Been a while since I aired my thoughts and beliefs on where we are in our investment, and so since I can't sleep, seemed like a great time. I have been in this investment almost five years now. In that length of time I think I have just about seen and heard it all. I have had my highs and my lows and right now, I would have to say I'm as high ( no,not drinking or drugging) as a Georgia pine! Why? Because after years of agony, I feel that we are about to finally end this long and decrepid journey. I am just finding out that so many of my good friends that I have made here, and when I was moderating at that other site (which shall remain nameless) have gotten out and it just breaks my heart. Don't misunderstand , everyone must live by their own convictions and do what is best for them. I get that. It's just that I feel we are closer than flies on a garbage truck. We have been told for years that as we entered the final leg of the journey, there would be tons of mis-information. Well....I think we got it. In the last 3 day's alone, I have seen 4 seperate mainstream media articles come out telling us what a bad risk the dinar is. LOL, I love it!! What do you expect them to say? Hurry! Go buy dinar? Hardly. They are only saying what our govt wants the average Joe to hear. Remember my friends, we were never supposed to be a part of this to begin with. In the past week directives were sent down from every bank you can name saying; STOP SELLING NOW!! Well, are you not a tiny bit curious as to why? The dinar is no longer just about Iraq. We are now in the middle of global economic chaos unlike the world has ever seen. Don't misunderstand, the dinar alone cannot fix the worlds economic problems, however we are at a point where (IMO) the world doesn't stand a chance without Iraq. They have become a huge ( perhaps the biggest) piece of the solution. It was only a couple of weeks ago when the whole world was going down, no money to be found, then suddenly, two weeks later, everyone is gonna be ok? Please, give me a break! Just where do you think this mysterious money came from? Look at the enormous amount of debt that Iraq owed to almost everyone in the world. The U.S. , China, Germany, Russia, Japan, to name a mere few. These and other countries have forgiven as much as 80% of this debt. Now why would we do that? Because we are all wonderful people with kind and forgiving spirits? LOL, heck no! Because we are all holding dinar and all have agreements with Iraq that will save our poorly managed financial arses thats why! When this revalues, ( and I believe with all my heart that it will and is imminent) the debt we all forgave is a drop in the bucket compared to the profits our greedy little countries will reep! I have one source ( and one source only) of rather highly placed intel. They told me once in almost 5 years that this would end by the end of October. Well, it didn't. A lot of last minute ( global, political snags) kept that from happening. I know of at least three key meetings that had to take place that were postponed at the last minute. Did this cause the dates to change? Of course. Look, I'm no guru, neither is my source of information, but this is an extremely fluid situation, unlike any the world has ever known, or will ever see again in our lifetimes. Here is my point....( finally huh)? Most of us have been here a long time. We have heard multiple predictions as to when and how much. None has ever come to pass. My friends, I'm begging you; Don't give up now, not when this is almost over. I can not give you a definate rate or date. Well, actually I could, but I won't. I fully expect this to be completely over, and your money in the bank prior to Thanksgiving. Could I be wrong? No! ( Lol, jus kiddin) of course I could be wrong. This is Iraq we're talking about, but not just Iraq. Now it's the whole world. It must be, and will be done. Those of you that hang in will reap your reward! The entire point of this rambling of mine is to hopefully keep you in this. I know people are hurting, I know the holidays are upon us. Want them to be good? Then I'm begging ya....hold out a bit longer. I do not think this will go into the holidays. By now you may all be saying, "RSS has finally gone over the edge". Maybe so, maybe not. Remember #1, everything you buy will be taxed yearly either in Real estate taxes, sales taxes and or personal property taxes and if you live in one of the States with State Income taxes you will pay the State on all interest earned and on the principal Amount when it is received initially. Think about this statement. Move to a State that has the lesser of the applicable taxes, this is a must. If you do not do this the State will eat up your rewards inside of 10 years, really!!!! Places like NY and CA will eat it up in 6 years. All States are creating new taxes daily to preserve their bloated Bureaucracies under the guise of service. [bondLady] 4. Invest the remaining 85% [after taxes] in safe high paying interest insured CD’s etc. Look out side the US for the best rates Panama is paying up to 7% on large CD’S 70,000 per year on a million dollars worth of CD’s. Dubai is paying up to 10% on the same amounts, Check Cyprus as they have been in the 10% bracket also. Pay interest to a debit account, spend and live on the interest with a Debit card. Then if you have enough Dinar to cash in there could be a lot of interest to be almost as exorbitant as you like living the life of Riley so to speak. A 10M savings off shore could bring you interest of $700,000 to more than 1M a year in income. Can you live high on the Hog with that? [bondLady] 5. Lower your profile, do not flaunt your new wealth as the tort laws in this country allow Trial Attorneys to target you as a defendant. Trial or Tort lawyers are the only profession that never contribute to society but just create misery so they can take your rewards for your hard work. There are some good books on becoming invisible, buy one and follow as much as you feel comfortable. [bondLady] 6. Contribute to Charity on a fixed rate yearly; do not over contribute as they [most] spend money like drunken