Nadita
To All Veterans I would like to say "THANK YOU" for serving the country and keeping us all safe and able to sleep because we know you are watching over us. We might not show our gratitude to you openly or we just pass by you without noticing you.. just know at this special weekend, we remember the sacrifice you do for the country and for us all. God bless all of you and May He give you peace and cover you with His grace and make His face to shine upon you

TexasGranny
The best way to honor all of those that served is to participate on election day. After all, that is one of the freedoms our military has defended since the Revolutionary War. Without their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families, we would not have our God given freedoms today. So, thank a vet by becoming active in our political process from the local level up. They should not have to shoulder all of the burden by themselves. Each citizen should become educated about the roll of our government and help our military defend our freedoms by voting for candidates that vow to uphold our constitution.

sandfly
I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO ALL THE CONTRACTORS WHO GAVE, AND LOST THERE LIVES. WHO IS THERE. A BIG THANKS TO EVERY BODY
pattyangel
Thanks Sandfly, contractors are frowned upon. And many have lost their lives in serving our military, they're stories are lost. As a contractors wife I hold the highest respect for our contractors, for they too gave up a normal life as well. We will never know their reasons for taking on a task, but I know mine, and it wasn't solely about the money, although the money helped with a lot of my medical needs. Our contractors too, saw the good, the bad and the ugly. The friendship he has made will never be forgotten. So I salute our contractors. Sandfly again thanks for the recognition, but today belongs to our military. :salute: God Bless and stay safe.
