The leader of the coordination framework, Turki Al-Atabi, confirmed on Friday the existence of a "green light" to pass the rest of the draft financial budget law.

Al-Atabi told Baghdad Today: "There are differences and divergences in views on 7 topics within the remaining items of the 2023 budget, and objective solutions were developed for five of them in meetings that began 3 hours ago in the House of Representatives in the presence of Fatah Alliance head Hadi al-Amiri and other political forces."

He added, "The coordination framework in general gave a green light to pass the remainder of the 2023 budget," ruling out "postponing the session, which will be held after eight o'clock in the evening, according to expectations."

Al-Atabi pointed out that "consensus is the master of the position in passing the 2023 budget so far," stressing that "the last meeting in the House of Representatives of representatives of political forces dealt with the bulk of differences and divergence of opinions."

The House of Representatives was scheduled to hold its session today at one o'clock in the afternoon, but it was delayed due to the continuation of consultations and talks between political forces to resolve differences in some items of the financial budget, which Parliament

began voting on some articles last night.

No Quorum, No Biggy... they'll just all head for their vacation destinations and 30 days later they'll pick up where they left off ( arguing 😞 ),it's not like Iraq is going to go missing, it'll still be there chaos & everything.

I'll be very surprised if they pull this off. 

Oh, and hold onto your Dinars Iraq, they're worth more than dollars

{Politics: Al Furat News} Representative Ali Al-Bandawi described the current parliament session as "positive" in voting on the draft financial budget law.

Al-Bindawi told {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "The House of Representatives continues to read the budget, and so far we have not reached the paragraph of their contracts canceled in the budget."
He added, "There will be a reading of the total return of those whose contracts and financial allocations have been terminated, and later the grades will be separated."
Al-Bandawi stressed that "the atmosphere is positive and things are going well so far."
