gregp
This would help eliminate cashing in dinar in that region. It would reduce the payout. Sounds like he's on line with the CBI. Thanks.

skeetdog
Thanks DT...They could be dumping all the USD they can and holding on to all the IQD...this theory was indicate the increase value of the IQD. Then we really don't know what's in the budget and how it effects the different parties involved. There's a special gift the government gives the people at the end of Ramandan and it's mentioned here several times...that's what got my attention... Thanks Yota...Sorry about that replace that ''DT'' for a ''Yota''....

dontlop
When ya go from 800 billion dinar a month from the central govt budget to zero dinar a month And 7 months later your out of dinar That's how math works Could the central govt be collecting the dinar knowing they were hoarding it Who knows But if they made 7 months without dinars from the central govt before they started using dollars Ya got to admit They had quite a pile of dinar up there Maybe it was the reason for a hold up in a rv Back to who knows This Iraq story is attracting all kinds of speculations Again Who knows They are out of dinar or this is where they draw the line as to how many dinar they are going to hold for a rv
gymrat76541
You do NOT want to pay in dinar which might help make these employees rich down the road! Then you have no more employees! I like the way this is heading!
skeetdog
Let's see Mr. lost one...why would anyone, are you referrin' to me, ''think'' In bold type (PLEASE), that this year is different... Maybe that Iraq is starting and or has a new government...it could be that this year is unusual that sooo many things are being done during Ramadan...or perhaps it could be the simple fact, that was stated in my initial comment...the mere fact that it was mentioned several times. I hope this answers your arrogant response...

I suspect that they are out of spare dinar too... and they are not dealing with the CBI right now. They know there will be more US dollars in the future coming from oil sales... As far as the dinar's exchange rate goes... the less out on the street... the higher the dinar rate will go for exchanges. I don't see how this would mean an RV for them or us... Why would the Kurds want to be the only ones to pay us?
