cashman54
Is it safe to say that there has been more activity in this past year (POSITIVE, GOOD ACTIVITY, that is) in the Iraqi Dinar than there has been in the past 7 years of this investment, or am I being way too optimistic? I am not as educated and following as hard as some people, but it just seems like there has been so much happening. Wanted to know yall's opinions?

easyrider
the reason is a REGIME change and a, leader thats actually wants to move iraq forward minimize corruption and unite with the kurds and give a bright future to ALL the Iraqi people. Thats the change we needed and the evidence is clear. Edited November 21, 2014 by easyrider 8

Nadita
Yep.. I say Iraq is rockin' n rollin'. The three musketeers (Abadi, Massoum, Jabouri) are great leaders with a big heart for their people and the betterment of Iraq... hope we have one in order for 2016

MyLadiesDaddy
If you look at my post from November and December last year you will see that Iraqi news had me ,and a lot of others here, absolutely certain that they intended to do something by the first of the year. Then SUDDENLY everything just abruptly stopped. I'm not saying that's what's happening now, only that I find it difficult to get excited again, knowing how quickly Iraq can make you feel like a fool.
ReinMan
The progress is inspiring but everyone is ignoring the 800 pound gorilla.... ISIS OCCUPIES A THIRD OF THE COUNTRY!!! Someone said Anbar province is bankrupt... WELL GEE GUESS WHY! There will be NO RV with TERRORISTS OCCUPYING THE COUNTRY! There will be no monetary policy change this year, and anyone who says otherwise is a pumper probably paid by the dinar dealers. YEAH YOU, Tony, DC, Exogen and TerryK and the whole TNT team! No amount of prayer will help either. 1

yendor
Reinman any thoughts on 2015? Hell no,he doesn't. Just a big opinion with no meat.... only what he "thinks" and any one of us have had the same thoughts at one time or another..... but we're all just as hopeful that we will be wrong. sundog
There are terrorists occupying our country. Doesn't seem to matter. Not a good reason. Isis is being driven out and security is better. Great? maybe not but better. Abadi is way ahead of Maliki ever thought of being. More has been accomplished in 3 months than in 10 years. Nothing will ever be "perfect" but life goes on and Iraq has ALWAYS had a more valuable currency. It has only been the last 10 years that it is garbage. Even under Saddam it had value that other countries recognized even if the US didn't. I don't like Tony or any of the other gurus bs but I don't pay attention to them and I do think it is very possible for the change to happen before the end of the year and it's possible it won't. I do think it is not far off. If Iraq wants to be an international player, and they do, then they need to have an internationally accepted currency. As far as countries like Vietnam and Zim they have tradable currencies, they may be undervalued but they are internationally traded. Totally different situation than Iraq's. I don't believe those countries will change their rates for a while and maybe a long while but I believe Iraq will be soon.
Calijim
How about this. RV the dinar. Makes all Iraqis with saved dinar rich.. Rich people won't want to cooperate with terrorists or live in a 9th century caliphate. After all the Goi has made this possible not the terrorists. Wealth changes things.
