MPs: Security Ministers Post to be Finalized Next Week

Erbil, April 20 (AKnews) - Iraqi deputies from different parliamentary blocs said that the security ministers file will be solve next week in the parliament after having consensus among the parliamentary blocs and the presidencies of the republic and the ministries.

The MP of Ahrar bloc, Hakem al-Zamili told Al-Iraqiya TV channel Wednesday that the security ministers file will be solved next week.

Al-Iraqiya bloc MP, Leqa Mahdi said that "Al-Iraqiya list has submitted its candidate to the Defense ministry and preceded two candidates as alternative candidates ".

We may be at a tipping point here. With Defense Secretary Gates' visit to remind M we're gone by the end of year, maybe M knows he can't delay this any longer. I don't know how he thinks they are capable of handling their own security without someone in that job. Just my simple mind thinking out loud!
