Carrello
My link A LONG List of President Obama’s Accomplishments – With Citations September 1, 2012 By Milt Shook Republished with permission from PleaseCutTheCrap.typepad.com If you’re one of those folks who thinks President Obama is a “disappointment,” you haven’t been paying attention the last few years. And those of you who try to draw comparisons with the Bush Administration should put away the hallucinogens and have your memory checked. If you were in a coma for the eight Bush Years, I apologize and forgive you. But please join the real world. So far, this president has done most of what he said he would do if elected; imagine what he could have done by now if progressives had supported him and not given him a Congress that doesn’t look at him as if he’s the demon seed. Not only is he NOT a “disappointment,” he’s pretty much the opposite. And no, I don’t just say that because he took out Osama bin Laden, helped Libya determine their own destiny for the first time in a while, and because he seems able to handle international incidents without starting a new war. The guy does nearly everything we elect a president to do, and he doesn’t brag about it constantly. Is he perfect? No, he’s human. Does he deserve some criticism? I suppose, but I must admit I haven’t seen any complaints that were of based on anything having to do with the real world. One I can’t forgive him for is pulling Janet Napolitano out of Arizona. But the thing is, on balance, he’s mostly stellar. Besides, criticism about certain specific problems is one thing; taking on an overall “Obama sucks” meme not only has the potential to put Willard Romney into power, it’s also a lie. Just because you wanted a president who would give you a glitter-farting unicorn and didn’t quite get that doesn’t mean he’s not doing well at the job we hired him for. What follows is a PARTIAL list of Obama’s accomplishments so far. Unlike many such lists, there is a link to a citation supporting every single one. Legislative Prowess Despite the characterizations of some, Obama’s success rate in winning congressional votes on issues was an unprecedented 96.7% for his first year in office. Francie26
Me, too, dontlop. I didn't vote for Obama, not because I wanted McCain to be president, but because, for reasons even I didn't understand back then, I simply didn't trust Obama, and since he has been in office, he has given me reason time after time to support my fears. He has lied over and over to the American people, and personally, he is a loser--he even stoops to going after individual Americans who disagree with him. Even as the president of the greatest nation on earth, he can't rise above this cr^p. In fact, he is above nothing. He has circumvented congress time after time with Executive Orders. His Attorney General is even now attempting to further circumvent congress regarding Fast and Furious, again with the support of another of Obama's Executive Orders. His cabinet and his czars are mostly radicals, including among them communists, socialists, at al. And he has sued Arizona to force his agenda on that state. And what is that agenda? In this instance it is to allow illegal immigrants free access to cross America's borders. What I can't understand is why any American would support him in this dangerous game. In fact, Carrello, you are now another of my personal "Obama" disappointments. Sadly, I have no citations for my comments, just my personal opinions, but I do have the same right to a powerful American vote as those who cite long lists. And my vote will be for the American.
djhardrock
This long list of accolades is great! However Obama was elected to fix the housing crisis and unemployment situation. He's done neither. He spent 5 trillion dollars to accomplish nothing. Also he and Eric Holder used 10 million dollars from the 5 Trillion Dollar stimulus to fund "Fast & Furious". That program sent 2,000 high powered weapons into the hands of the most deadliest Mexican Cartels which obviously ended in the taking of the life of Brian Terry. We will never know how many LIVES that program approved by Eric Holder and condoned by Obama costs American. Give me one good reason why something like this was created? and why is it being protected by Obama's Executive Order? Not to mention an additional 500 million dollars given to Solyndra (the green energy) corporation (whom had donated heavily to Obama) which in turn went totally bankrupt 5 months later. Let's add that one up, they (Solyndra) lost 100 million dollars per month for 5 months in row. Your list is means nothing in the face of this stupidity. Obama lost the ability to govern in a bi-partisan matter in his first meeting (January 23, 2009) when he told the Republican's "I won". Then he walks around dumbfounded why he can't get Republican cooperation. He believes governing is like checkers when it more like chess. You have to sacrifice pieces to win. The ecconomy simply can't withstand another 4 years of Obama, we can not borrow another 5 Trillion dollars from China to experiment. He wants to use rich people like a "piggy bank" to spend more money when it has already been proven that he can't spend money effectively. He states that rich people should chip in their fair share. That statement divides people. Money is now being used to discriminate against people. First Bush's fault, Then Tea Party's fault, now Rich peoples fault. Everyone created this fiscal crisis, because we are supposedly equal. Unemployment for Americans is at 10 percent and he has the bright idea to given "undocumented immigrants" work permits to dump 2 - 4 million "illegal aliens" into an already strained employment situation. sfredieu
when you are making decissions for a nation their is no possible way to make everyone happy and thats what we have here, when in reality no matter who the president is, their are going to be naysayers about him.but none of you guys that are talking crap about our president cant even manage their own lives let alone a country.one thing you need to understand the president is just a puppet in the grand scheme of things, and the real shot callers are the ones that makes the real decisions so if you think that Obama or Bush put us in this situation you are in a fantasy world cause both of them are doing what they are told to do.so if you vote for Romny or Obama the country is still going to continue down the path the real shot callers decided it should go in..
DinarMillionaire
10 disasters America will face if Obama gets a second term Marc Thiessen | March 5th, 2012 In today’s Washington Post, I argue that while electing a transformational conservative president may not be in the cards this November, stopping a transformational liberal president still is. The damage of a second Obama term could be potentially irrevocable. I asked a number of conservative thinkers what they feared most from a second term, and compiled this list of the top ten disasters that would befall America if Obama were re-elected this fall: 1. Obamacare will not be repealed. 2. The unprecedented levels of spending in Obama’s first four years will become the new floor, as America sets new records for fiscal profligacy and debt. 3. Job creators will face massive tax increases, and more Americans will come off the tax rolls—resulting in fewer citizens with a stake in keeping taxes low and more with a stake in protecting benefits. 4. Government dependency, already at record levels, will continue to grow. 5. Four lost years in dealing with the entitlement crisis will become eight—digging us into a hole from which we may not be able to emerge. 6. Obama, unworried about the impact of gas and electricity prices on his reelection, will finally wage the regulatory war on fossil fuels the Left demands. 7. He will unleash the Environmental Protection Agency to impose crushing new burdens on U.S. business. 8. His administration’s assault on religious freedom will go on and expand to new areas. 9. The Defense Department will be gutted, with cuts so deep that America will no longer be a superpower. 10. Obama could have the opportunity to appoint more liberal Supreme Court justices, ending the Roberts court in all but name for a generation. This is, of course, not a complete list—not by a long shot. I’d be interested what readers and my fellow AEI scholars think: What’s missing from this litany of impending disasters? 4

Racial Domination, Racial Progress: The Sociology of Race in America by Matthew Desmond and Mustafa Emirbayer (Oct 8, 2009) Summary Book Description Publication Date: October 8, 2009 | ISBN-10: 0072970510 | ISBN-13: 978-0072970517 | Edition: 1 Racial Domination, Racial Progress: The Sociology of Race in America looks at race in a clear and accessible way, allowing students to understand how racial domination and progress work in all aspects of society. Examining how race is not a matter of separate entities but of systems of social relations, this text unpacks how race works in the political, economic, residential, legal, educational, aesthetic, associational, and intimate fields of social life. Racial Domination, Racial Progress is a work of uncompromising intersectionality, which refuses to artificially separate race and ethnicity from class and gender, while, at the same time, never losing sight of race as its primary focus. The authors seek to connect with their readers in a way that combines disciplined reasoning with a sense of engagement and passion, conveying sophisticated ideas in a clear and compelling fashion. and a Review of his book!! If Whites are anything other than anti-White they are sent to coventry and even thrown in prison but its perfectly fine for people like deranged Desmond and his immigrant sidekick to be anti-White, go figure. Maybe its time the Whites stoppped putting up with the endless abuse emanating from people such as these, abuse that so called academia deems acceptable because it is anti-White. Maggie123
Middle East in further turmoil, possibly WW3 as Israel will fight alone to defend themselves. Actually, Leaving Israel to decide whether they want to fight alone or not is what will prevent World War III. If we decide to join them in starting WWIII... nothing else everyone is complaining about would amount to a hill of beans. JMHO

I’d be interested what readers and my fellow AEI scholars think: What’s missing from this litany of impending disasters? I predict.... Hyperinflation and collapse of the dollar (and our economy). Civil unrest ( we are only 9 meals from anarchy) The certain demise of our 2nd amendment rights (see civil unrest as many gun owners are only one "knock on the door to confiscate our guns" away from anarchy!) Generational theft the likes of which our children and grandchildren will NEVER get out from under (this is by design, imo - redistribution of wealth has nothing to do with lifting the poor up but, rather, taking the rich down) Permanent welfare class that is convinced they are "owed" everything (because they have only been told and made to feel "entitled") All wealth fleeing this country to safe havens (who could blame them?) Medical care scarce and many people doing without because they can't get it or can't wait for their "ration" (not to mention all the doctors that will leave the profession) Further and deeper division between the races, young and old, rich and poor, Christians and non-Christians, liberals and conservatives....etc. .....Don't get me started!
