Today, Friday, a member of the House of Representatives, Firas Al-Maslamawi, identified the most prominent objected paragraphs of the draft financial budget bill.

Al-Maslamawi said in a press interview seen by “Takadum” that “the shares of the southern and central governorates were supposed to be amended in the draft financial budget law, as 2.5 trillion dinars were allocated in the first draft budget sent by the government, but we worked to amend it.”

He added, "The Finance Committee told us to amend the shares of the center and south, as they became 6 trillion dinars," noting that "we were surprised that the same percentage remained in the draft that was distributed during yesterday's session."

And the member of the House of Representatives explained, “The second matter that we have reservations about is the gathering of the coordination committee between the governorates, which does not have any duty to approve the budget, meaning that its approval and approval is one of the duties of the provincial council, and as it does not exist, it is possible.”

And Al-Maslamawi stated, “The House of Representatives is able to fill this role, and therefore the Coordination Committee between the governorates has no role in the issue of ratification, given that the authority responsible for it is the Ministry of Planning and the Provincial Council.
