Until Chapter VII is done there's no reason to trigger the rest, imo.

There are no sactions on the currency. the remaing ch7 has nothing to do with the dinar. we need the cbi to declare the dinar for use internationally move from being pegged.because we need to create external trading, which will increase demand and hopefully increase its value. TrinityeXchange
Although CH7 liberation itself might not equate a currency revaluation directly, it is definitely a HUGE day for the country of Iraq and will mean great things for their economic proliferation. It seems that all sides are happy and there will be a final signing and photo op session come the 15th. It is really something to see how eager Kuwait has been to establish investments with Iraq. HopefulTxn
You are correct cooked!!! Article VIII of the IMF states they must be out of chapter VII. Good to stay focused on the facts...not the rumors. Oh and thanks for the post Jupitergirl. Can you show what part of Article VIII of the IMF references the UN's Chapter VII and states that they cannot have Chapter VII resolutions against them? Here is a LINK to the Article VIII text from the IMF website, and while there is reference to Article VII within it (Article VII: Replenishment and Scarce Currencies) there does not seem to be any mention of UN Chapter VII... It just doesn't seem to make any sense that Iran can have Chapter VII sanctions/resolutions against them through the UN and still remain in Article VIII with the IMF and Iraq couldn't move from Article XIV to Article VIII while having Chapter VII issues from the UN hanging over their head...

Yep...CH7 is from the UN, and Article 8 is from the IMF...two completely different agencies with differing agendas...one has nothing to do with the other....
