Carrello
I've never skied the Tahoe area. I hope to some day. Cabin's are cool. I generally stay in the cheapest dives I can find in ski towns. Works for me. North side, south side, and Squaw. Can't do too much better. If you come this far, you should go over to Mammoth. Beautiful.

mcdinarut
If you went to LV, you can drive to Disneyland in Anaheim in less than 4 hours. It is a trip that is mainly open highway except for the last hour or so. Not bad and nice scenery for someone from the Midwest that has not seen it before. There is a lot to do around Disneyland. You can make it to the beach in about a half hour. Could be fun. The last time I was there, 10-12 years ago, the card people were hanging around Circus Circus. It was a pit. Unless it has dramatically changed, I would not go near there, more or less with a child. Mc, is it that way in other places now? I don't want to scare bama off and have to decide not to go. Carello- it's still the same. The advertIsements are every where- billboards, mobile billboards, posters, magazine displays. It's pretty much everywhere. I'm pretty conservative, but my kids have been to Vegas. Just be careful where you go. There are family friendly shows, and some of the rides are great. They are going to have to wear a Lopper Bib too.

fancy
Actually, we could sponsor one or two or three or four WW families for the weekend (or whatever it is). I DO NOT MEAN THIS IS A PR STUNT. NO PHOTOS. NO ONE BEING RECOGNIZED. Just a tribute to our troops done quietly. Most beautiful idea, please count me in on this one for sure. Thank you Carrello for thinknig of this.

Anti This Anti That
I estimate all the party people, and gamblers will be broke within two years, and most homeless. I would say 90% will be singing the blues. Do you people really think the casino's are going to let you win? WOW! LOL! 1

cajunrescuemedic
Once we RV, it would be nice. I wouldn't put a date on such things just yet, as the Iraqis love to drag their feet on things. But a get together in Vegas sure sounds fun. Just may have to go there in the RV I'll get, after we RV. GO RV !!!
smee2
I just had to laugh at the post where it comments on the possibility of free rooms. That is real poverty consciousness at work there, fella. I would have thought that most of the people on the forum were the types who would have been into studying wealth, and the road you must travel to get there, and how to maintain what you have when you have it. In all that the main concept is the consciousness of wealth ... you have wealth ... wealth is already yours ... wealth is being developed somewhere in the universe at this very second and needs only to be brought to you through positive thinking, wealth consciousness. You need only tell the universe how much you expect and that is how much you get. If you ask for $5000 to paint the house you might win a minor lottery. If you want a million, expect a million. If you want three million, expect three million (but have the basis for it like this investment). And if you, through your sub conscious ... tell the universe that you cannot afford a room at a casino once you have gone through the rv process? ... Well, what do you think? It could take forever. Come on guys ... get positive. My husband taught me how to be positive about things that drove me nuts and they stopped being that way. When I go to the mall I tell myself, even saying it out loud, that there is always a parking space for me. And by golly there it is, right by the door I want and is empty and waiting for me to come to it to park. Nine years and I have never had problems with parking spots. Just a small example but it works in larger ways, and if you can think of a larger way than the rv ... well just be assured it works there too. So start getting positive about the rv. You won't need free hotel rooms, or a free jet, or free bar service. You will have enough and be grateful to have enough, to get anything you want. That is why you are reading here about the after party. So, negativity about any of this ... be gone! hahahahaha smee2
precious1
Good post, smee2 See, I think most of us do that. We think positive on one thing ( like RV not L0p) but then allow stinking thinking to disrupt the positives in every day thinking. Excellent reminder of how to stay on track! winterset
I estimate all the party people, and gamblers will be broke within two years, and most homeless. I would say 90% will be singing the blues. Do you people really think the casino's are going to let you win? WOW! LOL! Are you even invested??????? I'm sure even the MOST sensible will definately celibrate when the RV occurs! You may choose something different than Vegas, so start your own thread and maybe you will have others that agree with your thought process. I for one love the "Blues", would also like to plan a trip to New Orleans! My mother-in-law is invested and her plan is strictly to enjoy the rest of her life! Being a breast cancer survivor she knows how short life could be. There was talk of a possible cruise, I'm in for that as well. I could do a cruise!
fnbplanet
Count me in - when we get the final list of who's coming, we'll have to have proper nametags with our "handles" on them. Always wanted to do a helicopter ride over the desert.... Oh! Before I forget: Until otherwise notified, I want to enter an unauthorized hotel vote for "Thug". You guessed it: Circus Circus (gotta party with him!) What fun this will be!
BradyBear
Sure my wonderful wife and I don't gamble but Vegas is a lot of fun so we will attend. want Smee2 we enjoy your wisdom and want to meet you some day like in Vegas and your absolutely right in what you said. Except, the hotels and casino sure will offer free rooms because they know many will be Big Spendors and by far make up for the free rooms. RodandStaff
I am dying to put faces with screen names!! I am dying to put faces with screen names!! Now bama... don't be dying twice as fast on us now!!! The party hasn't even started! I think it may surprise a lot of us when we put the face to the name... and of course I mean the real name. I believe in anonymity to a point, but this will likely go beyond that into real friendships for some of us... which will be awesome! I was also thinking of "MUSIC CITY" for a central location for a post RV party.... after all, is only one party enough??? GO RV Already Baby!!! WE got a party to plan!!!

I guess that would be "positive thinking too!"
