On April 27th...CBI gave us a rate of a RI.

Dr Salah said the 50 Dinar note was valued at $43 or .86 cents.

That means your 2 25K notes are equal to the fake 50K notes is worth $43,000 in Iraq.

 

 

Luigi says this is from TNT Tnoy site so treat as a rumor until its varified by many sources.

If true...it looks like a 1 to 1.


Note:  this is not a RI if true...A RI would be the old pre Sadam exchange rate near $3.20.

Umbert how did you learn about this iraq dinar we so love to hate?

 I read something about it on an internet ad  or maybe in a general forum...can't recall exactly..either one.. It was around 2004...

Most holders we talk to are living in the US/Canada...do you think there are a large percentage holding dinar in Europe?

 I don't think so, SG.... About Italy...I only met once an Italian  female holder from another Forum... That was 5-6 years ago. She had learned about it only because she was working  years before as a Civilian with US Forces in Iraq and  had gotten together  ( they were a couple with a child) with a US Soldier

 

 In regard to other European Countries I'd say most Dinar holders might be in the UK.. Just my impression... But not many compared to the US of course
