Trump Treachery Or Treason?

I forgot to add....My generation ( I was born 1957) and the two before mine ( My Dad-RIP was born 1924 in Sicily and he was witness of the US Army arrival  in 1943 as Southern Italy and Sicily first were the initial parts of my Country to be liberated by the German Invader and then US troops proceeded way North  and had to fight all along the way ( Anzio, Cassino, Rome, etc) and they arrived to the northern city of Milan in 1945, and then on to my northernmost town of Trento ( my Mother told me the joy of seeing the US Army ) and Germans capitulated and finally the war was over for good..... and  we will be forever grateful to the US Military for helping us getting rid definitely of Nazi-fascism.......

@Pitcher, I REALLY appreciate Your posts.

Maybe BABY I am dumb as a box of rocks and entirely morally destitute.

HOWEVER, as I have grown older, I have seen the indisputable value of the four (4) Textual Cornerstones. The Founding Fathers were, and still are, geniuses without equal. Many Founding Fathers lived out the four (4) Textual Cornerstones as an example of their undeniable potency while True The United States Of America Patriots from the American Revolution through today have been wounded, maimed, and paid the ultimate sacrifice for defending MY privilege to continue the same ardent adherence to the four (4) Textual Cornerstones. So, I have a joyously carried yet soberingly acknowledged Sacred Honor to live out the same. My lens is the four (4) Textual Cornerstones as I view current events and individual perspectives. Timeless. An encouragement to take courage in spite of, well, I won't mention who or what but can be deduced from my previous posts. So, I gravitate toward the four (4) Textual Cornerstones. THIS Great Nation was founded on the four (4) Textual Cornerstones while the future existence of THIS Great Nation is entirely dependent on living out all four (4) Textual Cornerstones to the extent possible at every possible opportunity. As a result, I am far less, if at all, "I'm good, You're good" on perspectives posted as if both and either have a viability whereas ONLY the context of the four (4) Textual Cornerstones is an independent standard I hold myself to as well and promote at every possible venue.

Warmest Regards to You, @Pitcher, As A True The United States Of America Patriot.

:salute: !!!Pitcher!!! :salute:

My father served in the Pacific and my father in law was Army in Europe.   I also had 3 uncles who served.  Everyone in that “ the Greatest Generation” served because they knew that losing was not an option.  I’m just glad evil was defeated that time.

If you believe In a non suppressive Government I have a question for everyone on this board.  Which political party is trying to suppress the political system in America.  Which one has control of 90% of the media.  Which party tried to use the Intelligence Institutions to frame a President with a bogus story.  Which party uses political correctness to suppress free speech.  Which Party uses taxation and burdensome regulations to stifle business.  Which Party allows the invasion of our country by illegals, drugs and gangs.

You may may think I’m thinking Dems and they are guilty of many of the things I wrote but Reps are guilty as well for their absence of defending the Rule of Law and the Constitution.  There is no doubt History is starting to repeat itself.  I’m not thinking Germany but more the Roman Empire or the British Empire.  Do some reading on fiat currency or bankrupting an Empire with endless wars, deficit spending and over taxation.

Sorry Umbertino,  I’m rambling.

This is what made me an independent. No one is guaranteed my vote.

Shep Smith Lays It Out For Fox News Viewers: The Issue Isn't Biden. It's Trump.

Fox News anchor Shepard Smith on Monday warned viewers not to be distracted by President Donald Trump’s conspiracy theories as the Ukraine scandal explodes around him.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate former Vice President and Democratic presidential front-runner Joe Biden as well as his son, Hunter Biden.

Trump repeated conspiracy theories about the Bidens on Monday, calling them a “disgrace.” But Smith said, “there is no known evidence that Biden did anything wrong.”

The real problem, he said, isn’t Biden at all. It’s Trump ― and specifically, what Trump said during his phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky

Smith laid it out:

"The real issue here is the phone call. The claim that the president pressured a foreign leader to investigate a political rival and the failure to pass the whistleblower complaint to Congress. Now, among the Democrats, the pressure to impeach this president is building."

According to The Washington Post, Trump ordered acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney to delay nearly $400 million in military aid to Ukraine ahead of his phone call to Zelensky.

Dude. So what ! The POTUS has every right to speak with and have confidential conversations with every world leader in the world. So long as he does not promise aid if they drop that. ETC. Should Trump had asked how that original investigation into the Bidens is going, so what ? Should the current Pres or someone from the DOJ ask what verifiable proof the Ukrainian Prosecutors have regarding the Biden participation in a legitimate sovereign Ukrainian investigation into internal corruption, so what.  The point is that a sitting V.P. at the time, under the previous administration,  specifically stated to the President of Ukraine that if you want this $1,000,000,000 in aid :eyebrows: you must fire the Prosecutor investigating my son. Tell me is it coincidental that the Ukrainian government also dropped the investigation against Hunter Biden also ? Corruption and graft on a Vice Presidential Level. Just another rabbit hole the Dems are trying to make, to take the focus off of the corruption they have interwoven into their policy making.

Ok Folks....I'm definitely getting out ( hey, wait a second...Don't open that champagne bottle  now.....didn't end my statement yet.....What were you all thinking??? LOL) of US Politics articles and personal thoughts/opinions posting ( starting from today , as you can see in today's articles in my Politics and Environs thread)...

This way there will be so many tensions, rage, resentful reactions and problems avoided for everybody ( including myself of course)...I can't say I like this decision ( in fact I do not) of mine as I'd like to keep posting any news /article (and express my personal thoughts on whatever)  I'd feel like posting but the issues and tensions which this is causing to me and many US Folks apparently here are just too much and I do not need any of that, sincerely...

Plus the fact and the thought I might offend, enrage, upset, disrespect anyone on this Forum ( even if that was NEVER my intention) it's certainly something  I do not want to, nor look for...

...So...I'll post only political articles on other Countries from now on  excluding the USA....

Best

You make the same argument a Trump talking head made last night...you seem to believe it's against the law for VP Biden to do as you claim (though, there's zero evidence to support that claim) but brush aside pOTUS Donald for doing the same thing (which he has admitted) as a nonstarter.  It's amazing how enamored some people have gotten with this con man.  There's really no point trying to explain the follies of embedded trump supporters, for that rabbit hole is obviously bottomless....so, I'll simply agree to disagree and keep posting as I see fit, some  of it funny, some news articles.  Enjoy at your leisure if you so desire.

I would like all the politicians to shut up and do their job.  In the last 11 years can you name any major piece of Legislation that has helped anyone beside the fabulously wealthy.  Bet you can’t name 5 without looking it up. Executive Orders don’t count.  What are those morons in DC doing?
