Why Your Friends Don't Have IQD

You've heard the old adage you can lead a horse to the water but you can't make him drink. Some people are like that. They can be staring right at something and not see it. All you can do is tell the story, it's up to them to make a decision.

CG: that is one of my favorite analogies, with a slight modification:

You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make him drink, but at least he had the opportunity!

Hi there

I have a small group in SW Florida. One of it's members is really angry with those of his friends who did not follow his advice and buy IQD. I've used different analogies and allogories in an effort to get him past it but nothing has helped. When I say that he is angry ... his response is WAY OVER THE TOP!

Today it occurred to me how to explain it to him though. I called and asked him if he remembered Tom Cruise in the movie "Top Gun" and he did. I asked him if he remembered when Goose was killed and Maverick had a serious confidence problem. He said that he did. I then asked if he remembered the scene where Maverick had been cleared of the incident and was back in an F14 in a Top Gun dogfight with an F4 when he suddenly disengaged. He said, "yeah" .

In the movie, Goose's replacement (called a RIO) asked Maverick what he was doing.

Maverick replied, "it doesn't look good."

His new RIO replied, "IT DOESN'T GET TO LOOK ANY BETTER THAN THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The moral of the story is that some folks just aren't "TOP GUN" material ... some folks are designed to step out ... to take a chance ... others are not. Some of your friends won't because they have no vision. Others have no money. Others have nothing but fear. Some have always thought that you are nuts and wouldn't follow your investment advice EVER. Even though you are more educated than their investment counselor who has consistently lost their money for YEARS!

My counsel to you is this ... Do it or don't. It is a risk as all investments are. I personally do not believe that you will see the amount of leverage being offered to you presently by the IQD in your's or your children's lifetime ever again. That said, never spend more than you can afford to lose ... and yes that means don't bet next month's mortgage on a rumor!

Oh ... I always tell my group when they ask me something and I give my opinion that "that and a $1.79 will get you a cup of coffee at 7/11". In other words, it's just my opinion.

Study ... pray ... decide what is appropriate for you and your family.

Just so you know, I'm still buying IQD ... and I have a bunch ... and I buy more every week (along with our group) and I will continue to buy more until our new national holiday ... the "Iraqi RI/RV Day" which I will thank God for and celebrate annually!

PEACE TO ALL

Doc31

To all of our active and retired military personnel ... thank you for your service and sacrifice ... have a great weekend and be blessed.

It seems to me that we have a potentially great opportunity here. Just think of the returns that could happen. On the other hand, if we don't try to get a piece of this, if nothing else, as a hedge, how will we feel when the RV happens? What is this is sitting in your lap and you toss it aside. I still have many questions to be answered, but I have bought some and may buy more as more info come available. thanks to this forum, which is the best on the net for Dinar RV.

Important!!!!! Don't go around publiziing to everyone your investment in the dinar. Why? People do crazy things to get money. When the RV hits they will all know you are now wealthy and that they did not listen to you. I stopped telling friends, family, co- workers, nieghbhors about the dinar, amazingly no one listened. I worry about the safety of my family, home if people find out I have money. I now tell everyone I have sold my dinar. When they ask why? I say times are tough and I needed the money. After the RV I will quietly give two weeks notice, quite my job, not say a word. Change my phone number and not be flashy.

If you are silly enough to be holding the dinar in your house or in your own name ... Now, I know none of us are that silly, right? Right?

I first heard about the dinar several years ago and mentioned it to my partner. I was told that "not one dime was to be given to those ***************** Iraqis. I was then cussed out and called un American and un Christian. I now have a new partner and enough dinar to make a difference in my life and that of my family. No I won't call my ex and boast------but I will laugh all the way to the bank.:rolleyes: . And I am much happier with the new love of my life. ;)

