t know what’s right for you, and I won’t tell you what to do with your time, money, or anything else. Here’s what I will say: When BTC was at $10, I believed in it. When BTC was around $700, I recommended it to the good people here on DV. I did that based on 1. The fundamentals and 2. My understanding of it and 3. A little bit of calm, detached, rational thinking and reasoning, based on my understanding of the world, people, and economics. Because I believed in it, I continued buying in, and it’s worked out very well. When the Real Estate market was going bonkers in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021… same thing. At this point, BTC could go to $0 and I will still have came out ahead – because I bought, sold, took profits, and stayed the course through the cycles. Many of our VIP members are in the exact same boat. Real Estate will never go to $0, but what if we were to see another 2008 and it loses 15 or 20% overnight? Anyone who’s invested right since 2008, 2012, 2013 or even 2013 has had ample time to double their money, so an overnight loss of even 40% (more than 2008!) will still possibly be UP... can your 401k say that? At this point, you have been reading for a few minutes. We have shared some time together, and you know this hasn’t really been about Dinar… but at the same time, you also know it is all about Dinar. Those people that make comments about missing the ship on Crypto, and those people that have been running around like “Chicken Little” or Marvin from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy ( )... well, you can lead a horse to water, but I'm going to laugh at you if you try to force it to drink. So, bring on the comments about how long you've been waiting. Tell us all about how Iraq "never does anything", or this whole idea is bonkers, or how the market is going to crash. I'm going to keep on keeping on, and just like with Crypto and Real Estate... I'll save my "I told you so's", because those people won't listen anyway. The fundamentals that first got me into the Dinar are still there, and in fact, they are stronger than they were when I first got in. I'm sticking this one out. Oh.... GO RRRRRVVVVVVVV!!!! P.S. VIP / OSI - keep an eye out for an email and a couple posts in the VIP/OSI sections.

RON ** MilitiaMan Article: "The Central Bank of Iraq 75 years in the face of economic challenges" The take away I see is they have accomplished the necessary goals to get them to the advanced stage of going into a market economy...They have been taken out of the Gray area, removed from sanctions of Chapter VII, accomplished E-Government, E-Payments and Automated the borders and ports and increased revenues outside of oil..[Post 1 of 2] ** MilitiaMan When the Central Bank talks we should listen. 6. UN chief calls for dialogue between Erbil, Baghdad over oil 21 minutes ago Chenar Chalak SHARE ON FACEB SHARE ON TWITT SHARE IRAQ Representatives of the Iraqi federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government hold talks regarding the Region's oil issue on April 11, 2022 in Baghdad. Photo: Iraqi Oil Ministry/Facebook ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The United Nations (UN) Secretary-General urged Erbil and Baghdad to engage in “structured and regular” dialogue to resolve issues over oil and gas, a UN spokesperson told Rudaw on Tuesday, as the two governments continue to disagree on the constitutionality of the Kurdistan Region’s oil and gas law. The Kurdistan Region passed its oil and gas law in 2007, enabling it to administer and develop its own oil and gas resources. The Iraqi Federal Supreme Court’s decision found the law to be “unconstitutional” in February, therefore striking down the legal basis for the independence of the Kurdistan Region’s oil and gas sector. Erbil and Baghdad have since been at loggerheads, with both sides repeatedly refuting the other’s claims regarding the constitutionality of the law. Stephane Dujarric, the spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, stated that Guterres has renewed his call for the federal and regional government to hold talks regarding this issue, in hopes of reaching a “constitutionally based” understanding. “The Secretary-General renews his call for an institutionalized, structured and regular dialogue between the Federal Government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government leading to lasting, constitutionally based agreements on outstanding issues, including on the sharing of energy resources,” Dujarric told Rudaw’s Majeed Gly via email on Tuesday. In April, the first round of talks between the two governments on the matter proceeded positively, according to comments from representatives of both sides, but no further rounds of talks have been held since. The Kurdistan judicial council stated on Tuesday that the Region’s oil and gas law was not a violation of the Iraq constitution, and that Erbil had the right to exclusively manage fields that were found after 2005, days after the Iraqi National Oil Company claimed that the term “present fields” did not mean that the federal government would be exempted from managing future fields

