Iraq is already international save their curencyu. They have international banking, they trade (import and export) internationally and they have international investments and investors. They need more investors though. If the delete the zeros project takes them two years, the TV will be a ramp up process and may not reach a one to one until the process is complete if they manage the float.

The World Investment Forum of the United Nations in Geneva, Iraq, gave a certificate of appreciation for its efforts in simplifying procedures, completing the handbook, completing the transactions, the responsible person and the time required to complete them.

"The Ministry of Commerce Registrar of Companies received ten points in the assessment of the tenth World Investment Forum held in Geneva and Iraq was honored with three countries out of 138 countries," said the Director General of the Registrar of Companies in the Ministry of Commerce and a member of the Iraqi delegation to the Forum. Post in the Forum ".

"The forum informed the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers of its decision to award the certificate to a number of Iraqi employees for their efforts to receive complaints and transparency of work as well as speed in the side of transactions and reduce time."

It is noteworthy that the Registrar of Companies in the Ministry of Commerce operates according to clear and transparent mechanisms based on the laws in force and instructions for registration of domestic and international companies, thus contributing to increase investment and attract international companies.

This is the first time that Iraq has received a certificate of appreciation from the United Nations World Investment Forum.

The Ministry of Commerce, Registrar of Companies, received ten points in the assessment of the 10th World Investment Forum held in Geneva, Iraq was honored with three of the 138 countries, said the Director General of the Registrar of Companies in the Ministry of Commerce and member of the Iraqi delegation to the Forum. Participating in the forum '.

Morning CF . . . this is reminiscent of Obama be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for pretty much doing nothing at that point but being who he was/is.

 

Now fast forward to this " Certificate of Appreciation " - the Begging for $$$$ forum held earlier this year was a FLOP, investments are so so owing to rampant corruption, a new "gubment" finally seats after nearly 6 months, No resolution to the HCL in sight, STILL a toilet paper currency - and in general things pretty much in disarray.

The final review refers to the 3-year 2016 SBA with the IMF. Iraq and the IMF agreed to three reviews in which would review the benchmarks set forth in the plan. The final review is referring to this third review by the IMF. However, since the  SBA is 3 years, the completion of the time is in May/June 2019, this final review may not occur in November but towards the end of the SBA. Iraq has had previous SBA's with the IMF, most notably in 2009 and lasting until 2012.

The Hamster on my Brain wheel is running pretty fast right now - Am I off base thinking the Investment Law ( being passed ) has not been " implemented ". . . ?

 

If so, the GOI seated kinda/sorta with as yet no clear indication " who's got the Biggest "(), 4 ministers left to be confirmed et al. . . I reckon we're waiting at the very least on that (Investment Law) to be implemented before the CBI would get warm fuzzies about pushing the button.

AM I on the right track ?
