Aboul Gheit said, in his speech during the launch of the activities of the Arab Labor Conference in its 50th session in the capital, Baghdad, and followed by {Al-Furat News}: “This year’s Arab Labor Conference is special because it is held in Baghdad,” expressing his “deep happiness for its presence in the capital, Baghdad.” He expressed his "thanks to the leadership and people of the Republic of Iraq for the warm reception and everyone who contributed to the good preparation of this conference." He added that "Palestine is under serious attack," warning that "the Zionist occupation authorities are deducting the wages of Palestinian workers and arresting them." He stressed that "protecting Palestinian rights is everyone's responsibility," calling on the International Labor Organization to "deal with the action plan submitted by the Palestinian Authority regarding restoring the labor market in Palestine." He noted that "the war in Palestine caused the loss of more than 550,000 jobs," stressing "the need to keep pace with the effects of technological changes on the labor market." Today, Saturday, the activities of the Arab Labor Conference (fiftieth session) began in the capital, Baghdad, under the patronage and presence of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.