  9. So Mohamad says to Jesus" I don't what's with these guys". "They keep stalling to change the world for good." Jesus replies" I know. You'd think they were all dragging a cross behind them." "Now that's slow." Mohamed says to Jesus "what do you think we should do." Jesus says I ain't going back right now they'll just crucify me again. They are crazy down there!! Once was enough. Mohamed says, I know let's call up Jehovah. Maybe he can dial up another dust storm. He is the ole pro for drought and pestilence as the vengeful God. Maybe that will create a food shortage and they have to RV, Jesus said sounds good but don't trust it. Mohammed then says," I know maybe we can just scare them a little with another dust storm to RV. So they call up Jehovah and he says.. "got you covered but I am a little rusty". Haven't worked since the Old Testament So Jehovah being the old tired wrathful God decides he has sub it out. So Jehovah calls Satin and asks him and he said" I am already on it." Been on it for a while.. like millennia" .. I can get up another dust storm." That's a piece of cake for me. I mean piece of hell. Sorry addicted to sugar Then he says "But you will have put you in queue for a few days." I am still busy in the U.S creating a drought and fires My evil geoengineers just can't alter the weather fast enough like the use to. We are short of lasers for fires right now too. "But I still got this potato head and others reeking havoc any way he can. Seems like they can keep people corrupt and stalling everything up." He has plenty of soldiers that are compromised by greed so we are good for stalling for awhile more. I can still whip another dust storm if you need. The problem is this Potato head is running out of time. He is too obvious and people are seeing the truth like my other puppet robot Joebot president In the U,S. His batteries are running out too. He is definitely not the Every Ready bunny, just the brain of a rabbit. Neither are not the sharpest Bot/puppets in the drawer. Can't even pull their stings. Just too loose. Satan closes," To be honest I am running out of Ammo here, The thing I worry about is God kicking my butt for good for ever. I think he's got my number. God is winning. Don't know how much longer I can last." And the people say AMEN!!! I couldn't resist some start of the week satire God Bless y'all at DV!! Keep the faith AND your SENSE OF HUMOR

  16. The UN is speaking the language of the people. The Iraqi people are so frustrated with these politicians and their corruption (as are most of us on this forum). The solution is get the government in place, reach an agreement on oil and gas law and move their economy forward. Those 3 steps would put Iraq in position to go international with their currency and finally RV. Somehow someone needs to get rid of Maliki. He is a cancer and a spoiler of all progress that is good in that country.

Parliament Is Studying A New Draft Of The Food Security Law 05/17/2022 The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hakim Al-Zamili, confirmed today, Tuesday, that Parliament will exclude any paragraph in the Food Security Law that can be used to waste public money. The statement added that "Al-Zamili discussed the first deputy, the draft food security law proposed by the Parliamentary Finance Committee and to be submitted for the first reading in the next session," stressing "the need to expedite support for the people's needs and secure additional allocations for the ration card and social welfare salaries, and to meet the full needs to secure Electricity during the current summer season, as well as the farmers’ dues, the allocations of the oil-producing governorates, the construction of hospitals and schools, and the rehabilitation of roads.” Al-Zamili’s media office stated in a statement received by “Earth News” that “Al-Zamili chaired a meeting of the Parliamentary Legal Committee, to discuss the provisions of the proposed law prohibiting normalization and establishing relations with the Zionist entity and its maturation for the second reading, as well as studying a new draft of the proposed food security law that was submitted by the Finance Committee. RON ** CharlieOK Just saw the article...on the federal court's latest revelation. On the surface it seems like it might be a good thing. Looks like there is more pressure than ever to form a real govt...not a caretaker govt. If the CG [caretaker govt.] is formed, the enactment of the food law would be illegal according to the federal court. The federal court said a caretaker govt. can NOT enact laws. Why is this a good thing, then?..[post 1 of 2] ** CharlieOK Because it puts more pressure on forming a real govt. And, if that is unable to be done, and a CG is formed, it takes you right back to the budget which is ALREADY enacted. The CG simply uses funds from the budget and goes on down the road...I can't wait to see if a scenario of a CG running Iraq off of the already enacted and approved budget, is good enough for the CBI. If not, the can look like it has been kicked..[post 2 of 2]

  24. Kurdistan refuses to hand over oil and gas to Baghdad Monday 16 May 2022 359 Baghdad: Omar Abdul Latif Since the issuance of the Federal Supreme Court’s decision in mid-February, which imposed on the Kurdistan region to hand over oil and gas production to the federal government, the regional government has refused to implement the decision and accused unnamed parties of “politicizing” the file and removing it from its legal and constitutional content. On the other hand, members of the House of Representatives were accused The Iraqi government of the region disregards the decisions of the Federal Court and the export of oil at the expense of the Iraqi state’s share in the “OPEC” organization, as well as the control of oil fields and wells in Kirkuk. A member of the Oil, Gas and Natural Resources Committee in the House of Representatives, Alaa Sabah Al-Haidari, said in an interview with Al-Sabah: "The committee and the House of Representatives will discuss what happened from the Kurdish forces' control of important oil fields in Kirkuk." He added, "The region always seeks to annex Kirkuk to its administrative territories due to the presence of oil," noting that "the region was not satisfied with smuggling operations, which amounted to (one million barrels per day) deducted from Iraq's share in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). He added that "the region is evasive in order to