Mustafa Al-Tamimi/ Baghdad

Today, Saturday, the Parliamentary Legal Committee announced its intention to legislate a number of important laws that are intended to strengthen the work of the next government, which we hope to form in the coming period.

Committee member Aref Al-Hamami told Al-Nabaa Agency that “the Federal Oil and Gas Law is the most important bill that we intend to pass to regulate the oil relationship between the center and the region, and there are bills that have been on the shelves of Parliament for years, and therefore it is necessary to pass and reformulate them.” .

And Al-Hamami stated that "legislating important laws should be far from political disputes. Parliament should be far from all political disputes and conflicts over positions. Parliament has an oversight and legislative mission, and these tasks should not be killed through political disputes."

...nevermind... ( sounded good, huh) thought I'd put it out there even though we all know what it really means-nothing will get done, but we'll talk it up a storm for the news telling everyone what fabulous stuff to look forward too, " in the near future "

A little Jaded U say ? Damn straight ! After nearly 20 years who ISN'T raise your hand.

Hmmm, lemme see now show of hands...back in the corner, ONE ? Only One ?

"How long U been in this investment ?"

" Uh, 3 years now "

" Tell ya what, in another 16 years or so, I'll get back to U and U tell me if U still feel the same way."

" Uh, U think we'll still be in DV & waiting for the RV that much longer ?????? "

" Sunshine, ya can never tell with this mob "

Gotta have some fun while we " prepare to standby " as we're fond of saying in the Army.

Shafaq News/ The Parliamentary Investment and Development Committee announced, today, Saturday, efforts to legislate a law (partnership between the private and public sector) to raise the level of the Iraqi economy.

Committee member Ahmed Salim Al-Kinani explained, in a statement today, that the law of partnership between the private and public sectors is one of the very important laws in raising the level of the Iraqi economy, as it is concerned with the formula of economic contracting according to international regulations and laws.

He added that this law will preserve the relationship between the two sectors (public and private) in terms of operation, management, financing and development of production lines, which supports the development of the industrial sector correctly, not as it is now in the form of participation, which most economists and jurists consider somewhat vague.
