Though I would have loved to watch Trump beat Kim down over the death of Otto and bring a little comfort to the Warmbiers, in the grand scheme of things and as shallow as it will sound, denuclearizing NK is the only mission right now, though this trip yielded nothing.  Point being, further pissing off Kim is probably not the best idea right now.  As always, just my opinion.

NK wanted all the sanctions removed so they could open one area up for inspection. Trump asked about the other areas and they were stunned that we knew about them. They said no and didn’t acknowledge the other areas. All other presidents have removed sanctions for very little. President Trump said total de nuke or total sanctions remain. I salute our President for standing firm. First time we have had someone with a backbone. At least he didn’t send them 1.6 billion dollars in the dead of night.

I wonder what the parents of Brian Terry are thinking of Eric Holder and Barack Obama when they sanctioned "Fast and Furious".

I wonder what the parents of the dead men sent to protect an ambassador think of Sec H. Clinton when she and the President abandoned them that night?

While I'm on a bit of a roll let me ask this.....as a parent....even of a kid legally of age to do so.....would you advise your kid to visit NOKO....or even permit them to do so....?......especially if you knew your kid was somewhat rebellious, perhaps entitled and impulsive?

 

This kid went into this 3rd World ***** country....and abused their flag......did he think it was a joke?......

 

In no way did he deserve what happened.....it wouldn't have happened if he had never visited!  As parents we can do better by our kids.....all through their entire lives!.......JMO....CL

Is this true?  I never heard this before.  The way I heard it on the news was that he took a poster off the wall (stole it, I guess) because he wanted to keep it for a souvenir.  I never heard anyone say he abused their flag.  Where did you hear that he abused their flag?

Every country has thier own laws.....In NOKO it is illegal for a foreigner to touch thier flag. While Intoxicated that last night Warmbier went looking for souvenirs....yes they have pictures in a hall way of him removing a poster ....but in the lobby he was stopped by the front desk trying to take a flag. 

Any area governments, or area media, spin these political events to their liking, or advantage. The West promoted the poster theft. The crime was breaking a law...and of course theft is illegal in most countries....and NOKO has some strict laws....say a college kid had a picture of his girlfriend on his phone and she was on a beach in a bikini....that would be considered as porn.....up to 15 years in prision....

Smuggle a Bible in.....could get you a death sentence. Just an ass backwards country............basketball rules....a dunk is worth 3 points...missed free throw....minus 1 point....shots made in last few minutes of game....8 points each...(sorry...forget the actual length of time)...3 minutes?

 

Neighboring countries usually supply the most accurate accounts.....such as India in this case.....The UK has some accurate Info as well....

 

The whole trip was misconceived from the beginning....Otto should still be in America living the dream...as a college student still being supported by his parents.....those parents should have said no to the trip.....

 

Last thought......highly reported that he was beaten......and this caused his death.....google it for some info on that if interested...

 

Bottom line....don't let your kids visit these countries....kind of along the lines of...."those things happen to others.......that would never happen to my kid!"
