I've been having very similar issues with the latest one being that no captcha is displaying and there are server errors appearing ... I'm thinking everyone is having issues... sadly the only thing we can do is wait... I do think they will get things working soon and we will be able to see our interest...

Hey Trinity/Moneysoon, I've been waiting to invest in the ISX. I have a funded Warka account and have opened a brokerage account with them. I was wondering if you 'guys' think it would be a good idea to invest in TASC now and if so, do you know how to go about it using Warka? Could you message me? thanks!

I just received a response today from warka that my account password was reset. I think yout problem is witn your AOL account. Try using a gmail account.

You have to request an online account. If you already had them transfer funds from your USD to IQD then just send them an email requesting an online account and they will deduct a few dinar from your IQD account. But you first have to have dinar in your IQD account. If you need more info just let me know...

I get that sometimes also, but I just click on the link again and it usually works the second or third time. Give it a try.

Frankj, They are closed Friday and Saturdays.. so any emails that are sent off hours are not read at all. It's important that you only send your email when they are open.. so depending on where you live, you should send your email only during business hours. Also, make sure you include Mr. Issa.. his email is: ifrd@warka-bank-iq.com Let me know how you make out.

I do not think there is a charge for online transfers, but I could be wrong. I think there was a charge when Warka did my first transfer for me.

Hey ddm, Yes, it still costs 103 dollars.. Overall it could take about a month to get your broker number for investing in the ISX. This is overall time.. I think the benefit is that you will be ready to invest in the ISX once things start moving, I plan on being ready to invest in the cell phone companies this year so I now have my ISX broker number.

Hey, below is an email that I received from Warka that says the min balance for USD account is 150. I am almost positive that you have to wire transfer your funds into your USD first and then request a transfer to IQD and then request set up of an e account.. here is the email, let me know if you need more info on anything.. well, i'm not sure if it would be international for you, when I wire from the US I do it as I am wiring to a US account.. try it both ways... as international and if it does not work try US or whatever other option you have..

Leanonme, if you are talking about opening a Warka account, here's how I did it: To open an account at Warka Bank you need: 1) Copy of Passport or Drivers License 2) A letter, as follows, authorizing Warka Bank to exchange USD to IQD on your behalf: I Your Full Name. authorize Al-Warka Investment Bank to draw from my Dollar account ( current or saving ) in the above Bank and exchange the Dollar into Iraqi Dinar according to price fixed by the Central Bank of Iraq at that day , and then deposit it in my Iraqi Dinar account at the said bank Your Full Name Your Address Here's how I sent the above to Warka Bank. 1) Scanned my Drivers Licence and saved as a jpg 2) Typed the above letter, printed it, signed it, scanned and saved as a jpg 3) Created and sent an email to: c.accounts@warka-bank-iq.com ifrd@warka-bank-iq.com a.Insert File - Drivers License jpg b.Insert File - Autorization Letter jpg c.Body of email contained the following: Dear Sir, Please open a USD and IQD Savings Account with Warka Bank on my behalf. SeasidePete, This is normal, your funds will sit as unavailable for about a day or so, until they clear then they will become available. Just keep watching online for it and then you can do your transfer. Warka is off today because of a holiday, so not sure it this will impact the timing. But, no worries your funds will be available shortly.

Hello, You need a color copy of your passport and license. and they need to be notarized along with the document with 3 sigs. You can use Warka as your broker to invest in the ISK, but Warka itself is not trading on the ISX.

You do not need a passport to open a warka account, your drivers license works.. you only need a passport to trade on the ISX.

I don't think anyone can answer the question, right now we can only send USD to Warks, so who knows what is going to happen after the RV, I would say no we won't be able to do it.. Also, I think there is a Warka branch in Germany, may be safer to fly there.... It also depends if they give a time limit to cash out the higher denoms.. there are just to many "if'" for anyone to be able to give an answer here....
