  1. Maggie... As a Texan, I take offense to your statement. Normal? If waking each day at 5 in order to work diligently providing my neighbors with an energy source that fuels their cars, heats their homes, allows their lights to come on, and provides a base material for the production or packaging of just about everything they need to live is not normal then I guess I'm odd. If supporting my hot wife and providing for our 6 kids on a daily basis without government assistance is not normal, then I guess I'm an outcast. If having the ability to grow my own food and harvesting wildlife for consumption is not normal then I guess I'm weird. If wanting parasite, freedom sucking, lying, lazy politicians to leave me alone to my own devices means I'm not normal then so be it!!! However, know this!!! When the scheisse hits the fan and you liberals have no one else to take money from and control through overbearing governmental control, don't come looking for help from us non-normal Texicans!! We will be the ones doing just fine because we've spent a lifetime learning how take care of ourselves!!!! COME AND TAKE IT Stone

  2. [Adam Montana] ok no typing for just a short bit so I can do the weekly update Moderator Notice: GM boss, good to see you! [bumper64] [Adam Montana] Before I get started, however - HUGE congrats to our newshound yota - yota recently passed 10,000 posts! [Adam Montana] As a "thank you" from me for the relentless posting of Iraqi Dinar News, I have awarded yota with a complimentary Platinum VIP upgrade [Adam Montana] yota, thank you for your hard work and all you bring to the forum! [Adam Montana] now to Dinar [Adam Montana] At this time, Shabibi is still on the run. I think it's fair to say by now that Maliki has been planning this for some time - he has been making small moves to take control of the CBI for some time now, and this is definitely working in his favor to that end [Adam Montana] In my opinion, this will make it much easier for him to force an RV - Shabibi is/was a very steady character, he did a great job of controling the value of the Dinar, but we know that he was against a major increase... so it's probably a good thing for us that he is no longer in that seat [Adam Montana] Chapter 7 is not officially 100% released, but there's no reason we won't see that happen shortly [Adam Montana] and the main thing to watch - the really BIG ticket item - is the HCL [Adam Montana] latest reports are saying that they are actively working through it, stating that it must be dealt with separate from all other issues and that it is of extreme importance, expecially with the budget being worked on right now. [Adam Montana] since we're touching on the budget, I want to make it clear that although they state they are working to get it done by year end, they will not give us a direct clue as to the future value of the Dinar in the budget... so the budget really doesn't make that much difference to us [Adam Montana] if they do a major rate change, the budget will be adjusted to fit the new rate [Adam Montana] so with all that said... where are we? Well, the US Elections are over. The year end is coming quickly, and it makes a lot of sense to do a rate change as the year is changing. And it ALSO makes a lot of sense to get this done now, while Shabibi is unable to be a major obstacle. [Adam Montana] So in my opinion, things are looking positive in the near future... again, the thing to watch is the HCL. [Adam Montana] Ok, questions... TG, you ready? [TexasGranny] RPMAC With new information stating that the U.S. will be the leader in oil product, out producing the Saudi's (although some years away), in your opinion how will this effect the value of the U.S. Dollar to that of the IQD and the Saudi Dinar? And what will this look like for our investment in the future? [Adam Montana] I think this is a good thing for our investment. If Iraq wants to raise the value of their currency, they need to do it BEFORE the US starts catching up in terms of oil production. The value of oil, and therefore the intrinsic value of their currency, will go the wrong way when the US ramps up oil production [Adam Montana] they need to raise the value SOON, otherwise they won't have the resources to back up a higher valued currency [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] TexasMike1958 HI Adam....I have been reading news headlines like, "Parliament approves its budget", "Replacement currency due in November 2012", and also something about a ration card being taken away soon. It all sounds good, but I really don't know how to make sense of it in relation to the RV. Will all this have a positive effect on bringing our blessing soon??? Thank you for all your hard work....even though you root for the Packers!! GO LIONS!! [Adam Montana] My sympathies to you and your team [Adam Montana] I already covered my thoughts on the budget, but I will address the "November" issue [Adam Montana] I don't put any stock in these "announcements" of a timeline [Adam Montana] they have been talking about replacing the currency since 2009, and they have given plenty of "dates", and none of them have came through [Adam Montana] I don't think they will release the new currency until they have a new rate, and they won't do that until the HCL is resolved. [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] kjwayne Adam, before Saddam or whatever his name was, before he took control of Iraq, the rate was $3.21. After the wars ,the rate dropped. I know about the sanctions and stuff. My question is this. How much time was between $3.21 and the bottom rate of the Dinar? Months ,days , what ? Is there any rules or laws that say that it can't go back up just as fast? Thank you for this site! [Adam Montana] Great question. The rate dropped FAST when Saddam was taken out. The real gem of your question is the last part: "Is there any... laws ... that state the rate cannot go back up just as fast?" The answer is NO! There is no law that restricts the speed at which the value of the currency can go up [Adam Montana] Absolutely none. [Adam Montana] Great question! Next please [TexasGranny] waitingondinar Adam, I recently read articles stating a new currency to be released in early November, Iraqis being given 15000 dinars instead of the ration card. I believe this eqates to $120. Also, there was an article that stated: "The first month of the year (2013) will see an end to all outstanding issues between Iraq and Kuwait," noting that "Kuwait has completed its mission and handed United Nations documents full remove Iraq from Chapter VII." With this kind of information, do you think we will have an RV in early January? [Adam Montana] Actually it equates to about $12, not 120. Kind of a joke, don't you think [Adam Montana] ? [Adam Montana] REgarding the timeline - I think it is very possible to have this all come to a head either January or sooner. The "issues" between Iraq and Kuwait are all but rubber-stamped already. Most everything is resolved, Iraq has complied with everything the UN has asked, and there is no reason to keep them under Chapter 7 [Adam Montana] the key here, however, is that until they raise their currency rate, there is no reason to REMOVE them from Chapter 7. It is kind of a moot point to worry about the last (mostly meaningless) restrictions when they are handing out TWELVE dollars per month to their poor citizens. That number will change drastically when the RV occurs, and the Chapter 7 issue is a no-brainer - it won't take long to simply push that through. [Adam Montana] [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] Rafa10s Adam, Will VIP members get advice/instructions on the VND change, even if it happens before the IQD change in value...assuming either change of course And along those lines, iyo, are you seeing the IQD revaluing alone or within a basket of currencies? Thanks Adam! [Adam Montana] Yes I do have information that I am waiting to pass out to the VIP members regarding the VND, whenever that happens. But the last part of your question - will it be a basket? No, I don't think so. The IQD will RV completely independent of any other currency. [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] vietnam1969 Good morning Adam, copy and paste person (whoever it is this week) and staff. My question is as follows. As there is word out now that the Chapter 7 issue has all but been formally announced ( January of 2013) and the ongoing negotiations with the Erbil implementation, does this mean we only now will have this one to be settled before the elusive RV takes place? Thank you [Adam Montana] In my opinion, yes. Erbil/HCL - they go hand in hand. Once that is done, we are on the home stretch. Hang on tight then, boys and girls! [Adam Montana] next please1 [Adam Montana] ! [TexasGranny] TimS Adam....Regarding the story stating that the GOI wants to eliminate the ration cards and just give cash to the citizens every month, they were talking about $120 per month is what they would get. My question.....do you see a government that believes $120 a month is enough for each citizen, RVing to a rate that would significantly increase the wealth of those same citizens? Seems to me the GOI wants to keep the big money for themselves....how do you see this? GO GREEN BAY, BUT DON'T KNOW HOW WITH ALL THEIR INJURIES! [Adam Montana] Already addressed that. But for further clarification - the amount is equal to $12, not $120 [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] vietnam1969 Hi Adam, I have another question to ask you. Who is actually in control of the governmemt in Iraq? Talabani is the President, right and Maliki is the PM but we always hear about Maliki in the news doing this and that and very seldom hear anything from Talabani. Can you tell us who in the one calling the shots there? Thank you. [Adam Montana] I would have to say Maliki is pulling the strings. He'e the one sticking his neck out and poking the beehives. [Adam Montana] next please! [TexasGranny] coorslite21 Adam, Your opinion on Shabibbi.....is he in, or out.......and what will this mean...(in your opinion)... to the timing for this investment??......Thanks...... [Adam Montana] Good question coorslight21. I talked about this a little already, but I will wrap up the chat with a final thought on Shabibi. [Adam Montana] IF Shabibi ends up back in his seat, we are going to be looking at another long and confusing wait for the RV. I really do not think it will be easy for him to get back into his former role, and I think Maliki is working on pushing things through before he is able to get back there. [Adam Montana] At this time, the warrants are still out for Shabibi and he has not returned to the country. He will not return until the warrants are lifted. I know I wouldn't want to be arrested and thrown in an Iraqi jail with all this going on! [Adam Montana] But at the end of the day, none of that really matters... if Maliki or Talabani or anyone else can get this pushed through, I'm in favor of whatever methods they use - with or without Shabibi [Adam Montana] [Adam Montana] Ok that was the last one! Thank you all for the patience while I went through the questions, and as always... GOOOO RRRRRRVVVVVVV!!!!!

  6. http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/22-signs-that-voter-fraud-is-wildly-out-of-control-and-the-election-was-a-sham After what we have seen this November, how is any American ever supposed to trust the integrity of our elections ever again? There were over 70,000 reports of voting problems on election day, and there are numerous eyewitnesses that claim that they saw voting machines change votes for one candidate to another candidate right in front of their eyes. In several of the swing states there were counties where the number of registered voters exceeded the total voting age population by a very wide margin. How in the world does that happen? Some of the vote totals that were reported in some of the most important swing states were completely and totally absurd, and yet we are just supposed to accept them on blind faith without ever being able to ask any questions. Of course the Romney campaign has already totally given up, so it isn’t as if there is any chance that the results of the presidential election could be overturned anyhow. But if massive election fraud did take place and nobody is held accountable, what kind of message will that send for the future? Will we ever be able to have faith in the integrity of our elections ever again? The following are 22 signs that voter fraud is wildly out of control and the election was a sham… #1 According to the Election Protection Coalition, voters across the United States reported more than 70,000 voting problems by 5 PM Eastern time on election day. #2 There were 59 voting divisions in the city of Philadelphia where Mitt Romney did not receive a single vote. In those voting divisions, the combined vote total was 19,605 for Barack Obama and 0 for Mitt Romney. #3 The overall voter turnout rate in Philadelphia was only about 60 percent. But in the areas of Philadelphia where Republican poll watchers were illegally removed, the voter turnout rate was over 90% and Obama received over 99% of the vote. Officials in Philadelphia have already ruled out an investigation. #4 According to WND, one poll watcher in Pennsylvania actually claims that he witnessed voting machine software repeatedly switch votes from Mitt Romney to Barack Obama… It was in Upper Macungie Township, near Allentown, Pa., where an auditor, Robert Ashcroft, was dispatched by Republicans to monitor the vote on Election Day. He said the software he observed would “change the selection back to default – to Obama.” He said that happened in about 5 percent to 10 percent of the votes. He said the changes appeared to have been made by a software program. Ashcroft said the format for computer programming has a default status, and in this case it appeared to be designating a vote for Obama each time it went to default. #5 Somehow Mitt Romney won 55 out of the 67 counties in the state of Pennsylvania and still managed to lose the entire state by a wide margin because of the absurd vote totals that Obama ran up in the urban areas. #6 Barack Obama received more than 98 percent of the vote in 10 out of the 50 wards in the city of Chicago. #7 Prior to the election, voters in the states of Nevada, North Carolina, Texas and Ohio all reported that voting machines were switching their votes for Romney over to Obama. #8 There were more than 50 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio where Mitt Romney received 2 votes or less. #9 There were more than 100 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio where Barack Obama received more than 99 times the votes that Mitt Romney did. #10 Barack Obama also received more than 99% of the vote in a number of very important precincts down in Broward County, Florida. #11 Wood County, Ohio (which Obama won) has a voting age population of 98,213, but somehow 106,258 voters were registered to vote on election day. #12 Ten counties in the swing state of Colorado have a voter registration rate of more than 100%. #13 Barack Obama did not win in a single state that absolutely requires a photo I.D. in order to vote. #14 In Ohio, two election judges were caught allowing unregistered voters to cast ballots. #15 Many Ohio voters that showed up at the polls on election day were surprised when they were informed that they had already voted. #16 In fact, there were reports all over the nation of people being unable to vote because records showed that they had already voted. #17 According to U.S. Representative Allen West, there were numerous “voting irregularities” in St. Lucie County, Florida on election day… “The thing that spurred our curiosity in our race was the fact that at 1 o’clock in the morning on Election Night, all of a sudden there was a 4,000-vote swing that took me from being ahead to put the lead into my opponent’s hands.” #18 In Wisconsin, there were allegations that Obama voters were actually being bussed in from out of state… The Democrats stationed a self described “BIG Chicago pro bono attorney” as one of their two observers at this small polling place. He remained at the polling place from 7:00 a.m. until well after 8:p.m. …..A high priced CHICAGO attorney, sitting in a Sheboygan WISCONSIN polling place, observing wards comprised of 1500 voters? …. WHY??? Why would someone from Chicago be observing in Sheboygan Wisconsin? And WHY at such a small polling place? Finally, isn’t it interesting that this would occur at the VERY polling place in which all of the above described events ALSO occurred? AGAIN WHY WOULD A CHICAGO ATTORNEY BE OBSERVING AN ELECTION POLLING PLACE WITH FEWER THAN 1500 VOTERS IN IT, IN SHEBOYGAN WISCONSIN? Of all the places where there has been suspected voting irregularities, and OUTRIGHT FRAUD throughout the ENTIRE United States, WHY HERE? WHY SHEBOYGAN? WHY THIS SMALL WARD? This lawyer spent the day running in and out making, and taking calls, which coincidentally then coincided with influxes of groups of individuals by the van and bus loads, coming in to register, AND VOTE, using what appeared to be copied Allient energy bills. These individuals often did not have photo I.D.’s, could not remember their own addresses without looking at the paper, and became easily tripped, confused and annoyed when questioned. Many of these same individuals, just so happened to be dressed in/wearing CHICAGO BEARS apparel, and whom openly discussed “catching busses back to Chicago” with each other, with poll workers, via their cell phones in the lobby area just outside the polling place, as well as in the parking lot, both before and AFTER registering and voting. One woman was dressed head to toe in CHICAGO BEARS apparel including perfectly manicured BEARS fake fingernails! She complained because registering was taking too long and she had to hurry up to catch her bus back to Chicago. We have photos of these people in vehicles with plates from different states, photos of them leaving the polls, and other irregularities. #19 Prior to election day, an Obama for America staffer was caught on video trying to help someone register to vote in more than one state. #20 It is being alleged that unions in Nevada have been registering illegal immigrants and pressuring them to vote. #21 According to townhall.com, there was a systematic effort by the Obama campaign to suppress the military vote because they knew that most military votes would go against Obama… Aiding Obama’s win was a devious suppression of the conservative vote. The conservative-leaning military vote has decreased drastically since 2010 due to the so-called Military Voter Protection Act that was enacted into law the year before. It has made it so difficult for overseas military personnel to obtain absentee ballots that in Virginia and Ohio there has been a 70% decrease in requests for ballots since 2008. In Virginia, almost 30,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots than in 2008. In Ohio, more than 20,000 fewer overseas military voters requested ballots. This is significant considering Obama won in both states by a little over 100,000 votes. #22 According to the Naval Enlisted Reserve Association, it appears that thousands of military votes from this election will never be counted at all.

