Thank you LGD.  My son was an over the road trucker for more than 12 years, with over a million safe driving miles.  I remember him having to out run night time tornado's. :o  Scary stuff.

I know what the trucking industry is like, and my son misses it, but not all the BS they have to put up with.  He especially HATED the e-logs. One of the reason he finally quit. He would probably go back in a heartbeat, if he didn't have to deal with them. A lot of truckers look at it as another form of communism. And I agree.

My husband was a diesel mechanic at a TA truck stop for 20 1/2 years. He retired last summer.  He doesn't missed it too much. He is enjoying retirement. :D

Stay Safe, and KEEP ON TRUCKIN" :twothumbs: :tiphat:

Now that is some serious rain coming down there Scotty.

Did you have to pull over during it or were you already stopped?

I used to work within the trucking industry many years ago in a service garage as parts manager.

I met a lot of great guys and some not so great, but one thing was for certain, they were faithful in their duties

and so many do not always realize how important trucking business is, it literally keeps the country moving.

Thank you!

The pics of the hail over the road were just 5 miles from the job site I was delivering to. The videos were at the site. To tell the truth I sat there for over 2 hrs and at the end was beginning to get nervous, but finally everything was calm. I was unloaded and down the road in record time :easyrider::lol:
