My opinion is this is outstanding news. I am not sure what the progress of Iraq HAS BEEN in moving through the WTO process to full ascension so why would this be presented as is now? And with Australia of all countries to import Australian wheat INTO Iraq???!!! No offense to the Aussies but this is a HUGE indication of good things relative to the upcoming reconstruction, construction, economic development, and foreign investment that Iraq will need to kick off real, real soon!!!

So, Iraq "IS dealing" "with all countries" "on the basis of" "equality of relations" "within the network" "of interests" "governed by" "international law"??? Iraq IS???

Hmmmmmmm...............................................

Maybe there has been some stuff going on behind the scenes that favors Iraq heavily (and us speculative investors as well) and is further along than the news articles have shown up until now.

So how (oh, how) is Iraq going to do real time World Trade Organization trading with a program rate Iraqi Dinar in a "closed economy" (corrupt CBI daily currency auctions as well)???

Sure has been a lot of good news lately.............................................

In The Mean Time.........................................

To me, there is too much Good News in this article to highlight key (to me) information.

What in the world would the Dutch have to do with this even going back to 1983 (35 years ago)???!!!

Maybe, just maybe, with the International Criminal Court located in Holland, there is head way with a tractable agenda to deal with international crimes committed in Iraq. Well, OK, maybe my connect-the-dots is all messed up but one HAS to wonder!!!

Iraq's ascension to the World Trade Organization as a full member would really, really be a good sign the reconstruction, construction, economic development, and foreign investment is going to rocket in a BIG way!!!

Just my conjecture, thoughts, opinion, and :twocents: for whatever THAT is worth. CAVEAT EMPTOR, Reader!!! :o

I agree since it seems extraordinary that The Netherlands is now all of a sudden involved and likely next week is an indication of how fast the International Criminal Court will act on Nouri al-Maliki’s Crimes Against Humanity at Spyker and with ushering in ISIS. Nouri al-Maliki’s immunity could expire at 00:00:01 July 1, 2018. Since he is a major culprit, there could be a lot of interest within Iraq and internationally to have Nouri al-Maliki materially removed from the scene. The news that Qasem Soleimani as a representative of Iran is promoting Nouri al-Maliki as the new Prime Minister likely does not bode well with numerous people. Iran is being strangled on numerous fronts in the region and likely will get expelled from Iraq along with all the others in Iraq who do not promote Iraq as an Independent and Soveriegn State. The Iraqi news lately has had some of the Nouri al-Maliki Crimes Against Humanity issues sprinkled in so likely still a very, very live issue to have Nouri al-Maliki and associates finally served the indictments, taken into custody, AND prosecuted.

I would like to THANK YOU, 10 Years Later AND ALL the other Veterans with those currently serving, for providing a continuous opportunity to celebrate the 4th of July!!!

I ( IMHO of course ) wouldn't be at all surprised at all with the last chime of midnight ushering in 1 July 2018, the Authorities after breaking down Maliki's front door, find him Long Gone. It might be that Soleimani pushing "M's" name forward as PM is a feint designed to throw a Monkey Wrench into the works keeping the " Pot Stirred " as it were.

If Maliki has plans to Skin Out when his immunity runs dry ( he's keeping that close to the vest ), what better way than keeping everyone preoccupied with the " Feint " while at the right time Maliki ducks out the back door.

Sounds plausible, yes ? I've got red flags waving all over the place when it comes to scurrilous scum like " M " are involved.

On the other hand, maybe he truly believes he's as Teflon Coated as Bill & Hillarious and has nothing to worry about. We'll see soon enough. Thanx for the KUDOS ole son for your much appreciated Veterans Salute for the 4th of July. We ALL appreciate the warm well wishes.

Special thanx to Families who sacrifice more than most folks will ever know, keeping it all together and the Home Fires burning while loved ones serve in so many different capacities whether it be Peacetime or in Wartime. :salute::eagle: :salute:

I'd like to think Ole Nouri al-Maliki will get the whack like Ole Slobodan Molisevik did via the International Criminal Court. Slobodan Milosevik's ICC trial started nominally two years after his exit from power while he died in prison four years later of a "heart attack". Maybe my connect-the-dots is way off but I see similarities. In this case, both Ole Nouri and Ole Slobodan are culpable of killing Muslims. So, Ole Slobodan may have helped set a precedence for Ole Nouri to speed things up for Ole Nouri. My mental model says having Ole Nouri out of commission (one way or another) will be a huge step toward ejecting all of Iran out of Iraq and quelling any potential Sectarian Violence and Civil War especially eliminating any unrest due to election results tampering. There have been Iraqi news items sprinkled here and there where Iraq is participating with International Criminal Agencies and that may be enough to jump in and get Ole Nouri when the time is right. I'm pretty sure Ole Nouri is being watched very, very closely. Qasem Soleimani's days may be numbered, too, since (apparently) the Israeli Mossad has been given the "Green Light" to take him out.

I agree with you 10YL.  If we can figure it out, I'm sure Nuri can figure it out too.