  7. Shabs, voter fraud not a problem for you? Yes, Romney lost but each and every allegation needs to be investigated in order to protect the integrity of our elections. Once an investigation is complete and it is found o actually won, great but to dismiss obvious irregularities offhand is a bit disingenuous and to tell you the truth SCARY!

  10. TPS...I don't think ANYONE on this forum really thinks that the US would seriously consider letting these states secede. Again, it's a question of stating our abhorrence (TPS, I suspect you'll need a dictionary for this word - perhaps you may also need a toxicologist to perform blood work, as I believe the chemicals you've been "dusting" with have infiltrated your gray matter) towards the current state of our government. I think Sentinel7 summed up the general attitude of most of us, when he/she said: This is just my opinion I believe these petitions are a good thing not for the reason of secession because I don't believe any American really wants to see The USA become just the SA. But I also believe that we have been backed into a corner not just because of the election. But because the entire Federal Government is corrupt ,stealing us blind and handing our economy and tax money to other country's We are starving for jobs yet our tax dollars and jobs are given to other country's who are building our infrastructure. They break our laws with impunity they refuse to enforce our laws they even act against anyone who wants to enforce our laws. They engage in fraud against the American people ,the law and the US Constitution. This could be a peaceful, lawful revolution. The numbers need to be high real high we need to get more states and we need to get more and more people to sign these petitions Things are starting to pile up all we have to do is to keep helping the pile get deeper. Lets give him a Mandate No Surrender No Retreat and No Compromise Read more:

GOD'S WORD DOES NOT HAVE A TIME STAMP, IT IS AS GOOD NOW AS IT WAS BEFORE THE ELECTION. WHEN HE SAID, "....PRAY, TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS, SEEK ME AND I WILL HEAL YOUR LAND...", IT MEANS TO CONTINUE PRAYING. WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TAKE US MONTHS AND YEARS TO ACCOMPLISH, GOD CAN DO IN THE TWINKING OF AN EYE. IF EVER THERE IS A TIME NEEDED TO HOLD ON TO YOUR FAITH IT IS NOW! I'M SO THANKFUL WE CAN TALK ABOUT GOD IN HERE. THANK YOU MR ADAM FOR ALLOWING US TO DO THIS. LOVE HUGS AND PRAYS LUCI

  13. We are a severely divided nation with strong and permament ideologies separating the two... perhaps it truly is time to go our own ways peacefully before we break down into another civil war. The last war was over slavery of the African Americans and State's Rights... This one will be over the slavery of the working American to the Socialistic Government which continually rapes us for the sake of its dependant constituents. Time to cut the cord folks, before we sink into anarchy and genocide. Think it can't happen here? Try cracking a history book or two.

  15. What is America? Is it just a geographical location on a map? I think not! America is an ideal born out of a fierce desire for liberty and independence! America is the greatest exercise in experimental political science! Nothing like it had ever been tried and none ever expected it to succeed but those doubters never fully grasped the deep rooted belief in freedom!!! A government for the people by the people! A government that allowed its people the opportunity to be anything or anyone they wanted to be without intrusion. America was designed and instituted in such a way that government itself should fear the people and not the people fearing the government! It's because of the American ideal that so many from every walk of life and from every corner of the earth risked life and limb to come here searching for the dream! Where is this America??? It can still be found in my neck of the woods where a mans worth is still judged by the content of his character and that character is found in his creator and in his desire to exercise liberty and freedoms by working hard to provide for his own, chipping in to help a neighbor, and being accountable for his actions! Why d Texans want to secede? Because we want America back!!!!

  16. As a Texican, I am not for secession. However, I did sign the petition. Why? Washington needs to understand the level of our displeasure! Texas has balanced its budget and made itself a friendly environment for business and innovation. Our federal government through its obtrusive intervention of over regulation continues to do the opposite. 1200 days I do believe without a budget...

  18. The bible clearly tells us that we have been given the mind of Christ...and we can come boldly to the throne and fellowship with him! This is Great to know...and have this privilege!! He tells us in His word...that if we lack wisdom and knowledge..to simply ask, and he will freely give it!! There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed!! Seek Gods face...and every good thing will be added unto you!! This is indeed Gods plan! It is for His glory...to further His kingdom! We are currently witnessing the great transfer of wealth that is spoken of many times in scripture. The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous... This is only the beginning!! Iraq is spoken of as well! It has a great part in regards to the end times (in which I truly believe we are in). This situation we are in is no accident, nor will it be some small event in which a bunch of folks make a few extra dollars to purchase that dream car or house they've always wanted...this is for a purpose! And it is much, much larger than many can even begin to comprehend!! Some believe this and agree, while others choose to bash, and say God has nothing to do with it. We could go through the bible and find hundreds of verses that speak of the exact place in time that we stand. I will say this...and I have said it before...many people are going to be so completely shocked by the outcome of this that they simply wont be able to believe what has taken place! Many will be blessed by this...but unfortunately... to many...it will be a curse. We must seek Gods instruction in regards to what is to be done with this financial breakthrough! Some will choose not to, and that will be their mistake! God is love...and pleasures in the prosperity of his servant! He wants to bless us!! The question is...will we be good stewards with what he trusts us with? Remember, if we seek Him first...blessings will chase us down and overtake us...we won't be able not to be blessed!! I don't know about you, but that sounds wonderful to me! God has blessed me in so many ways! If He never did another thing for me..I would still gladly serve and honor Him all the days of my life!!! Call on Him...get to know Him! You will never find a more true friend! And to top it off...we get to spend eternity with Him!! So with God...its a win win situation!! May Gods Blessings be on each of your lives!

  19. Our choice is not always God's choice, but He does put into office rulers and kings to accomplish His purpose in the world. Certainly we are not privileged to enter into His Mind and to know all that He hopes to accomplish. It may be to exalt a nation or people or to bring down a people. We are in His hands. It is God who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men, and knowledge to those who have understanding. It is God who rules the nations and His kingdom has no end, it is eternal. Whatever sentence He decrees will be carried out by the hosts of heaven in order that all living may know that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and He bestows it on whom He wishes, and sets over it the lowliest of men. When any ruler fails to lead with compassion or rules with brutality, who lifts himself above those he rules and fills his heart with pride and arrogance and rejects God Almighty, then God will bring down that ruler and that nation. But that leader who leads the people to acknowledge God and encourages faith and freedom will be lifted up by God. Where are we?

  20. I don't have an escape plan... and you'd be shocked at how little dinar I have. Down around the bottom percentile of holdings here on DV I would guess. I have a platoon of kids and a small Alabama income. I'm hoping for a peaceful reorganization of the States (a peaceful secession). God knows the South can rise from the ashes of this Socialist country.

