Why not blame every POTUS since then for not challenging and trying to have the decision changed??? In regards to the Pledge of Allegiance... You do realize that the US Congress is what caused the problem in the first place when they changed it to add the that phrase in the early 1950's, right??? If they hadn't made that change, then every student would most likely be stating the Pledge of Allegiance to this day in every US public school...

Not supporting Obama, but prayer in school was abolished decades before he ever became President... He has made plenty of mistakes during his tenure as President to blame him for without making stuff up that he had absolutely nothing to do with...

He could be right to have done what he did... He could be wrong to have done what he did... Those in Florida and will be part of the jury will make that decision, based on the evidence that is presented to them... As any jury in any jurisdiction would... I am just glad the story has died down some in the media, so that the people that actually have a voice in how the case pans out don't have to listen to the media BS - and they can focus on the two sides of the case that have far more information on the situation than the media would ever release because it might effect their ratings scale...

In case you haven't realized, Ali has no more of a clue as to when or how the dinar will change it's value... Ali is looking out for Ali... Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing Ali... Sorry Cpt, but unless you can show where Iraq has either ever valued their currency in the manner in which you speak, or show where they have ever stated their intent is to do so - then making claims that they will leverage the value of their oil to support the current value of their currency is just you blowing smoke out of your bum like every other guru... But you have put absolutely nothing forward to show where they have in the past, nor where they state that they will in the future, value their currency in such a manner...

Do you have anything to show that Iraq ever based the value of their currency on the value of their oil??? The reason that I ask is that Saddam is stated to have spent the $60 billion or so dollars they had backing their currency in the 1980's with his war with Iran... If they had $60 billion dollars backing a currency with only 15-20 billion dinar in circulation it would legalistically explain why their currency was valued so high at one point in time... But since he replaced that asset with debt (liabilities from Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait) how could the current $60 billion in reserves meant to carry the same value as they had then when there was 1,000 times less currency to support with it???

I am the last person that would be or should be considered a supporter of Obama or his family... But the BS that is being put forward in this thread about his or his wife's license is just that, BS... This might sound nice, but where do you think the government gets its funds to do such things??? Taxes... Are you, and your children (and possibly their children or further), willing to pay for the homes that people purchased that were beyond their economic means when they got them because they cannot meet the current mortgage minimums??? If you can show where there would be no liability of debt for anyone, either now or in the future for doing this, I and many others I am sure would love to hear it...

Can you really name any political families that meet the requirements that you seem to desire??? You know, the kind that would be able to identify with you on a socioeconomic level...

The funny thing is that if you adjusted George Washington's worth during his time to today he would actually be worth about twice what Romney is worth... Most politicians have wealth far beyond the levels of their constituents... That is nothing new... It's been the case since our government was first founded after declaring our independence...
