The Central Bank of Iraq denied on Monday what the media and social media reported on the entry of the US dollar currency from Libya to Iraq.
In a statement received by Mawazine News, the bank said it "denies the media and social media coverage of news about the entry of the US dollar from Libya, noting that its verification procedures were carried out by exchanging information with the relevant agencies inside and outside Iraq."
The bank warned of "fraud and fraud may be practiced by some in this area and confirms the continuation of its control and audit procedures in the circulation of foreign currency in accordance with its instructions in order to ensure the safety of foreign currency circulation."
He pointed out that he "calls on all media to be careful in dealing with the news of the inaccurate news of the negative effects on the stability of the financial system and banking in Iraq."

BAGHDAD / Al-Masala: The Central Bank of Iraq denied on Monday, February 25, 2019, the entry of the US dollar currency from Libya to the country, warning of "fraud and corruption may be practiced by some in this area."

The bank said in a statement that "the bank denies the media and social networking news of the entry of the US dollar from Libya, the verification procedures of its non-existence has been the exchange of information with the relevant agencies inside and outside Iraq."

The bank warned of "fraud and fraud may be practiced by some in this area and we confirm our continued to take control and audit procedures in the circulation of foreign currency in accordance with our instructions in order to ensure the safety of foreign currency circulation."

"We call on all media to be careful in dealing with the news of inaccurate news that has negative effects on the stability of the banking and financial system in Iraq," the bank said.

You are correct Laid Back, this has been the plan all along for Iraq. Bring in USD to the country to bring down the number of circulating notes, now, the Dinar note count is where the CBI feels it comfortable to begin to revert back to its countries currency. 

Iraq is sitting on a vast wealth of natural resources, we know this, we also know that they, and, the rest of the world want Iraq as international partners, everyone wins. 😉

All the issues that Iraq has to overcome to be on the international stage is now being accomplished, hence we are now seeing many articles from the CBI. IMO, the HCL agreement is done, but there is still some stalling for the implementation of this law, perhaps it's the final stages of corruption at this level to be dealt with. 

Iraq's people are still suffering, but, the situation is improving. A currency with a TRUE value will surely improve the situation, and we can see this plan being unfolded now. A little more patience is required my friends, not what you want to hear, but Iraq is on the right track.

The Central Bank of Iraq denied what the media and social networking news of the entry of the dollar from Libya.

The bank said in a statement that the procedures for verification of its non-existence was the exchange of information with the relevant agencies inside and outside Iraq .

The bank warned of fraud and corruption that may be practiced by some in this area, stressing its continued to take control and auditing procedures in the circulation of foreign currency in accordance with the instructions in force to ensure the safety of foreign currency circulation .

He called on all media to be accurate, because the impact of inaccurate news negatively on the stability of the financial system and banking in Iraq.

I possess nowhere near the understanding as some of the other posters in this thread. However it sounds to me as if the people of Iraq were so starved for a currency they're now looking to the Libyan dollar to pay their bills. This in my opinion would be a very good thing for the RV.

Good morning LGD, you are correct sir. At present one Libyan Dinar has a exchange rate of today .72 cents to the US dollar. 

One Iraq Dinar has a value of .00084 to the US dollar.  

The Iraqi people are looking for sources of value to be able to purchase goods and services, the Iraq dinar at the moment does not do so. Perhaps this would be a good time to give value to the IQD, it will give a huge injection of confidense for the citizens, and,. the first step to becoming a country with international potential.