disregard the decision of the Federal Court, despite the assurances of the Minister of Oil more than once on the necessity of its implementation," noting that "the committee completely rejects what is happening from the seizure of oil wells in Kirkuk, considering that Iraq's oil belongs to all The people, not for a particular component or province.” Al-Haidari stressed, "The insistence of the majority of parliament members to pass the oil and gas law during the current session after it was suspended for more than 12 years to curb abuses of oil policy." The North Oil Company announced yesterday evening that Kurdish forces had taken control of a number of oil fields and wells in Kirkuk Governorate, while the regional government denied this. On the other hand, the deputy head of the Energy and Natural Resources Committee in the Kurdistan Regional Parliament, Kalizar Rashid Sindi, described the statements regarding the Kurdish forces’ control of a number of fields in the Kirkuk governorate as “political par excellence,” indicating that negotiations are still ongoing between the regional and federal governments regarding the oil file. . Sindi told "Al-Sabah": "The Federal Court's decision regarding preventing the region from exporting oil through its territory and limiting it to the Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) is political and relied on constitutional articles issued after the nationalization of oil in 1973 under the totalitarian regime at the time," noting that "the Oil Law And gas has not been legalized so far, despite the dependence of 93% of Iraq's budget on oil." She pointed out that there is a conflict in the statements of the Minister of Oil, who spoke about the legality of 80% of the oil contracts for the region, "but then he talked about the application of the court's decision by the federal government regarding the region in the event of its non-compliance," stressing that "the court has the right to cancel a paragraph or Two paragraphs of the aforementioned law and not all articles related to that. For his part, the oil expert, Mustafa Bazarkan, stated that "the dispute between the Kurdistan region and the center is due to the first approval of its own oil and gas law, and the disruption of the project that has been in the House of Representatives since 2004." He added in an interview with "Al-Sabah", that "Iraq has become between the hammer of Erbil and the anvil of Baghdad with regard to oil issues," explaining that "the dispute between the region and the center will continue until the adoption of the oil and gas law, which will oblige the two parties to apply it and prosecute those who violate its articles." The oil expert warned that "no governorate, including the Kurdistan region, has the right to control natural resources and wealth, but sometimes it gives itself the right to do so," noting that "there is a confusion in the interpretation and understanding of the oil and gas law in granting the region 18% of the budget." 29. Is Iraq In The Bible? 2,210 views May 10, 2022 The Incredible Journey Iraq is a fascinating and beautiful country with a rich heritage. It's often been called the 'cradle of civilization' and was the home of the magnificent hanging gardens of Babylon, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. The gardens were built by King Nebuchnezzar - the great warrior king of Babylon for his wife, Amytis. Now King Nebuchnezzar's fame goes further than the building of the hanging gardens. He is legendary for conquering the lands from Babylon to the Mediterranean Sea, sacking Jerusalem and capturing its people. What is surprising is that all of these conquests are recorded in the Bible. During Bible times, this great ancient city of Babylon, mentioned 280 times in the Bible, was the capital of the area called Mesopotamia, also known as the Land of Shinar, the fertile land between the two rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates. Some of the people in the Bible lived in this area and there are many references in the Bible about the events that happened in ancient Iraq. Let's look at some of them. The Garden of Eden was in Mesopotamia, between the two rivers, the Tigris and the Euphrates, and is considered the cradle of civilization. Genesis 1 Noah built the ark in Iraq. Genesis 5 & 6 The Tower of Babel was built in Iraq. Genesis 11 Abraham, the father of the three monotheist world religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, was from Ur, and today called Nasiriya is in southern Iraq. Genesis 11 Isaac's wife Rebekah is from Nahor, in Iraq. Genesis 24 Jacob met Rachel in Haran, which was in Mesopotamia, Iraq. Genesis 29 Jonah, a prophet, warned the people of impending disaster in Ninevah in Iraq. Jonah 1 Amos, the prophet, foretold that Assyria in Iraq would conquer the ten northern tribes of Israel. Amos 1 The Assyrians, from northern Iraq, conquered the ten northern tribes of Israel. 2 Kings 17 Nebuchadnezzar, the great king of Babylon, came from Iraq. Nebuchadnezzar and his army attacked Jerusalem three times. Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Solomon's Temple. Nebuchadnezzar's army took Daniel, his three friends and many other Jewish people captive and marched them back to Babylon. Daniel 1 Daniel faced the lion's den in Iraq. Daniel 6 The three Hebrews, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were in the fiery furnace in Iraq. Daniel 3 King of Babylon, Belshazzar, saw the 'writing on the wall'. Daniel 5 The Medes and Persians overthrew the Babylonian kingdom. Daniel 5 Ezekiel, the prophet, the book's protagonist in the Bible called Ezekiel, lived and was buried in Al Kifl in southern Iraq. Ezekiel Peter, the apostle, travelled to Iraq. I Peter 5:13 Many believe that the wise men who visited baby Jesus came from Iraq. Matthew 2:1,2.