Like some investors, I was remarkably skeptical about the IQD. I had to come to terms with my personal sacrifices that I endured fighting through multiple tours in Iraq, the feelings of somehow betraying my allegiance to my country, friends and family. Doing so gave me clarity and serenity. It was then that I began to do my 'homework' about the IQD and its' potential. I've been studying and investing ever since. I've told friends from college and the military about it. Irronically enough, my college friends who never served shy away from me and don't want to hear about it or they'll do a google search and stop when the word 'SCAM' comes up. My military friends are more like,"Oh hell yeah! Been there long enough to know something is going to happen. Might as well get a piece of the action too." Those that invested will reap their own rewards, those that did not will stay with the rest of the masses. No, this will not make me happy and it definitely not save my soul. It will, however, make pursuing my own happiness a lot easier. Quit my day job, enroll in a Master's program at my old university, make anonymous donations to struggling families, and continue to pursue happiness. Maybe that's just me... Take care, God speed, and Happy Hunting... GO RV!!

I got mine in Jan 2007. Mt wife thought I was nuts. Thought it was a stupid thing to do. I've got a little over a million. I have told some family and friends about it and they all give me that speculative look like " Yeah Right". I quit suggesting that they think about it after that. And when it happens I won't tell a sole what I have. Your family and close friends will be the first to kick down your door with their hands out. I eventually plan on helping family and when they ask where it came from I'll tell them a little white lie about the amount . They will appreciate what they get that way without thinking that I SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE FOR THEM. My Grand Plan is to make life comfortable for my wife of 24 years by removing her financial worries and leaving her assured of our retirement. I may not live much different than I do now but we will always be comfortable. And as far as the RV. It has to happen eventually. That is the plain truth with all the BS aside. When and what it comes out as is something we won't know until that day. Even at .10 on the dinar you would make a massive amount for your small investment and your life would be that much better even if it just illiminated your bills and took you out of debt. Set back and enjoy the ride. We probably are close to the end. One morning you will wake up with a smile on your face, your blood pressure will lower, and the sun will shine for you even on a cloudy day.

I have been invested since the begining, I have told friends about it and they said oh... ok I'll have to look at that. I've told co-workers in the past, they all just smiled and nod as deep down I know they thought I was crazy. All this was 4-5 years ago. I no longer work where I once was and the friends I told at first used to say .. So how's the dinaroos( as they would call them) doing? Now I hardly talk to those friends and one I am no longer friends with. Not one of them bought dinar co workers or friends. A few friends I still talk with on a regular basis don't ask or wonder about it as Im sure they forgot about it long time ago. I'm not gonna sit there or everytime I talk to them bring up the dinar and how sorry they will be if they don't buy some. My mom and dad bought a million and there friend bought a million. My brother had some but sold his as he became a disbeliever. I have about 150,000 set aside for him that I won playing poker from him anyways, so he'll get that back and not a dime more. I don't tell anyone nothing cause A. They think your crazy as you sit there and try to educate them about it. B. Most don't have the money to risk as this is a risk as nothing is certain. If I do become wealthy from this nobody will know about it other than the ones in my close imediate family that bought in. Other people from my past that if they come to surface my answer will be I got lucky from a inheritance and the money is investments that are doing well. As much as I would love to rub it in or go around wearing a t shirt that say work till you bleed with a big picture of a dinar note ..LOL I won't do it as I don't need any bad karma in my life- Dave aka surfer223

My husband and I have told family and close friends about the Dinar and have gotten the same blank stares from a few and others were all over it. One couple in particular make decent money but would rather go to the casino and blow $300 instead of investing it. It's so frustrating because they could turn around and buy $250K worth of Dinar and be able to pay off their home and do some other things that they want to do. We both feel that our responsibility ended when we discussed it with them the first time and now they are left to their own devices. My thought is, isn't life a gamble? Why not see where this thing goes, what do you have to lose?

We've been waiting quite awhile now for the RV to happen and the most important thing that you need to have is faith. I have seen many of you that NEED this investment to pan out and I truly feel for you and am right there with you. I've been out of work now since May and every month the budget keeps getting tighter and tighter, especially with winter and higher heating costs. I have faith in our investment, friends, and know that it's not a matter of "IF" but "WHEN." Until the RV, I will keep living my life and checking in here at DV. After all, you can get some pretty good information but it's also very good for comic relief :D

And WHEN it does RV, I will go out and "buy" myself a job and work each day for the best boss I know...Me! ;)

God Bless you all and GO RV!!!!!!

