Post RV Vegas Party Planning

Recommended Posts

I'm in...the Wynn is a great place....there is some wonderful golf in Vegas also.

Never had a plane arranged for me...always paid my own way; i'd love to be included.

It certainly would help if we knew when the Darn thing would RV ..I could use a vacation

Any of these places family (kid) friendly?? Never been and would love to go, hubby worked there for a few months before we met and loved it.

It was a gamble to buy the dinar in the first place...

Bama- I'm not really a big fan of Vegas. I go there for business quite frequently. Try and keep your kids off he strip. There are some great hotels on the strip, that have great shows. Just make sure you are taking taxis or shuttles everywhere instead of walking? Lots of nudity and folks handing out cards for nudie shows ect... I want to be at the big party and meet some of these great people on this site, so I'll be there with my kids. They can hang together at the pools:)

I will volunteer to contact casinos in Vegas to get rooms (probably free) for our post RV celebration.

Can we get volunteers to help with communication with the people that want to attend?

Also, maybe someone to handle surveys of what shows people want to see and/or other activities?

I know that Harrahs has a plane that they use to bring high rollers to Vegas. We may be able to tap into that!

Maybe someone to keep track of who is going and preferred dates?

We are getting close... better start organizing our planning!

Hello there,

I have started this vegas post rv party a couple months ago... check the thread that I have started.. "VEGAS ANYONE????"

I believe I have about 100 people signed up...

Y'all sound like so much fun!

Now here's the bad part :(

They say when this happens to be cautious. Don't do alot of flaunting your new found wealth. Can you imagine a bunch of newly made millionaires in one spot? (i guess I would be a thousandaire, lol) People love to prey upon others fortune. Careful, all!

Sounds good!! The few times they would be out of my sight would be after their bedtime and I will be bringing a sitter.

I have two girls been wanting to go to Disney World but I hear there are hotels with rollar coasters in Vegas. I have lots of family invested that would want to come and I would be happy to help out with kid patrol :D

If you went to LV, you can drive to Disneyland in Anaheim in less than 4 hours. It is a trip that is mainly open highway except for the last hour or so. Not bad and nice scenery for someone from the Midwest that has not seen it before. There is a lot to do around Disneyland. You can make it to the beach in about a half hour. Could be fun.

The last time I was there, 10-12 years ago, the card people were hanging around Circus Circus. It was a pit. Unless it has dramatically changed, I would not go near there, more or less with a child.

Mc, is it that way in other places now? I don't want to scare bama off and have to decide not to go.

We can bring them to serve us drinks wearing the lopper shirt.

They are going to have to wear a Lopper Bib too.

Thanks Carrello! That is a great idea! My older daughter has been to Disney World but we have never been to Disney Land and we do have relatives in Malibu. My younger daughter is adventurous and would love anything exciting! Are you and your kids up for a daytrip? B)

I volunteer to be Okie's personal tour guide. I think I'll take him first to see his likeness at the wax museum and then out to the desert to see all those mysterious holes that were dug. Im sure we'll have a great time.

So, I am assuming you have decided to participate! You are now officially in charge of "mysterious holes".

I would be up for it, but I don't have any kids. One rat terrier....but I could dress her up.

If you have the opportunity to go Malibu, don't miss it. It is a hop, skip and a jump from Anaheim (that is hours in California time). B)