I found in my early days of buying and holding Dinar and Cryptocurrency that I met so many naysayers and listened to their negative comments that I decided not to express a positive or negative opinion about it to anyone. However as I’m ageing by the day I am hoping that I will eventually realise gain in either the Dinar or Crypto in the not to distant future that I may live out my days relaxing stress free. 34. Blackshart: Iraqi politicians have no desire to resolve differences Al Hurra - Washington May 17 2022 Blackshart said that "ignoring the basic needs of the Iraqi people is obvious." The United Nations envoy to Iraq, Jeanine Plasschaert, said on Tuesday that "there is no desire among Iraqi politicians to reach an agreement that ends the political crisis" in the country. The envoy promised that "ignoring the basic needs of the Iraqi people is obvious." Plasschaert added that "political divisions continue in the Kurdistan region, and more clearly than before." She pointed out that "Iraq lacks a mechanism to resolve the differences between Baghdad and Erbil." On Tuesday, an Iraqi court issued an order to summon the former foreign minister, Hoshyar Zebari, for "repeatedly offending the judiciary," according to the official Iraqi News Agency (INA). Zebari was the Kurdistan Democratic Party's candidate for the presidency, before the Federal Court canceled his candidacy on the grounds that his reputation was tarnished due to his dismissal on corruption charges, during his administration of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance. Political tension is increasing in Iraq following the exchange of statements between the leader of the current parliamentary majority, Muqtada al-Sadr, and his rivals from the forces of the Shiite coordination framework. And on Monday, al-Sadr accused his rivals of "love of power" and doing "disgraceful acts", while they replied that his statements were "misleading." He was supposed to elect a new president of the republic in February, a month after the first session of parliament was held, last January, but the difference of Kurdish blocs between a supporter of renewing the mandate of the current Iraqi president, Barham Salih, who are members of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and opponents of the renewal of the party bloc Democrats, led to the union joining the "blocking third" as it is called. The Iraqi parliament in March also failed to elect a new president. Al-Sadr's alliance managed to pass Muhammad Al-Halbousi to the presidency of the parliament, but it has so far been unable to gather enough representatives to pass a candidate for the presidency. 44. Oil expert: An international resolution will suppor t Baghdad in controlling the region's oil next July Time: 05/15/2022 22:43:33 Reading: 897 times {Economic: Al Furat News} The oil expert, Nabil Al Marsoumi, revealed a decision by the International Commercial Court that will support Baghdad in controlling the oil of the Kurdistan region next July. Al Marsoumi said; For the (Unannounced) program broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel on Sunday evening, that: “The Kurdistan Regional Government’s objection to the interpretation of the Federal Court in the joint management of the oil file, and the region has signed contracts since 2002 for the exploitation of energy fields and some northern oil fields, including in Bay Hassan, which is from The outbreak of the dispute with the center." He added, "The oil and gas law of the region legislated that oil exports must be delivered to the center, and the decision of the Federal Court regarding the region's oil obligates the Federal Oil Ministry to take measures, including freezing the region's financial balances in international banks." Al-Marsoumi pointed out that "the decision of the International Commercial Court will issue a ruling next July, and we believe it will be in favor of the center." He continued, "The decision of the Federal Court to hold matters between Baghdad and Erbil, meaning if the ministry does not take a decision, things will remain unresolved, and I imagine the region technically unable to deliver Baghdad one barrel because of the partnership contracts subject to the management of foreign companies." Al-Marsoumi went on to say, “The share of the Kurdistan region is less than half, and the share of foreign companies is up to 54%,” adding, “Israel imports from Kurdistan 62,000 barrels of oil per day, according to international reports, directly, and it is a fact. He stressed that "there is no solution but to have a joint administration of the oil fields in the region, as well as the gas fields. It is shameful for Iraq to import gas and the region to export it." Al-Marsoumi added, "The gas file is one of the most dangerous energy files, and we fear that the Kurdistan region will enter security, and if gas enters Turkey and compete with Iranian gas in the Turkish market, there will be security risks, and the region must think well about this security and integration with Baghdad, because the issue concerns Iraqi national security before economic security." And the oil expert concluded, "Baghdad has very effective means of pressure on the region, including in the event of winning a lawsuit to prevent Turkey from using the oil tanker line to Kurdistan by the International Commercial Court in July, then there is no outlet for it to export."