Great thread! Great ideas! I've only told a few people because I know most will think I'm naive and flakey and wasting my money - they already do. But I'll feel guilty if/when we score and they don't. I'll be giving dinars to some people after the RV, but really want my siblings to get in. Maybe if I give them some now and refer them to this site they'll be curious and do a little research on their own...hmmm. At least I will have let them know about it. Guess I'd better hurry, tho, in case the RV really is imminent. :P:D Doc & Maynard I love your posts. Uncle Mike, good idea about banking out of town. We are not going to tell others about this if the RV turns out well - who knows what crazies might hear about it! Martypop, I like your idea about telling ppl we traded almost all of it back in -- and if it seems like we have a little extra money right now it's because we sold a rental property. Retminded, you are a gem.

All interesting posts yet, most very similar experiences, don't you all agree? ... I think its the 'human nature thing' kick'en in!

When I first heard of the IQD, I researched it immediately. I was scarded off by the LOP talk, (back then), became a bit over whelmed and decided it was too complicated to sort out on my own. Than serval months later, the friend who had told me about this investment asked me if my husband and I had purchased some dinar, which I told him no and why. He encouraged me and told me to dig-in a bit deeper, so I did and after having some understanding into the whole big picture, made my first purchase.

After I purchased my first million, I decided to tell my closest friend, who happens to be my cousin. What a smart girl she is! She absolutely was interested and made her first small purchase.

However, other than my cousin, the few other people whom I decided to shared my 'secret' with, all blew me off. And I don't mean they were politely nodding and pretended to listen, I mean I could barely get the word Iraq out of my mouth when I was cut me off as they rolled their eyeballs at me! huh.gif It only took me the second experance to decide I'm keeping my IQD secret, a secret!

So when the RV occurs, and I feel it will happen very soon, I will continue to live modestly or as modestely as I can, be very quite and share my $$$ blessings as I feel directed. If or when I am asked about my $$$ blessing, I will down play it as some small investment that happened to pay off a little for me and my husband. No details neccessary.

RV Baby!!! biggrin.gif

I have really been surprised at the different reaction I have been getting from people that I have told. I have enough Dinar to retire and build a big house once this RV finally happens. My close friends are going to to know that I have come into money and they are going to be wondering how it happened. Since I shared it with some friends I felt like I needed to mention to everyone so that they don't feel like I was playing favorites.

I have had two general responses the first is that people laugh and tell me "good luck" the next response is people ask how they can also buy some Dinar. The sad thing is only 1 in 10 are buying Dinar the rest think it is just some kooky plan I have hatched up. Most call it a "scam". That is probably the statement that bugs me the most. How can an official government currency be a "scam".

In comparing the two, I think some people are open to new ideas, and have been looking for a way to make extra money and then there are others that are like robots and just want to work their 9-5 for 40 hours a week until they are 65! I don't want to keep working, I want my money to work for me so that I can enjoy the company of my family and friends.

I am happy to report that in my immediate family everyone has purchased Dinar except my brother. He is the lone hold out, but he will be receiving some as gift.

I told 3 people outside the Family, Surprisingly Everyone of them bought some, some Got the BOOK having different denominations in it, some bought 1-2 Million. I told them Hey if you buy a SCRATCH TICKET, why not check this out. Better Odds. Far better Returns. Like when I was at Binions casino on Fremont st in Vegas, I had the feeling the Number 23 was abiut to hit, so I had the Dealer place 2 $25.chips on it. I for me I for the Dealers & Pit Boss. IT HIT, Now here's the Kicker I left MY 25 doller chip LAY, BINGO BACK TO BACK HITS.It paid $875.00 BOTH TIMES.The Pit boss gave me a Voucher for Dinner for me & The Wife. so I'm glad I Gambled on the Dinar. what a Payday it Might bring. GO RV NOW.

