as long as business is good, i'm not planing on selling anytime soon even if it does RV. i try not to associate my personal name or credential to my business so my clients do not feel that they need be in contact with me for any job. i made it where that even my assistant can coordinate with them when i'm not here. much more efficient to deal with the stress level involved.

heheh.....me dad had a number of Business...and i worked for him on one of them...he never said it but it always showed when ever he did something ...and it basically boils down to this.... "Work Smarter, NOT Harder..." example: Opening the store is the easiest thing to do....me an me bro had a hard time just to "Open" the doors. me dad came a long and "snap" without any effort he opened it...me and me bro was like... WTF? than he turned to us and said...."You have to be Smarter than the Door."

Just curious as to some avenues that some of us will take post RV. Aside from real estate, stock markets, etc; What would be your dream job/career that you will be able to finance after this investment pays? I, for one, will pursue the common-type investments, but my secondary dream career is to open a small bistro and maybe parlay it into a chain. I don't want to give up details and menu style for the obvious reasons, so I'll skip to my #1 dream job: A record label that enables me to seek out talent around the world per my genre(s) of choice. Cheezy huh? LOL. I mean, i'll get to do some traveling for work, and listen to many artists do their thing, and perhaps create an opportunity that they otherwise may never have. I'm realistic in my expectations, and know how competitive the entertainment is, but in order to get an edge, sometimes you have to create one. Soooo, ROCK OUT WITH YOUR......Ummm..... Volume cranked up!!! Who's next?

Buy exotic real estate and yachts & sell fractional ownership to other investors and start a magazine (resort jobs unlimited) doing features on the best jobs at the best resorts & eat, drink & play golf and trade forex. :D

Purchase a retreat center/youth camp property... it has been a dream of ours for over 32 years.. this could do it! So I will be busy... but happy doing what I have been wanting to do for years!

I have tried doing it while working for others and found that to not work out very well (long story)... so would love to do it ourselves!

I would love to start a teen center & animal rescue center, get the kids to help with the animals which will help both parties.

The kids in my area have nothing to do but hang out at the walmart & handy mart, I want to get them off the streets & give them something positive to do & at the same time take in the unwanted & discarded animals.

Our family started a music publishing company & we now have opened a recording studio June 1st. My oldest son is a songwriter. He is partnered with a guy who's father was a hit songwriter in Nashville. We have about an 800 song catalog. All I want to do is the music bizz full time! Too much fun!

A few years ago I had to stop working ... I developed a disability that keeps me from being able to do the work I had done most of my life and I was not close to retirement. I am now ... close to retirement age ... and have been retired these past years, unfortunately.

So, what I would like to do when I have the financial wherewithall to do it ... I want to travel, with a very strong, and hopefully gorgeous male nurse (yes I am a dirty old broad, hahaha) ... and we will go round the world, checking into planes, hotels, theatres, opera houses, other events like concerts, and play lands, and Disney type things. We will take cruises to see the icebergs calving, watch the sunset on the Caribbean, maybe rent out a Moorish style home on the Riviera ... wow, this is getting better by the minute.

What the point of all this is, will be to write travel articles for magazines, and then make them into books that tell disabled people where they will find elevators instead of stairs. Where they can move about in a wheel chair if that is their situation. Where they can go to a lounge or restaurant or bistro or street cafe that will be comfortable for them if they use a cane, a walker, a wheel chair, and need a helper to get in and out of the chair or even get up out of a restaruant seat or make it to a bathroom without having to face stairs or doorways too narrow for a wheel chair.

I want to go to ski hills, though I do not ski, and find out if disabled people can come with friends, maybe stay in doors while their friends ski, and still have fun and not feel like they are a fifth wheel.

I want to take the tours that go to and through castles of Europe and the British Isles, and the gardens made famous, and stone bridges, and windmills, and ... well, you get the idea.

I want to do all those things, see all the gorgeous places in other parts of the world that end up being photographs on yearly calendars.

But I want to do it, as a disabled person, with a helper, so I can find out what others in my situation CAN do. We don't do so much because it is too difficult, or impossible. There MUST be a way to do at least part of this kind of world exploration and travel for amazement. I want to find that way and share it.

So, that is my new job ... the one waiting for me when after my ship comes in.

Very interesting post Mega, I have a group of folks that I am involved with that are pursueing a business in the same catergory as yours, it involves principles utilizing angular force generation, I AM NOT an expert regarding this. but was introduced to it by some business partners that I have. Currently they are working to raise monies to build the units...It would be very interesting, at some point when it is available for you to do so, to hear about what you have going...I may use some of my wealth to invest in it, I would need to speak to my group and get MUCH greater info. prior to doing so...maybe one day we can chat!

I can safely and very proudly say ......I am already in my dream job. I am a registered mental health nurse and drug and alcohol nurse specialist. However, my plans for when this is over are as follows. Mental health and substance misuse are my passion. I love working with these members of society. . So when my ship come in this is my plan......there is an identified lack of structure in many of these peoples lives hence , why some of the mentally ill become lost in the system and they can at times end up feeling they are "useless" members of society. Most of these people do actually want to contribute to their communities and have a strong wish to be accepted by society and to be able to feel "normal". . Unfortunately, despite various government campaigns and through the help of others to try to remove the stigma of suffering mental illness , it continues to be that many are unwilling to give these individuals a chance and much of this comes through fear of the unknown and ignorance. Similar problems are their for people who mis use substances. I intend to find some land and open a working farm for these two disadvantaged groups of society. I am fortunate that my father was a farmer and I was raised on a large dairy. . This farm will offer rehab. For substance misusers and help provide a purpose for the mentaLly ill. They will be given a wage and hopefully some will eventually gain full time employment because of this experience. It will have a residential area where the person can live within the safety of the farm if the need to. It will also be a place of life long learning for the people who are willing to be within its care. These people will then have structure in their lives and this will assist them to make positive contributions within the community. It will also provide various other forms of therapy including REB T and C. B. T. It shall also have SMART Recovery support as an ongoing long term therapy. Education shall be provided for social work students , ot. And nursing students. The local community will be able to visit and shop at the farm shop where there will be home produce available and various things the farm hands have made. ( Many people who suffer mental illness are very artistic). This is only a very small part of my dream. . So you see in a way I will continue as a nurse.....it is just that my practice will have diversified some what. .

Attraction and Life coach.. but beyond the J.O.B.... my passion is watching those I love and those I meet make their dreams and passions come true with the financial freedom we can experience from this.. 1 to 1... would be life changing for us.. over that would be life changing for many, many, many!!

Stay home and allow my kids to get to know me better and to allow me to know my kids better. Teach them the things my father taught me (I have 2 boys). Travel is unattainable due to living to work theory. It will all change..............ALL!!!!!!
