WOW, Yota, the section you highlighted is over the top news, "He said the secretary - general that « the meeting concluded to hold a workshop for actors relevant, to prioritize projects and activities finalized to return to the Bank of International»."

Looks like it is show time for the Iraqi Boys and Girls.  A chop chop workshop is in order to put the pedal to the metal on the projects and activities.  I may be mistaken but "return to the Bank of International" seems to imply the functional connectivity Iraq had at one time - likely pre Kuwait invasion by Saddam.  Today, the ultra modern communications and protocols appear to be in place nationally and internationally to avert funding terrorism, minimizing corruption, and minimizing money laundering.  At some point, some one is going to have to flip the switch!  Maybe one of the "activities finalized" is the selection of the "actors relevant" for the switch flipping.  Hey, I'd like to flip that switch!  How about you???!!!

As always, the question remains . . . WHEN ?????? :confused2:

Looking to the very probable smokescreen - " Deletion of Zeros program postponed " . . . . how then would the government expect to tackle their appalling poverty rate ?

Continue with outstretched hands to the W. Bank or IMF to beg and borrow, borrow for God knows how long ? Or perhaps all would be well with" Parliament announces plans to Implement The Global Barter Initiative ?"

Better still : Holistic Organic Iraqi Desert Sand - Healing Sands from the Anbar Province. I'm sure Amazon would just jump at the chance to get in on the ground floor of such a $$$$ maker like that ! Ridiculous is it not ? The point being, I WON'T see Iraq as a " Sovereign Nation " ( saying a thing, doesn't make it so now does it ? ) until they have ( follow the rules Iraq ) the IQD globally recognized.

They'd better figure something out, because if the IQD is under no threat ( it's been according to them off & on in crisis for how long ? ), " Sovereign Nation " be damned - they'll continue to be a Nation Of Beggars. Problem is they've been coddled far too long.

What would those Nations who have invested countless millions of $$$$ or EUROS etc. into Iraq to date, think if Iraq decided not to trot out their currency 'til maybe 2019 ? Or are they all in on the FIX ?

Perhaps the the UN, W. Bank & IMF etc. & GOI ( is Abadi being sandbagged ? ) is most content with travelling this course, the Citizenry of Iraq is quickly losing their patience; if, that patience has not already been LOST !

IS Mosul the Key that opens the Lock :twocents:
