  2. I really do want to see O get impeached....but here's another prob...if that get done...then B becomes in charge...and i don't know if that would be a better trade off...B is just as bad...the guy can decide wither just to admit he's stupid and made a miss informed statement regarding his claims or deny that he's stupid and the make excuses about it. in which he done time and time again on public TV....
  3. Okay...i've worked for McD's about 30 year ago. one of me first jobs. back then it was $5.25/hr. even back they i had more sense to not accept that as a long term solution to my financial needs. but i promised them if they hired me i'd stay at least 6 months. at my interview my manager told me..."Why do you want to work here? you are WAY TOO over Qualified for this job." i told her "Yes, i know i'm over qualified for this Job, but times are hard right now and no one is hiring. But if you hire me today i'll stay for at least 6 months." and that i did. Six months later another opportunity was opened up for me. Now, the FIRST day i trained the drive thru and front counter register. Not much study necessary and cause i could understand the whole process. the 2nd hour on the job i was alone in the drive thru taking multiple orders and handing out orders. the Next day, i opened for the morning shift before the reg crew got there. prepped everything from Coffee to Eggs and opened the drive thru for the morning customer waiting out side. it was just me and my sup and and nice old retired woman that made the orders. for the next 2 hrs till the reg arrived. that same day before my shift ended. the kitchen crew was getting slammed with orders...and without any training wot so ever, i went over to help them prep. the owner saw me that 3rd day and said, "Joni! you working both sides?!?! WT...you only be here 3 days!" ....i said to her, "like i said before...and you guys already know...'I'm to over qualified for this job, but thank you for the op..'" since then, they gave me the keys to open the store in the mornings before the morning manager arrived to set the cash boxes up. but sort live my employment was, before the 3 month they offered me a Manager position, but i asked the other managers...how much more would you make as a manager...they all said...not much just about .25 cents more than wot you get now. i was like "WTF?!? O_O thats it!?!?" Thus, it was easy for me to turn down...that much stress to endure for only 25 cents more..."NOPE not for me!", i thought. but what the CEO was saying is correct...if you don't have the drive to to better and don't know what you think you are worth. then, stuck in the rat race you will be.

  9. I was working the grave yard shift this past weekend, and it wasn’t until the last night that this dawned on me. I was really freaking board! But before that, the first two nights, I passed the time by playing games on my phone (Candy Crush/Pet Rescue/Fruit Ninjas), and watching clips on YouTube. It did fill up the void of “Boredom” until I had to do my hourly patrol, but there is only so much u can play or watch before you get board of doing that, too! However, it occurred to me that last night, when you are really that board & no one to talk to or even awake for that matter, your mind start to drift and think about a lot of weird things. “Sleep” would be one of them, but of course I was thinking about my job and the task at hand. But, weird things pop into your head, like What would I do if someone tried to mug me from the dark shadows of the night? Do I poke them silly with my umbrella, or do I beat them senselessly to the ground with it?? And THEN, start asking them questions. OR do I Question them first, then poke them silly or beat them senselessly with my umbrella or maybe even both? But getting back to my point. So, there I was on guard duty all alone under the open air, lightly lit sidewalk, cool sea breezes, rain clouds with passing showers & me sitting under the tall tree for cover from the rain. Then that dark gray satin like cloud curtain opened up, and out appears this brilliant celestial body of perfectly arranged stars forming the constellations. I recalled the last time I ever did something like that was way back in High School, and that was a freaking long time ago. The clear night starry sky was “Breath Takinglly Beautiful”! the first thought in my head was, “hmmm…wow…that’s cool…”. That’s when the effect of boredom really hit me. I thought, “Damn, I’ve forgotten most of what I learned about this thing!” I’m not saying this is true for everyone, but as you get older and you concentrated so much on your career or profession, the things you know all to well that “you could do it in your sleep”, the details of what you do sometime overshadow the “Simple things” that should be fairly common Knowledge. But how well do you know about things that should be common knowledge? The “Simple things”, you know what they basics, meaning, function, and purpose are(probably), through common knowledge, but that’s all you know about it. for instance, did you know that the wind blows because of the change in temperature(theres more reason but that’s the most common one)? Oh, and the wind doesn’t blow because some big guy exhaled or farted really hard. At that same time I recalled a Japanese Anime I once saw. It was about 3 middle school girls would have absolutely NOTHING to do. They weren’t very bright, mostly ditsy, but totally hilarious to watch. At the beginning of the school year. they were wandering around campus trying to find something to do, so they stumbled upon a club room that had NO club members. The “Data Entry” club. Which had a couple of computers hooked up to the internet. So, thus adding to the “Data Entry” club its new and only members. But, since they all weren’t that bright to begin with. They had no idea what exactly does the “Data Entry” club does. So, since the computers were there, they used it to surf the internet on random but very “Common” things where they just search for the word “Cats” or “Cows”. Not surprising, they come up with millions of sites on the subject. But the sit there for hours reading site on the subject and amazingly come up with a lot of information that even I didn’t know. They would spend the afternoon on one subject and sum up what they learned in one sentence and write on the “White Board” for the Teach/Club advisor to read. Thus, the influence that brought me to that long boring night of random thoughts. I downloaded the “Wikipedia” app to my phone, and once it was up loaded, dear God, a world of knowledge in the palm of my hand. But didn’t know where to start. So like the 3 Japanese students in the anime, I search for one phrase random…well not really random cause as I sat there in under the starry night sky the subject of search was influenced by my surrounding, the things I see and felt. But, as most research goes one thing always lead you to another and another. There I sat with so much to learn/relearn my boredom turned into a plan, and only interrupted by my hourly task or strange events that I have to report. But when my task was done, I had at least 45 min till my next hourly task to do. Within that 45 min I read and read and read, every so often looking up observe my surroundings. Throughout the night I searched and read many things, and some of which weren’t very “Light” reading. My plan was to, avoid the boredom by just doing this. there’s a lot stuff out there to explore…even if you are just sitting in a chair. Now, if you are curious to what was my random search… The Simpson’s: Hit and Run video game International Olympic Committee: future Site selection process 2012 Delhi gang rape case Voyager I space probe. Saturn: Mythological Origin Dark Matter Baryons Dark Space Clouds Winds Planetary Winds Solar Winds Like I said, not “Light” reading. My one sentence summary: “The Simpsons” will be playing a game in South Korea, which the “IOC” selected to be for 2018 winter Olympics, which will be far away from “Delhi” where the gang rape happened, there were no pictures take, but the “Voyager I” probe to a lot of great pictures of “Saturn”, which was named after a Greek God, who massed an impressive accomplishment that that can be symbolized by the mass of universe in which 85% of it is “Dark Matter” that is not visible, but “Baryons” are particles that can, however, “Dark Space” is what it is…but “Clouds” and wonder in to an empty space by the “Winds”, “Planetary Winds”, & even “Solar Winds” the lesson: While we wait...why not do something else constructive.

  14. when i was there i ate the fishes, squid, Oysters, and Wakame that were harvested that hour from the fishing village not far from Fukushima....didn't get sick...for caught anything...so, i do not understand what all the hubbub is about. when i spoke to the people of some of these places id asked them about the radiation levels. many times, i've heard the same response. "The radiation levels are no more different than that of before the accident." i didn't really know what that ment, but didn't sound so bad. over there...life goes on as normal or try to.
  15. Okay....just like to say. Me was IN Tohoku last year to help out in some of the devastated areas. and i'm not glowing in the dark! seen first hand wot the damage was and interacting with some of the survivors. things are Slowly being to come back. some areas will never be the same or ever be able to rebuild. but slowly, things are coming together for them after almost 3 years since then. the people there have a little bit sense of hope. communities/residence/business pulling together to rebuild its amazes me. however, the shadow of the fact that their cities or towns and smaller villages may never come back still remains. that the one thing they don't want to see. they do not want to be forgotten or have their cities or town forever whipped off the map and fade away into history. I've gone back many times since then, now if all that is true, if I become at risk of "Whatever" will happen to me....and my life come to an end as a result....SO be IT! i have done what i could for them for a little while, and i will go to my grave with dignity & honor knowing i did something to help. What have you done?