  21. 11-14-12 New York Times (By STANLEY REED) : Delicate Balancing Act for Western Oil Firms in Iraq. Iraq’s re-emergence as an oil power is inevitably sending ripples through the industry and the surrounding region. The country has surpassed Iran as the second-largest OPEC producer after Saudi Arabia, raising questions about whether other oil-producing countries may at some point need to trim production to accommodate a rising Iraq. But the more immediate tensions are between the federal government in Baghdad and the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government, which is headquartered in Erbil in the north of the country. The Kurds, who suffered terribly under Saddam Hussein, are determined to maintain their autonomy from Baghdad — not least by developing their own oil resources. Baghdad insists that only it has the authority to grant access to the country’s natural resources. But the Kurds are succeeding in bringing in the world’s top oil companies against Baghdad’s wishes. Strains between the two governments were on display Wednesday at the Oil and Money Conference convened by the International Herald Tribune and Energy Intelligence Group, a provider of independent analysis and data to the global energy industry. Hussain Al-Shahristani, the Iraqi deputy prime minister, who has been instrumental in devising contracts to rehabilitate Iraqi oil fields, confirmed in a session with reporters that Exxon Mobil was in the advanced stages of organizing a sale of its 60 percent stake in a premier Iraqi project, the West Qurna-1 field, to buyers approved by the Iraqi government. Exxon and Iraq have been at loggerheads since Exxon signed an exploration deal with the Kurdistan government last year. Baghdad, and Mr. Al-Shahristani in particular, does not recognize Kurdish contracts with the oil companies and says they are illegal. An Exxon Mobil spokesman, Patrick J. McGinn, declined to comment. Mr. Al-Shahristani also warned the French giant Total and other companies that they faced being forced out of their Iraqi projects for having feet in both camps. “They must either decide to present their contract to the federal government or they are in breach of their contract” with Iraq, he said. But Mr. Al-Shahristani is losing the battle. Exxon, Total, Chevron and Gazprom have all decided that Kurdish oil deals have sufficient profit potential to be worth risking Baghdad’s ire. Philip Lambert, who heads the London-based advisory firm Lambert Energy, said in a talk at the conference that the boom in deals in Kurdistan, compared to a relatively moribund environment in Iraq proper, was a sign that the environment in Kurdistan is healthier. One reason: As Mr. Al-Shahristani acknowledged, Baghdad’s contracts are among the toughest in the world. They offer such low returns that — along with continued security risks and infrastructure problems — companies are figuring that they would be better off making deals with the Kurds. Under Kurdistan contracts oil companies can earn $3 to $5 per barrel, compared to about $1 per barrel on those in southern Iraq, according to Wood Mackenzie, a consulting firm in Edinburgh. So far the large companies have been signing exploration deals with Kurdistan, leaving several years for the two governments to reach deals before their blocks start producing. Iraq, of course, is far more important to the global oil picture today, with more than 3 million barrels a day of production, while Kurdistan is struggling to export 200,000 barrels per day. But exploration in Kurdistan is still at a relatively early stage, having only started after Saddam’s ouster in 2003. Companies looking for oil there have enjoyed a high success rate. Despite Mr. Al-Shahristani’s prickliness, there are signs that Baghdad and the Kurdistan government could be reaching an accommodation. Under an agreement reached last summer, Kurdistan has been putting oil into the main Iraq-Turkey pipeline. These exports had been suspended over payments disputes between Baghdad and Erbil, leaving companies like Genel Energy, now headed by the former BP chief Tony Hayward, with no other option but to sell their oil cheaply in the Kurdish market or truck it to Turkey. Baghdad has also begun making payments and is counting on the Kurds to supply 250,000 barrels per day to the pipeline in 2013. A Kurdish adviser, who asked not to be named, said in an e-mail that by all appearances both sides want the arrangement to work. Kurdistan’s success in attracting the big oil companies does seem to be influencing thinking in Baghdad. Mr.Al-Shahristani said there was nothing in Iraqi law that prevented Iraq from awarding so-called production sharing contracts that give companies a slice of the output of fields for exploration. Companies prefer these contracts to the service deals that Baghdad has offered so far, which give companies a per-barrel fee for renovating old fields like West Qurna and Rumaila, the largest field, where BP has already produced a billion barrels. At the conference, Mr. Al-Shahristani dismissed suggestions that Iraq would have trouble replacing Exxon, saying that serious international companies were interested. But Baghdad’s “our way or the highway” approach could threaten Iraq’s huge oil ambitions. During his talk in London, Mr. Al-Shahristani suggested that he had dialed back his expectations for Iraqi oil production over the next few years to about 9 million barrels per day from the unrealistic 12 million barrels per day that Iraq would achieve if the oil companies delivered on the contracts they have signed. Iraq is a member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries but does not have a quota, in recognition of its need for revenue to rebuild. Mr. Al-Sharistani said that once Iraq had reached 4 million to 5 million barrels per day, it could start discussing its production with the other OPEC members. “We don’t think that Iraq is going to be squeezing any country out of the market,” he said. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/15/business/global/delicate-balancing-act-for-western-oil-firms-in-iraq.html?adxnnl=1&adxnnlx=1352908969-VXVTaE3ktKcKjh6yPbBeSA&_r=0

  22. ***///Git over yerself.... It's not about romney or obummer or any other gimmick of the day... It's about this country on a certain path to denegration through the agenda of something so life-changing, it'll shake you to your core. It is not "fear-mongering" nor "hate" (as you popularitsts love to chant, "omg - you're just a racist!")... There is a real threat to any country hell-bent on remaining free without becoming subjected to a one-world edict... Now screw you head on straight and bone, up, son! Keep spewing your little mantras about obummer OR romney just makes you look ill-informed and ignorant. Now cut it out, you're embarrasing yourself.

