Don't get too excited here folks... How many remember the CBI site going down in December 2010 and thought that we would see the adjusted rate once it came back up?

Need to make a quick correction on info - it appears ThePlanet is no longer hosting runbox.net and it is now hosted by a

company called copyleft.no - a large data center located in Oslo. This means that the whois information on cbi.iq may be

in error. It hardly matters since runbox.net is offline, it doesn't really matter where the servers are located it still results in

cbi.iq being offline too. :(

Been watching this closely since I saw that CBI was down this AM...Not trying to read any tea leaves here, but it is strange that CBI's webpage has been down since approx. 10:30 this morning & today's currency auction was an even 200M. Quite possible that CBI is changing out their webpage and could also have something to do with the new undersea telecommunications cable that just went online.Maybe they are changing out and updating all their telecom equipment ? It will be very interesting to see how this will play out in the coming hours.

the site is not overloaded, its is totally down...your browser sends a request to the site, however CBI is not sending one back, meaning that the site is down....if it was lag due to overload, the site would send notice of request back but no data would be sent(website data).

the CBI is down for some reason, but that reason is not server overload.
