This new party apparently intends to address corruption and I suspect Maliki will in no way, shape, or form fit in there.  With things morphing as they are now, I suspect the levers Maliki used to use in Iraq will no longer be there and Maliki's days are numbered.

 

Late April or early May 2016 could be a better indicator of the stability of Iraq as a country.  I remain hopeful with all the initiatives taking place in Iraq and the international support.

Thank You, Yota, for this and all the other articles you bring over.  I am hoping they can better the 150 lawmakers by a few to, say, 170 so they have a majority and overwhelm and extinguish any remaining Dawa party influences.
