Please riddle me this: Why do Caucasians complain daily about racial division? Is it a fear of some sort or just something to talk about? Could be you heard it on the radio and just can't get that song out of your head? That can be frustrating huh! Issues of race have always been complicated in American history. Caucasians seem to be on the stump that our country is being divided more and more since the last election has became such an historic event for America. Some, and I do mean only some, Caucasian eyes are open wider and hate groups have resurfaced at astounding rates. Obama's presidency has put race in the forefront daily and at a greater level since the Civil Right movements of the 60s. Blacks are not looking for racial division or country division. Racial division cannot give Blacks any additional power, for the numbers are sharply in favor of the Caucasians. Could the Caucasians be pushing for racial division when they loudly utter; Watch, Wake Up America, Take Our Country Back, Obama's igniting racial division? All these things are uttered to create division and they are only uttered by one group of people. Sharpton and Jackson aren't the only ones with an agenda. Where's the truth behind Caucasians blaming others for racial division? Racial division has always come from groups outside of Blacks! Blacks wanted in and equality. I don't mean to offend anyone, but this thread has been really civil for the majority by leaving out race and has not ignited any racial division or lynch mob mentalities. Not emotionally driven and not offensive. People have posted stories of Zimmerman's and Martin's backgrounds and commented on their beliefs of justice. That's what forums do. The only issue being raised by higher law officials, as well as folks on this thread, is perhaps there is a relaxed judicial process in Sanford. Relaxed or misinterpretation of the judicial process of self defense that some thought may have been race related. I think this group has spoken their piece and now waiting on the system.

I didn't have any arguments over the unions. My question should have been "what economic factors changed the face of Detroit". We can go back further than the 60's to the riots of 1943. Detroit was known as the "Arsenal of Democracy". The color blind promotion policies of the auto plants resulted in racial tension that erupted into a full scale riot in 1943.

I checked out the link; paints a nasty picture of Martin. If that article is true the kid had issues. Still can't see how an immediate arrest is not made on the spot. Thought it was standard procedure of investigation.

Didn't Zimmerman pursue Martin and eventually cause an altercation? Per the tapes he was pursuing and from that point on, we only have Zimmerman's word that he turned to go back to his vehicle. Can anyone believe the overzealous watchman really took his eyes off of Martin or did not continue to pursue Martin farther, questioning and/or taunting him from being there? It's not an open and shut case from the spot of incident and that's why there's now an investigation.
