[Adam Montana] Just a forewarning - there were a LOT of questions this week and I have an important conference call shortly, so I won't be able to get to them all.

[Adam Montana] I eliminated some of the duplicate questions, and also the questions that relate to offshore banking and that asset protection strategy. VIP members, please post those questions in the VIP and OSI sections - the answers are sensitive and should be kept private.

[Adam Montana] In regards to the Chapter 7 questions, I can kind of sum it up like this:

[Adam Montana] Regardless of what the Gurus and the "talking heads" in Iraq say, the country of Iraq is not yet out from under the Chapter 7 sanctions. The MAJORITY of the articles have been released, but until ALL of Chapter 7 is lifted Iraq is still under the control of the "Security Counsel" of the UN. This means that at any time, the UN can step in and halt anything Iraq is doing militarily.

[Adam Montana] The BIGGEST concern we have on that matter is this: Let's say you have a line of credit for your business. You are borrowing against it, to make purchases for necessary items to run your profitable business. Suddenly that line of credit is yanked, you have no way to pay your bills, and creditors come seize everything you worked for.

[Adam Montana] This is the situation Iraq is in - while the UN has any dictatorial control over them, Iraq is at risk of losing anything they own... why would they allow or push an RV while they are at risk of losing control?

[Adam Montana] And I don't blame them!

[Adam Montana] I would advise every serious investor to read the Chapter 7 sanctions for themselves to get a firm understanding of it. [Adam Montana] I know this is not what many people want to hear, but it's the truth and that's what I'm here to share. The GOOD news is we should see Chapter 7 released any day now, and when that happens I am guessing we are within a week of a rate change!

[kcw] BJinMontreal How close is the Iraqi government to being fully formed? There seems to be too many conflicting reports that it's done ... it's not done ... it was done last year ... [Adam Montana] There are a lot of conflicting reports and articles, true! conflicting reports and articles, true! [Adam Montana] the GOI is almost completely formed, and the seats that are not permanently filled have compentent temporary people doing the job

[Adam Montana] I strongly believe that although the permanent GOI is not yet fully in place, the people handling the roles are competent

[Adam Montana] so this isn't a factor for the RV in my opinion - they can move forward with the GOI "as-is"

[kcw] Heavyduty053 - You said in last weeks chat that if it went to thanksgiving that would be plenty of time to complete. Are things falling into place to accomplish this on or before this date [Adam Montana] (this new chat format works great - many people commented on that! The one weak point is kcw. If kcw loses power or gets abducted mid-chat the whole thing could go downhill! )

With your background in finance, is it possible that this "event" might single handedly help the world economy get back on tract, specifically the USD and EURO? In other words....cause a "domino" effect? [Adam Montana] First, I don't have a finance background - I took the Series 65 to put myself into a position to help people in the VIP group with investments Post RV.

[Adam Montana] The SEC has specific rules about what you can and cannot do with or without one of those licenses

[Adam Montana] so although you can easily say I'm a successful investor, or have a great history and knowledge with these kinds of investments - my background is not in finance

[Adam Montana] I think that's a load of bull that keeps getting passed around from one dealer or Guru to the next, when they don't have anything substantial to say about the Dinar

[Adam Montana] but there's no guarantee on it, we all know that

[Adam Montana] and the notion that many currencies will RV at once is a bit far-fetched

[Adam Montana] however

[Adam Montana] a stronger Dinar will have an effect worldwide

[Adam Montana] it has the ability to boost the world economy, in fact!

[Adam Montana] so while I don't think multiple currencies will RV at once

[Adam Montana] the domino effect from a major change in value of the Dinar will produce great results for other currencies

[Adam Montana] hope that all made sense, it's a complicated subject and hard to convey over a chat like this

[kcw] coorslite21 - With the great numbers of Soldiers, diplomats and contractors that we have in Iraq, why isn’t easier to get real daily information about the events regarding the RV of the Dinar?.........by this I mean there a handful of "Guru's" out there.....and they seem to have all the contacts, but obviously those contacts are are little suspect........shouldn't this be easier?????

[Adam Montana] My friends, just because someone is in Iraq does not mean they will know before the rest of the world!

[Adam Montana] We can't expect an announcement to be nailed to the telephone poles 2 weeks in advance

[Adam Montana] in fact, it stands to reason that since we have better news sources, more access to digital news outlets, etc - we will know well before the average Iraqi

[Adam Montana] there's only a handful of people that will know any major amount of time before the actual announcement is made

[Adam Montana] so, to summarize - the "boots on the ground" people simply don't have access to the information any faster than we do.

[kcw] bamagirl - I would just appreciate anything new you can share with us, thanks Adam. Also, do you think the end of the fiscal year and new budget has any bearing on an RV??

[Adam Montana] It might have a small bearing on the date, but Chapter 7 is more important. They can work thebudget around any rate, but they can't work anything until they have full control of their own country. Chapter 7 is much more important than the budget.

[kcw] tims - if this thing is going to rv soon, why would the cbi sell any iqd at the current rate through the auctions? It's going to cost them millions more and more and more to cash in whatever goes out from now til it rv's. ADAM......IS the following statement a fact? "the more dinar in circulation probably means a lower rv rate....conversely, the less dinar in circulation probably means a higher rv value."

[Adam Montana] The statement you made sounds reasonable, I have no reason to dispute it

[kcw] Mammaw - Seems to be a great deal more in the news, these days, about M being on the bad list. Do you see any issues with him being removed from power, or again more smoke? G20 said they are going to "fix" the market, by putting more money into it, I believe. Do you feel they too are waiting for the RV or one thing has nothing to do with the other?

[Adam Montana] "M" is a pain in everyone's butt, but he's not going anywhere. I wouldn't put any stock in those articles - they will figure out a happy medium and go from there

[Adam Montana] regarding the G20, I don't want to sound "too" certain - but I'm sure they are looking at the BIG picture

[kcw] sheepdog - Shabbibi's report was posted. I got it, read it, sounds like Iraq has a lot to do: It says it will take 2 to 3 years to develop a private financial sector. Does this have an effect on a possible RV? Can you elaborate on how this process would that affect the RV?

[Adam Montana] That 2-3 year period can go one of two ways

[Adam Montana] 1. No RV, they build themselves up slowly and face huge problems with inflation etc

[Adam Montana] 2. Yes RV, build themselves up quickly, reclaim lost wealth, face stability issues due to the huge change in monetary status

[Adam Montana] I think they can handle both scenarios, and I'm rooting for #2

There are rumors (and news articles) that state that there is appx 3 weeks left to save the Euro, and that if the Euro falls, USD will be a couple of weeks behind. If this is true, how would this effect the Iraqi Dinar investment? Also, do you believe that there are some who are purposely trying to hold back the exchange rate to get western financial systems to falter?

But I have also heard that when the RV happens, they will stop selling. Any thoughts on which is true? [Adam Montana] I talked about this above, but it's a good question

[Adam Montana] I expect to see the CBI sales halt for a short period when the RV is announced

[Adam Montana] they will likely establish a new format, make some changes, then begin auctioning again at the new rate

[Adam Montana] until it is actually announced, though - they will continue with the status quo

[kcw] rising dough - Adam, An article came out yesterday stating that Iraq had signed a contract to purchase F 16 Fighter Jets. If they can make a purchase like this, doesn't it tell us that all sanctions are lifted and they are out of Chapter 7 even though it has not been formerly annouced by the UN?

[Adam Montana] regardless, the same concept applies - they can buy them, but until all Chapter 7 sanctions are lifted they don't have the right to use them without fear of the SEcurity Counsel yanking them

When i purchased my dinar i remember the representative telling me something about a charge of $150.00 per account ( depending on how many times you've ordered from them) when it becomes cash in time. Now several months later when i think about it, it doesnt make much sense to me what that charge could have been for since i physically hold my dinar. When cash in time happens, i can pick and choose where i want to cash my dinar in at, correct? I am a VIP member so i could go with whomever you let us know about, right? I guess what im asking is since i physically hold my dinar, I'm finished with dinar banker and can cash in where i choose. Is this correct. Thanks a bunch.

[kcw] Adam, If the dinar did RV at a lower rate like $.10, and then rise to a higher rate like $3.00+ over a period of, let's say, 6 months to 3 years - considering that Iraq needs to import almost EVERYTHING - power plants, high speed railroads, communications, military equipment and aircraft, water and sanitation plants, and on and on and on... would not an exchange rate that made multiple major changes in that time frame (i.e. much more than the aforementioned 2.5% per 90 days that the "managed float" would supposedly entail, and presumably with no advance notice) - absolutely wreak havoc on the ability of importers in Iraq and their trading partners, to know what their costs, profit margins and sales would be for the next several years? How do you trade in such an unpredictable environment? Why would the CBI do that?

I believe re-denomination means that they will have to issue smaller denominations, and remove the larger denominations from the physical supply of currency. Not that the value will change.

Originally I thought the CBI auctions were selling IQD for USD- which would be a bad thing-lots of dinars to revalue.

Later I understood that the CBI was auctioning USD for IQD- which makes sense if they are going to revalue.

So what is it- USD for IQD or IQD for USD?