  25. Another thought.... how many of you are going to stay here post RV? Gonna keep all of your dollars here for Obama to rape and pillage? What about the next Democrat/Socialist government? You gonna trust them? This is only the beginning folks. In time the Dems/Socialists will build a huge enough dependant constituency to lock down every vote from coast to coast. The real workers of the nation will (are) become de-facto slaves with no alternative but to slave away to maintain the social paracites. After all of this work and waiting for this investment to come to fruition.... the RV happens,,,, and what? You get rich? Maybe.. but you have to bribe off the Obama government first with at least 50% of your dividend... and quite possibly a lot more. There's only one way for the Dems/Socialists to go... and that is headlong down into the irreversible pit of self-destructive socialism.

  28. Hey smart guy. Go look at the last sentence of the third quote of your own stupid evidence. "There was no place for reconsideration or revocation, except through revolution or through consent of the States." Pick and choose whatever you wish, but you are too stupid, as usual, to read, other than what you want, to try to prove someone wrong. When you only prove yourself to be a fool. Why waste time learning, when your ignorance is instantaneous?

  29. I believe we are anointed!! Should we be cocky? No we should be humble but proud and remain fiercely loyal to the American ideal! As for coming together...... if coming together means me accepting liberalism and progressivism then count us divided! At no time will I accept an ideology that has historically and presently been proven to cause the demise of any nation that embraces it's misguided ideas.

  30. I remember in the Old Testament where God allowed the Babylonians to rise up in power and enslave the Jewish people. He just wanted His people to pray and worship him even in hard times. Could it be America is going down the same path and we just need to return to prayer and worship of our God and Creator?

  31. I've been paying attention!!! Correct me if I'm wrong but, are you not a supporter of Obama and progressive ideology? It was the father of American progressive ideology that reinstated the fed (formerly called the 2nd Bank of the USA, a national bank that was shut down by Andrew Jackson). Woodrow Wilson did America an injustice when he did so and Obama is just an extension of those same progressive ideals.

  32. Why, so you can use your piety and walk all over me? I'm generally the amicable conservative who chooses to debate civilly but I'm Texan through and through! Stonewall by the way comes from one of my heros. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. Yes, I'm a redneck who named his first born son after a Confederate General! The reasons are too numerous to list but the most of which was his devout faith in the one true God, his love and care for his fellow man and his desire to rise up through self determination and hard work from the depths of poverty.

  33. CNN. Broadcasting While Watching The LOPsters Becoming Agitated To Respond To Breitling's Post ! LOP LOP - Fizz Fizz - Oh What A Relief It Is ! 11-14-2012 Newshound Guru Breitling The people that came up with the LOP theory don't know about money, they are not investors. Today's rate is completely false. They are keeping the value of the dinar down artificially. From day one these guys with the LOP theory were wrong, it was invented. Iraq would not do that to their country, mess up their economy. Does this guarantee that they won't throw us a curve ball...No. I don't know when they will revalue or restructure their currency. They really can do it today. But, you have to look at what is going on over there with power, the CBI, etc. Maliki has the advantage, but we still don't know. Things are going good in Iraq. I am still very motivated, I am still watching it everyday, it really could, any day. 11-14-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar Whether it is January or July, they will remove the zeros. It is possible that what has happened to Shabibi may in fact be a good thing for our investment. If Shabibi had...decided to introduce the currency internationally at a low rate and let it grow from there, the forces that are supporting this in the government continue to say "removal of the zeros". This to me means if they can win this philosophical war that their intentions are to bring the dinar out at .86 or 1 to 1. Most of what is going on with the bank and the government will most likely be resolved by the end of November. 11-13-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar We know there is a printing taking place of the small dinars that are supposed to be distributed this month and recently Maliki said the removal of the zeros will be postponed until after the first of the year. I've have studied and been in this investment since 2008. I have never had as much hope as I have at this time. I have never seen the target legislation and the budget in parliament to even be voted on. Well most of it is there. There is alot of progress being made even if the country goes dictator...it is just my opinion but I believe that the path is clear. 11-13-2012 Newshound Guru Tlar The tariff and taxes law cannot be implemented without a corresponding raise in the exchange rate or they will experience double or triple rate inflation. The suspension of the ration card in March is another good sign. It also implies that the rate will be changed by then and Iraq just agreed with the IMF to discontinue its usage. Chapter VII is another good sign just over the horizon. 11-13-2012 Newshound Guru Med ALOT ON THE PLATE IN IRAQ, SOME CAN BE SERIOUS FOR MALIKI. I WILL SAY THIS, I EXPECT A SIGNIFICANT RISE IN THE RATE OF EXCHANGE BEFORE THEY DO SWAP OUT CURRENCIES. I BELIEVE THIS WAS THEIR PLAN ALL ALONG AND THIS RATION CARD THING IS GOOD FOR US.

  35. I'm completely with you, k. Wish you were in Texas - wanna move over this way? Texas definitely gives alot more in tax dollars than it takes in from the fed's. And yes, I'd gladly keep all of our tax dollars here in Texas if the fed's would go away & leave us alone. Our country was the greatest country on the earth - but it has fallen so far into the slippery depths that I'm not sure it will ever be able to crawl out. And the liberals & takes of this country have chosen to keep us slidding down that slope. I love America and don't want to opt out, but I don't like what I'm seeing in our future. So before I let my family slip into communism, I will jump on that secession train in a heartbeat. It's unbelievable how many uneducated people we have in this country - and scariest of all - they vote! I'm all for voter ID, and perhaps we even need a test for the registered voters to see if they even know enough about our great country to be able to vote. When alot of them don't even know who's running for office and just pull that "D" lever because they know it'll keep that stream of "freebies" coming there way, we're in alot of trouble! And guys, we are there! This country is in alot of trouble!!!!

All 4 (?) videos are on youtube if you search for "frothbucket" That is the first I've ever heard of Shabibi supposedly saying "No" I don't believe it, I don't buy it and I'm not going to waste my time and energy fretting over this post. (Nothing against you, MAS;) ) Even Froth and his friend who asked Shabs a question never once said that Shabibi said "no." I've talked with Froth a lot, and even recently. Not once has he ever even hinted that Shabibi said "no" I disagree with you, respectfully. I think you misheard it, or are maybe looking for something that's not there.

  43. This is what the Governor of Texas thinks. http://www.usatoday.com/story/onpolitics/2012/11/13/rick-perry-texas-secession-petition/1702359/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+usatoday-NewsTopStories+%28News+-+Top+Stories%29 11:58AM EST November 13. 2012 - Texas Gov. Rick Perry doesn't want his state to break away from the United States, according to his response to a secession petition posted on the White House website. Perry spokeswoman Catherine Frazier sent a statement to The Dallas Morning News, following reports that there are have been dozens of similar petitions filed via the "We the People" program. "Gov. Perry believes in the greatness of our Union and nothing should be done to change it," Frazier's statement says. "But he also shares the frustrations many Americans have with our federal government. Now more than ever our country needs strong leadership from states like Texas." Petitions seeking secession for more than two dozen states have been filed on the White House website asking the Obama administration to "peacefully grant" these states withdrawal so they can create their own government. The Texas petition was filed on Friday and had more than 70,000 signatures as of Tuesday morning. To get a White House response, the rules of "We the People" states a petition must get 25,000 signatures within 30 days. It appears as though the Louisiana petition also meets that threshold and the Florida petition is getting there. Some readers may recall the big uproar over Perry's comments following a Tea Party rally in 2009. It's been widely reported that Perry advocated secession, but Factcheck.org reported last year that is incorrect. The Republican governor was expressing his frustration at the federal government in the 2009 interview with the Associated Press. "There is absolutely no reason to dissolve it," Perry said in response to the AP's question about being associated with secession. "But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, you know, who knows what may come out of that? But Texas is a very unique place and we're a pretty independent lot to boot."

  44. This kind of thing flares up and then goes away because yeah this gets us all hot blooded and blah blah but then everyone gets back into their routines and they stop caring about political stuff till the next big thing happens. The fact is no one is going to really want to do the sacrifice it would take to succeed from the Union. First of all this is not the civil war era the Federal Government is much better trained, and equipped to deal with such a situation. Sorry to tell you guys this but a peaceful succession is not going to happen. Not only that alot of us don't want to succeed because we enjoy the comforts we have as Americans. Say what you want about our credit rating or the direction of our economy a good portion of us enjoy comforts that citizens of other counties can only dream of having and yet we complain about even that because we are too blinded by the things we want to see the things that we should already be thankful about. Whether you look at it logically or act like a 3 year old if a Republican candidate won then there would be no talk of succession or our country is going the wrong way and blah blah... people would just put the blinders on and think well everything will be better now just like I'm sure people who voted for the President have put the blinders on and are saying to themselves "finally we can get the real work done." The problem is to heal things pain is part of the process.

  49. If the unit cost you $3500 to make, do you really expect some manufacturer to absorb that cost themselves and produce the units for free? How about the products you used to create your unit? Unless you fabricated each piece yourself, someone at some poi t did just what your doing and patented their creation.... Should they not benefit for their hard work? In my opinion, if your product works, mass produce it yourself and sell it at cost. That way, your staying true to your beliefs and although not giving the technology away, your still providing electricity at a fraction of the cost. Heck, I would pay $10,000 in order to not pay for electricity anymore! My bill runs 600 or more a month!!!!