sailors as they contribute increasingly lower subsidies to the needy. [bondLady] 7. Change your lifestyle to a calmer existence; find peace and harmony with yourself. Find a compatible travel mate if you are single, travel the world into safe places and educate yourself to there way of life as it helps you understand how they think and rationalize. Above all think each move through, In the 1960′s I taught a course we designed on thinking for corporate management for a large Think Tank firm. We found that only 3% think, 12 % think they think and the rest just blunder through life failing to achieve any potential what so ever. This has held true even through today. Spend a little of your splurge money on obtaining good advice from more than 1 source on how to invest your money, watch out for slick talking stock brokers or mutual type funds. Pray for guidance but please do not turn into zealot as this can override your mindset to a point you will not recognize happiness when you see it. Everything in moderation with a truly happy smile and enlightened smile on you face. Be a friendly person not someone who is critical of others lifestyles and their views on faith. Now that I have laid out some advice accumulated in my 73 years on this planet, I hope each and everyone can heed this simple advice for their own well being. Well , To be brief on this call I had last night , there was a lot of interesting information discussed First thing is that all contracting jobs in regards to the State Department, nobody who works for the (company) has been offered a job or extension.Past the new year. Not a big deal considering Dynacor and ITT are plucking these guys up left right , sending em to afghanistan. But in true (company) fasion they wont let these guys go home or DEMOB if you will.Holding them back because of visa issues ....never happened before, ever .... Also , very interesting , my former supervisor has been transfered to FOB hammer to build up the helo mission ,not sure why since this base is pretty much all military personel. Its actually a huge training area for the iraqis ,training on heavy armour ...tanks and stuff... so why the build up ?it is real close to the iran border,but still in iraq ? Thought that was very strange since the whole country is on fire sale status to get out of there by DEC.everything is closing or closed , PXs , mailrooms etc... And the most important , no dinar news as of yet , nothing ..no rumours no whispers no nothing. So I can expect the various forms of bashers coming my way from the internet gangsters who drink dr pepper , pop there zits and play warcraft all day to the soccer moms who think they know everything. Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide North America with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of Canadian & American labor. This year will be different. This year Canadian & Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for our other fellow citizens. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by North American hands. Yes there is! It's time to think outside the box, people. Who says a gift needs to fit in a shirt box, wrapped in Chinese produced wrapping paper? Everyone -- yes EVERYONE gets their hair cut. How about gift certificates from your local hair salon or barber? Gym membership? It's appropriate for all ages who are thinking about some health improvement. Who wouldn't appreciate getting their car detailed? Small, locally owned detail shops and car washes would love to sell you a gift certificate or a book of gift certificates. Are you one of those extravagant givers who think nothing of plonking down on a Chinese or Korean made flat-screen? Perhaps that grateful gift receiver would like his driveway sealed, or lawn mowed for the summer, or driveway plowed all winter, or games at the local golf course. There are a bazillion owner-run restaurants -- all offering gift certificates. And, if your intended isn't the fancy eatery sort, what about a half dozen breakfasts at the local breakfast joint. Remember folks, this isn't about big National chains -- this is about supporting your home town citizens with their financial lives on the line to keep their doors open. How many people couldn't use an oil change for their car, truck or motorcycle, done at a shop run by the local working guy? Thinking about a heartfelt gift for mom? Mom would LOVE the services of a local cleaning lady for a day. My computer could use a tune-up, and I KNOW I can find some young guy who is struggling to get his repair business up and running. OK, you were looking for something more personal. Local crafts people spin their own wool and knit them into scarves. They make jewelry, and pottery and beautiful wooden boxes. Buy books written by Canadian/American authors. Plan your holiday outings at local, owner operated restaurants and leave your server a nice tip. And, how about going out to see a play or ballet at your hometown theatre. Musicians need love too, so find a venue showcasing local bands. Honestly, people, do you REALLY need to buy another ten thousand Chinese lights for the house? When you buy a five dollar string of light, about fifty cents stays in the community. If you have those kinds of bucks to burn, leave the mailman, trash guy or babysitter a nice BIG tip. You see, Christmas is no longer about draining Canadian and American pockets so that China can build another glittering city. Christmas is now about caring about us, encouraging Canadian and American small businesses to keep plugging away to follow their dreams. And, when we care about other Canadians and Americans, we care about our communities, and the benefits come back to us in ways we couldn't imagine. THIS is the new European or North American or South American Christmas tradition. Forward this to everyone on your mailing list -- post it to discussion groups -- throw up a post on Craigslist in the Rants and Raves section in your city -- send it to the editor of your local paper and radio stations, and TV news departments. This is a revolution of caring about each other, and isn't that what Christmas is about?