We are still agonizing over who to mention it to. Just about a month ago, we bit the bullet and mentioned Dinar to our closest family. We told parents and siblings and (grown) children.

My Brother was interested, don't know if he has done anything about it.

My parents (mid-seventies) believe it may be a good deal, but consider themselves to be too old for such risk-taking.

My nephew (early twenties) was all about it, once he understood what was going on...but we haven't heard any more from him.

A good friend that I've had for many years replied that he didn't think it was right to profit off of the deaths and disfigurement of our young servicemen.

Young family members that are currently in the military (stateside) made no reply whatsoever.

We ourselves tend to feel that it's a far-fetched chance at wealth, but at middle-age, what have we got to lose? It's a far better investment than Powerball or Mega-Millions every weekend...so why not?

Only God knows what will become of any of us, but hubby and I have cast our lot. If we die in poverty...well, that's about the life we've led anyhow...so no big deal. Home is where our family is, and we've always got that, so we have all we need right there.

Mostly we would like to leave something to the grandkids, and leave open some possibilities in case any of them need to leave this great nation of ours for somewhere else.

I reckon we've done about all we can do.

One interesting thing I have noted about this is the fact that these same people will go out and spend 1, 2 or even up to 500$ on the state fair or a shopping spree, what I have noticed about most people like this is that it"s more about their ego than the money. If it doesn't work out they don't want to look "stupid". They cannot handle failure, in other words if the investment fails then they feel they fail. They relate their self esteem to looking good. Honestly I have no idea how this investment will work out but someone else said it, if you don't like it you can always get your money back, seems pretty safe to me. If it goes to a penny on the US $ youve made after fees at least 5-6 times your investment. In my field of work I have found if people want it they will find a way to get it.

Wassaap ask your good friend if you not buying the dinar is going to change what happened to our young servicemen in Iraq, there are many vets on here like chief that gave their time and risked their life in the gulf, and I honor them,I hope they all become millionaires. In my opinion your friend has poverty thinking, like "if I stay broke then the world is a better place". How many lives will you make better if you profit from this. think you could help one of those vets( and I know all about vets, my father was in WWII, brothers in the navy And AF) thats standing on the corner begging. Most people don't study enough history to know that a very large portion of our knowledge about obstetrics came form some very, very harsh experiments performed on women in concentration camps in WWII. There was a large debate over using that but in the end it was decided that if that info could be used to save a woman or her baby's life then these people didn't sacrifice in vain. To me not geting this means these people sacrificed for nothing, just my opinion

Doc31. Great post and Top Gun analogy. I was a Naval Flight Officer RIO trained for the F-4, so I know of what you speak. I am heavily invested in the dinar while the rest of my family poo-poos it. But then, again, none of them are risk-takers. As they say, "all shall be made known in the end" and I believe we will have been the smart ones....and the wealthier ones.....in the end. GO RV.

" Maverick had been cleared of the incident and was back in an F14 in a Top Gun dogfight with an F4 when he suddenly disengaged."

I totally agree with the analogy but it wasnt an F4 Phantom it was a MIG 28 ... ;)

I had friends say they would rather play the lottery, and my response has always been ... Try and cash in the old lotto ticket and see wht that gets you!

at top gun they were flying a-4's as a mig simulators...when maverick disengaged over the indian ocean they were in a dogfight with a mig 28...there is no such aircraft...the airplane was a northrup f-5...there is no such airplane as a mig 28

Why would you talk someone into something you have no idea how it will turn out?...this may or may not work out...and if it doesnt and you talked them into it then it is on you...be careful how you sell it.

Agreed. Investment talk is better left off the conversation list, especially when you think someone should or shouldn't do what you have done. My father-in-law talked his entire family into investing into a venture that never panned out. To this day half of the family will not talk to him. Regardless if its their choice or not, family will tend to follow family members into the unknown out of respect.

I would not talk any one INTO it...........

I just tell folks to look into it......some do......most don't.

I would regret not telling folks I care about. This could help many people I know and those people would use their blessings to help others.
