4-13-2013  Newshound Guru Mailman17   A FEW WEEKS AGO I GOT A CALL FROM THE BANK ON MY ROUTE THAT THE DINAR SHOWED UP ON THEIR SCREEN AND WAS NO LONGER CONSIDERED AN EXOTIC CURRENCY.  THE SCREEN THEY SHOWED WAS GREY AND ALL IT SAID WAS THE DINAR...AND A FEW AMOUNTS    OH, HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED.   TODAY THEY SHOW THE SAME SCREEN AS ANY OTHER TRADEABLE CURRENCY LIKE THE EURO OR YEN ECT.   SAME FORM EXCEPT FOR MISSING ONE LITTLE DETAIL...THE RATE.  THEY HAVE IT...IT IS...0.00000000.

 

4-13-2013  Newshound Guru Mailman17   NOW THIS MAY NOT BE MUCH TO SOME PEOPLE...TO ME IT MEANS EVEN A SMALL BRANCH HAS THEIR CORPORATE APPROVAL.  I ASKED HER ABOUT THIS SCREEN AND I WAS TOLD, YES, IF SOMEONE CAME IN AND WANTED TO CASH IN DINAR THEY WOULD HAVE TO PULL THIS SCREEN UP AND IT IS THE SAME SCREEN USED BY ALL TRADEABLE CURRENCIES THAT BANK TRADES.  BINGO,  NO RATE...SO THEY WOULD HAVE TO TURN THAT CUSTOMER AWAY AS NO RATE APPEARS.    BUT, THATS NOT THE IMPORTANT THING.

 

4-13-2013  Newshound Guru Mailman17    THE FACT THEY HAVE IT READY TO GO IS WHATS IMPORTANT.  THEIR CORPORATE RECOGNIZES DINAR AS A CASHABLE CURRENCY BUT WITH NO VALUE.  SO, TO ME, THIS MEANS THE BANKS HERE ARE READY AND THEY KNOW ITS COMING.  AGAIN, THIS MEANS AT LEAST THIS BRANCH AND IT BEING SMALLER THAN THE BIG FOUR CAN ONLY MEAN THE BIG FOUR HAVE IT AS WELL.  THEY WAIT FOR A RATE FROM THE UST.   THEY ARE NOW LIKE US, WAITING TO FILL THE BLANK IN.

 

 

4-13-2013  Newshound Guru Mailman17    I DID ASK HER REPEATEDLY IF THE DINAR HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE.  SHE WATCHES THIS FOR ME.  SHE SAID NO, NEVER....EVER.   THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE DINAR HAS SHOWED UP AS AN ACCEPTABLE CURRENCY...BUT NO RATE  AND THATS FINE I CAN WAIT AND I KNOW NOW IT WONT BE TOO MUCH LONGER.  I BRING THIS IN AS FACT AS I SAW THE SCREEN AND I SAW THE OTHER SCREENS SHE BROUGHT UP REGARDING THE OTHER CURRENCIES.  THIS AINT RUMOR AND MY EYES AINT THAT BAD YET.

  I  have been following Mailman for around 3 yrs. now and his posts are very conservative >I was quite shocked myself when I read this recent post.  It would be easy enough to pull up all of his past opinions, fact checks etc..  I sit with baited breath  ( whatever that means).

This might be the only bank screen rumor I am inclined to think is true.  The idea that a bank would have the IQD as a currency with a zero value makes MUCH more sense than any of the other bank rumor stories I've heard.   The question this puts in my head is how many other currencies are also in their system in this way?  Comparing and contrasting those would be wonderful intel, actually.