I just talked with two of my KBR co-workers over in Iraq last week. They'll be getting their pink slips at Christmas. We have no open positions stateside to place them in. Most of the 130,000 contractors will be gone by New year except those supporting the transitional & training phase with US Military Advisors. Most that do stay will be paid in ID & paid by a different contracting firm yet to be determined to handle the post war transitional phase. Many will be placed in instructor positions. Iraq is on a military hardware spending spree & will need the after purchase support. The rest are taking on lower paying trucking jobs driving fuel & building materials from Kuwait City to Baghdad. These are still very hazardous positions as crime & corruption have made convoys lucrative targets. There was a lot of chatter on the Iraqi TV about the ID RV a few weeks ago. They told me that. Since then, nada. No mention of RV, LOP, drop dead dates. Nothing. The scuttlebutt going around, the RV may be on indefinite hold for now. The negotiations with the South & with the Kurds have reached a very delicate position. This may explain some of the lack of any RV news. This may be the calm before the storm. Please...no negatives. I'm just the messenger. Take this as good news or bad news or a little bit of both.

I have read the thread about obama's ss number. There was a comment about all cases being thrown out that implied they were tossed due to lack of merit or content. I couldn't believe how completely ignorant and misleading that was. All cases have been tossed due to "standing", and anyone that supports the rulings is either a socialist, or very ignorant of the meaning. No court has yet heard any content. NO COURT HAS EVER ALLOWED CASES TO BE HEARD. Every case has been tossed BEFORE content because all the judges have ruled the people have no standing to question the elite. This is complete hypocrisy. An officer of the court is considered a gentleman with standing, and therefore their word is accepted as truth. If you are going to claim all cases have been tossed, at least try to tell the truth. In making that ruling, the judges have declared the constitution is null and void, and the Bill of Rights is nonexistent. They are effectively declaring there is in fact a "ruling elite" that are not subject to the law, and are then allowed to break whatever law they deem justified in order to produce a controlled end. Since when do the end's justify the means? So we throw out ethics, morals, and honesty, and replace with division, oppression, and lawlessness? What the federal "judges" have done is sold their souls for a paycheck. BO has NEVER "won" a court case concerning this matter, and has only managed to destroy all state laws concerning eligibility laws with loss of federal revenue threats. Is this what you REALLY want? A POTUS that can't actually lead, but knows how to threaten, cajole, lie and cheat really well? listen, you have folks who won't tell on themselves that had no business buying dinars because of the financial situation they were in. They gambled and lost for the most part. I'm trying to understand why folks are selling. I believe they are afraid of a L0P. But why? Even it it does RD, we will (for the most part) break even. Yea there's the spread and taxes but so what? That's a nominal fee. If you spent $100 in Dinars and after a RD, you walk with $900, you lost $100 of which you can write off on your taxes. This investment is an educated gamble, so the money one can lose if nill and worth the risk. Even if one was to sell their Dinars now, you wouldn't get back 100% of what you paid, so there's that loss right there.

You see she was sorry because we weren't paying attention during dinner. The officer said there's no child abuse here, we're leaving. We were shocked of the thought of child abuse. That's the way it goes! We could have had our lives turned upside down because of a report like that... good thing the officer listened to reason.
