MP for the coalition of Kurdish blocs Mahma Khalil, all contracted the CBI with (4) known international companies to print new currency for the printing of the new national currency after deletion of zeros of them, describing the project to delete the three zeroes from the currency as "successful" and the time is perfect for a replacement. Said Khalil (Agency news) on Sunday:

We have not read much news on deletion of zero's until today. Again one article stating it is on hold, and now an article that appears a picture of the lower new denoms. So one is left wondering why did they kick Shabs out if they planned to bring in the currency anyway? I can't imagine Maliki wants to spend the green in CBI on new currency but rather on the deficit and his infrastructure plan and his pockets.

We also have the New US Dollars (susposedly) coming out january 1st (according to that article that came out a few weeks ago about the UST-$100 bills that were stolen), it might make sence that if this is a currency reset, that all currencies involved come out at the same time??? Im REALLY hoping that it RV's tomorrow not on the first (after all that would be after the Meyan calander says that the world as we know it will come to an end, or as some have said a New beginning:)

A member of the Economic Commission deputy / Kurdistan Alliance bloc / Mahma Khalil, all contracted the Iraqi Central Bank with (4) known international companies for the printing of new currency for the printing of the new national currency after you delete the zeros of which, describing the project to delete the three zeroes of currency to “successful” and the ideal time to replace them.

Mr.M kick Shabibi out IMO because Shabibi refuse to take the next step on the Deletion of the 3 zero's... Shabibi says no you have to give up of some that Power and Spread it around...Mr. M say's ain't gonna Happen..I'm gonna Replace you...Which was Illegal... :lol: again JMO

We have seen articles that have talked about the new currency, this sound similar but looks new. Maybe Maliki wants to be the one to say I did this but we won't know until it happens. I say lets see how this pans out.

No problem (it's "sense") A reset of the USD might not be the best for us, especially if that signals a declining value of the USD. You are right. After Dec 21st and that long-count calendar thingy we might be toast anyway so maybe we shouldn't sweat a global currency reset.

What I find most interesting is that they appear to have "contracted" 4 seperate printers.

That might mean they are in a "hurry up " mode to get all the new denom's printed as quickly as paossible.

It would follow that the RV and/or redenomination is comming sooner, rather than delayed to 2014, as some have said in recent articles.

Sometimes I wonder if the Iraqis deliberately distribute RV teasers to encourage the foreign currency sales in order to increase their US funds account.

Selling Dinar could be their second single biggest export earner after petroleum products. has anyone looked at that?

As far as I know the Iraq customs will strictly limit the amount of IQD coming back into the country. It is only really traded by Dealers who have no need to get it back to iraq due to the demand outside Iraq.

Are the Iraqis themselves the biggest pumpers? There has been a constant stream of "its going down tomorrow" or "next week for sure" etc for the 3 years I have been involved with this.

Yes i know dealers make good money encouraging pumping but its the actual original source thats interesting.

It would be easy for the Iraqis to release this sort of information to credible sources who dont necessarily know they are been pumped.

Its a good business for the CBI. Selling something that they make hard to buy back and that doesn't screw up their internal economy. Its held outside the country by Dinar investors and doesnt actually interplay with their economy to increase inflation. I have a suspicion that The Iraqis will make it very hard to cash across their border when time comes.

I'm not saying the currency will not eventually increase. But dont you get the feeling that we are been played a bit.

They are after all one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
