Mubasher: The Iraqi Ministry of Planning announced the submission of a new project to establish an administrative city that includes the buildings of most ministries.

The official spokesman of the Ministry of Planning said in a statement on Monday that a study was submitted to include the establishment of a new administrative city in Baghdad within the axis of "Madaen-Bismaya" with an area ranging from 30-50 km, to be transferred ministries and departments to it.

Abdul-Zahra al-Hindawi said that the places currently occupied by the ministries will be transferred to a civilian center in the heart of Baghdad.

He added that the Ministry of Planning has submitted the study to the Council of Ministers for discussion and approval in the coming sessions.

He pointed out that the ministry will take over the work to identify the detailed location of the administrative city in coordination with the relevant authorities and complete the procedures for the allocation of land for the project.
