You can try Rich Uncles. They are not a publicly trade company but they act like a REIT. They purchase high end commercial real estate and lease it to well known companies on a triple net lease. They pay 7% yearly dividend paid out on a monthly basis. It's a chance to own a slice of the commercial real estate pie.

So sorry to hear about your loss TC. I'm praying that God will fill the void in your heart and in your life as well. Praying the same for your son. I lost my Mother 6 months ago and my Dad 11 months ago. It's a deep personal loss and I feel for both of you. God is big and God is strong and full of love. He'll be there for you.
