This very thing happened last year and the year before. Everybody thought that the budget would show the rate and they would revalue their currency. Didn't happen, and I know we're so close we can almost taste it. Just try not to put so much stock in the budget. I think this thing hinges more on tax and banking laws than the budget. I really do hope they crack this nut this month. Stay grounded and have a nice day :)

Who knows the real thruth as to what happens behind closed doors, for all I know it could be done.

That is very true.....

It is my understanding that when Kwait's dinar was re-instated back in the 90's it took 15 days to hit forex and the intertional market. (again that is my understanding). So with that being said could Iraq have already rv'ed and now they are scrambling to get this done by the 15th??? Just a simple theory but that could rationalize this rush to get things done quick action we are seeing...

But hey I could be way off base on this too....

As you know this is all speculation, but you could be right, rv may have been authorized and just waiting to hit forex before revealing it on CBI

I think the HCL holds more stock than the budget does...........IMHO

I'd rather see that HCL pass.

Also, I see a lot of transparency begining to happen. So I don't belive in the "behind closed doors" thing, that the rv happened and waiting to hit forex. I just don't buy into it. I feel we will get a clear picture without saying it RV'D that it's going to happen

Yeah just like Obama and his national healthcare plan....all behind closed doors.

Why? Is this a necessary statement that added something to the topic at hand? I am NOT an Obama supporter but I get really tired of his name or politics being brought up in all the topics....if they pertain to him or not.

Sorry....I am not usually so touchy but it's getting old.....

Personally I would like to see the budget before the HCL.

I think it's possible we have not seen the HCL published because they are waiting on the budget.

As far as the "behind closed doors" meetings....I too consider most of that, made up guru trash
